Quiet location, polite staff

Slow with meal services. We were called from our room that dinner was ready. We sat looking at an empty table for another 10 mins.. Same thing happened the next day with b/fast even after coming 8 minutes from the time they phoned us in our RM.

The staff were extremely kind, professional, and interested in delivering a high quality experience during our stay. We spent one night here because of its proximity to ARK and while nothing fancy, the facilities and room were clean and comfortable - exactly what we needed. Breakfast before our ride to the airport, which the hotel provided, was also wonderful!

Our corner room abutted a farm/shamba and the roosters were charming but loud and persistent.

Pool was not so clean Sometimes we had to wait a bit long for dinner. However, when served, it tasted nice

Clean, hot showers, nice patio. Free breakfast is nice.

Location is very close to the airport if that is your goal, but if you want to spend more time in town it is not central

I had a very late check in an the staff were so friendly and made me feel at home.

For a coffee lodge, we were surprised to find out that we cannot visit the coffee plantation because the property is a bit far from it and no transportation could be provided. the bathroom is of a decent size with good amenities but the hot water was a challenge. it’s either too hot or too cold… impossible for a decent shower. also the shower spills directly on the bathroom floor which makes the whole bathroom a slipping hazard. the pool was not at all as advertised, much smaller than the pictures on booking.com-but that’s ok- the problem was the lack of cleaning and maintenance. upon checkout, we tried to pay using the cards they said they accept (master card and visa) but both didn't work. wi-fi was a challenge. very limited reach - only in the small space at the reception and some parts of the garden. No wi-fi in the room.
