The apartment was spotless, the cleanest we’ve seen in Arusha! Bed was very comfortable and the lounge area with sofa, tv and kitchen made for a very comfortable base. Washer and dryer were also available which was convenient. A reasonable 15 min walk to a good mall for coffee, food and supermarket. Wifi was fast and mostly reliable as well. Staff was helpful and friendly. A secure and safe building, and known for easy food delivery. Highly recommend!

The shower had a 6L hot water tank only which is very little so you need to be very careful with how much hot water you use. Lights were a bit dim for night time. Stairs only but not a problem for us. At times a little noisy late at night/early morning.

Loved my stay at mufasa city hostel. I stayed in dorms and rooms both. And they both are a very good value for money. I booked with them thrice. The place is secure and safe for female solo travellers, naomi and other staff members are very helpful and welcoming. The beds are comfortable and the view of Mt. Meru from the terrace is exceptional. Highly recommend this place if you are in arusha!

The power outage during daytime. So please charge your devices in the night. I think this is the issue in most of the places in tanzania. Also the geyser in the bathroom gives hot water only for a few seconds and then cold water. So be ready for the sudden temperature change :D other than that everything is fantastic and i loved the place. :)

The staff were super friendly. They knew my name, allowed me to check in early and check out late. They were so helpful with any of my questions. My room (Simba!) was spotlessly clean. The bed super comfortable, and I didn't need to use the fan or the air-conditioning. I got a great, quiet night's sleep. Breakfast is good with a nice omelette and real filter coffee🤩, all on the roof terrace with a great city view. Using the washing machine was cheap, fast, and made everything clean and lovely again. And there's a place for a great massage 2 minutes walk away (Big Time Spa)

Everything was great.

Excellent stay but I was the only one in my area so it was so very comfortable and a most enjoyable stay. However, there was barely enough hot water for a shower and couldn't shower self and wash my hair so not sure how it would be if all the beds in the area were full. The ladies that caretake the place are helpful and keep it spotlessly clean It has a great rooftop area.

Not enough hot water for a shower. Wifi and power outages can be difficult to deal with eg. if clothes washing. All else was great.

This is my third time here, it's a great hostel, and I always meet other wonderful travellers here , who become friends.

The toilet roll seemed to often empty, so I had to keep going to the laundry room to replenish. I extended my booking 3 times and each time the price goes up , which was very annoying . Plus the website prices were all over the place , showing in the hundreds for 3 nights and the dorms weren't even showing up . The bunk I was in in Nyati was extremely squeaky , disturbing fellow guests.

We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment which included a cozy lounge area with a sofa, TV, kitchen and private bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean and modern, whereas the double bed was very comfortable. The location is central and a convenient 15-minute drive from Arusha airport. Overall, we felt it offered excellent value for money.

Occasional noise from the nearby street or urban surroundings was noticeable, though not disruptive.

The location was very convenient and the staff very friendly and helpful. I really loved the location and the staff were really warm and friendly.

There was some miscommunication over my payment. While the room was discounted to TZS14,000 on booking.com + TZS4,000 city tax. My payment on booking.com was unsuccessful, but I was surprised when I was asked to pay more than TZS20,000 on arrival. It would be useful to have been contacted in advance to have been prepared.

AMAZING VALUE. I had a special offer for three days and I didn't regret moving from another place. Plus I was alone in a dorm, basically I had a single room. The receptionist is a great girl, very interesting and speaks perfect English. The area is not very central, but it is interesting, the real Arusha, btw 20 min waling from the main street, doable.

The place is all very new and clean, but I saw some "undesired guests" in the kitchen one night, not very pleasant insects, and again the morning after. But ok, it is Africa and you can find such things. They sprayed, and the things disappeared completely. The staff listens and cares if you say things and this is good.

Good apartment with the best shower I had in Africa, and all the facilities are of good quality. We arrived by bus from far away after 11 pm, and within 10 seconds of ringing the bell, we were already checked into the apartment. The breakfast is good.

There is no reception or someone you can talk gave to face and get basic information like how to get a taxi, or how much a taxi should cost and so. Other than that the communication is good and you have the phone number in the apartment where you can call and get immediate answer

Loved this hotel. They had clean and spacious rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. They were always kind. Also nice facilities like a restaurant and laundry. The incredible value and convenient location makes for a nice short stay in Arusha. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting!

Water in the shower goes cold after a couple of minutes. Just have to turn it off for a minute and back on. Also sometimes it can be noisy outside (busy road).
