The room looked lovely. Good toilets. Good shower. Clean. Comfortable bed. A few BBC channels on TV for English speakers. It was close to the hall for my work event. The lady downstairs was helpful and called a taxi for me.

No disposable items like razors or toothbrushes - those are handy and most other places have them. Be prepared to pay for twice the room amount plus 2,000NT. On arrival you pay the room fee plus 2,000 as insurance, and when you leave you pay the price of your room and the previously held amount will be returned at a later date by your bank. This is somewhat inconvenient and would be better done with cash that can easily be returned upon check out so you don't pay twice.

The hotel is about 460 metres from Gangqian Station. It's quite easy to find. Building looks nice, located in the quite neighbourhood, with supermarkets behind it, and a big fruit stall just beside it. There are quite a number of small eateries around it, and the local foods are delicious.The room is clean, and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is considered quite big, with heated toilet seat and water spray. Staff are helpful and courteous. Breakfast buffet is quite standard and simple. Staff there are cheerful and nice, feels great meeting them every morning.

I had issues communicating with staff by chat when I requested room date change.. They were slow to respond and I even called. But they were hesitant to change as they said I am out of the change window ( 7 days, not the usual 3 days with other places). So, out of desperation I changed my itinerary in order to stick with the reservation date. But when I made that original request, the reply I got was "DENIED". That was rude and terse and I shot back. They then responded with a paragraph. Anyway, the room was very nice and spacious but I think the location made them under reserved. Location did work out for me as my relatives were close enough by a short 10 min ride and I was visiting another relative in a nearby hospital. For that neihu location, I overpaid by quite a bit compared to the other dates that were available. The staffs were much nicer when you deal with them in person. The hotel is beautiful and the amenities were great.

The hotel is very nicely decorated, everything from the entrance to the hotel rooms. The staff are all pleasant, helpful and responsive. The bed is firm enough, we would have liked it to be a little softer, but it was still perfectly fine. It is not rock hard. There was a small fridge that could keep a few bottles of drink chilled. There are many restaurants and shops near the hotel. At the back there is a grocery store that is open 24/7. It takes about 15 minutes to go to the nearest subway, which is still perfectly fine. The hotel is not super central, so if you want to do a lot of things in the city and don't want to go every day, you might want to look at a different hotel. We liked living on the outskirts as it is a bit quieter to live outside the city central.

The breakfast is not particularly varied for us who come from Europe, the breakfast is more focused on the Asian market. The fridge is a bit too small and has difficulty keeping drinks properly cold, especially during the summer when it can get very hot.

The friendly staff - always so helpful and friendly. this is our second time returning to the hotel, and it's been one year plus, one of the staff could still recognise our kids. The room cleanliness standard still remains very good. This time round, the hotel is also implementing save the earth project, which they no longer issue individual toothbrush in room, however they are always so helpful in getting one if you really required it.

The breakfast spread is not great and it’s the mostly the same spread everyday. If they have have change in variety each day will be good. Also the fried and scrambled eggs were too dry

The room is clean and fitness room meets basic stretch and workout needs by providing bottle water and towels.

It’s a bit far to main business areas by bus even it is walkable in 5 minutes. It cost around 1500 NT from Taoyuan airport to the hotel which is not cheap.

I've been staying here for all my trips to Taiwan for the last 3 years and I'm never disappointed. They even left a card for my birthday! How cool is that?

Wifi quality would drop at night significantly, not suitable for videocalls (audio is ok)

I liked the behavior of the staffs and there friendly attitude. They helped me sort out nearest places to visit.. They took care of everything we needed.

Good ambience, quiet and respectful guests (tourists or otherwise), very good breakfast. Complimentary coffee in lobby. Quiet-closing doors to rooms. Very good toilet and shower…good electrical switches for all lights in room.

The TV was too complex to operate. No instructions in English for its operation.
