Me and my husband have been traveling a lot, but we are blowed away from this amazing place. Wow what a hotel and staff! From day one, they took care of us in a way that made us feel welcomed, relaxed and comfortable. This is so important for us, so staying here for 10 days was easy and a wonderful stay. Thankyou so much to everyone who made our days our best. A special thanks to Leigh and her staff in the reception, the restaurant (wonderful young people allways smiling) and a BIG bow for the chef. The food here is beyond expectations. Everything is fresh, delightful and tastes wonderful. We had the all inclusive and it was worth every penny. Again, thankyou to all of you, for making our stay so amazing. We will definitely come back!

We were greeted with exceptional hospitality from the moment we arrived. Very friendly staff the entire stay. It was our honeymoon and they made it special for us. The food was tasty and readily available. It was not busy at all which made it very relaxing. We spoke with Leigh, the Manager, often and she was more than accommodating for us. It was very nice getting to know her. They offer a kayak for free to take out when you want.

It's no fault of the hotel but walking the beach can be overwhelming with how many people approach you to buy their stuff. Understandable because they want to make a profit as well but it became quite annoying. They do leave you alone once you say no thank you about 3 times. They are also not allowed to approach you when sitting on the hotel chairs which is good. Would highly suggest bringing water shoes as you cannot be in the ocean without them. We didn't realize this and didn't do our research on it so we swam in the pool.

The breakfast was great, it had variety and you could make special off menu requests if need be, beautiful setting and we had to leave one day earlier than breakfast usually starts for an activity but they accommodated us as they always did, such a lovely stay. Staff are unbelievable, a true boutique experience which allowed us to relax, couldn’t recommend any more.

Full review. Recommend it! This is a new built hotel right on the beach with african boutique design. The area around is among local people and few other smaller hotels. You can feel the present of Zanzibar real life just walk 10 meters from hotel.  Its a safe area. Of course you will get contacted by the masai and salesmen as anyware in the tourist area. But they also let you go if you are not interested. Me and my wife can really recommend you to go here. Why? Calm and friendly athmosphere. Well trained staff. Meet happy local people. Nice pool. Really good restaurang with reasonable price 10-16 dollar. Nice new room with fan and AC. Good cleaning everywhere. Good sunbeds, both on the beach and poolside. Free water during stay, really appreciated that. Nearby there are some good lunch places like ChiChi.  Dinner at the hotel are at reasonable  prices and very tasty. Great job, chef and staff. Breakfast is meeting all your needs, even including different choices like omelett etc. Great coffee aswell. Hotel offers tours, but we went to Mnemba Island by local guide for halfday incl lunch. Price on the beach 35-50 dollar ppx. for private boat. We swimmed with dolphins! Make that tour to Mnemba while you on the eastcoast.  Hotel offers taxi from airport, 45 dollar. Local alternatives are also available to cheeper price. Best regards to staff and management, who has succeeded to make our stay so fantastic. Any inprovements? As in Africa, wifi is poor. During morning you got 3 mb down and in the evening 0.4 mb. You can surf, but no video/livestream. Thats it. Just go here if you want calm, relaxing holiday! We loved the place!

The staff was always smiling and trying to accommodate all our requests. The location of the hotel few meters from the beach was perfect for walking on the beach and swimming. Breakfast was abundant and a la carte daily. The menu at the restaurant changes daily and offers a variety of local and international dishes, all very tasty.

Staff were outstanding, so welcoming and service minded , hotel and room was amazing, food quality excellent. We got a free room upgrade and also on the departure day, we got to keep our room until evening free of charge. Overall an amazing place, can highly recommend.

There was nothing we did not like, aside from the part that we had expected the ocean to be crystal clear water, it was not really suitable to swim in the ocean in front of the hotel. A lot is sea weed, rocks. It did not look clear. That is a real shame. Also it would be highly recommended if they cleaned the beach for sea weed, so the beach would be white.

From the moment we arrived the staff welcomed us and removed all stress from our travels: cool face towels, drink, and right to our room instead of reviewing lots of information about the property. Definitely the sign of a manager (Martin) with excellent hospitality skills. Walking into our room we were amazed at the intricate decorations made of flowers and palms on the bed spelling out "Happy 20th Anniversary"! Such a thoughtful personal touch that was the start of many wonderful memories at Alladin! The elements of the room that impressed us were the high quality pillows and bedding, quiet AC, comfy bathrobes, hot shower with good water pressure, wardrobe that fit long dresses, and incredible ocean view from the bed and balcony! We loved the large pool with infinity edge and plenty of seating and beach towels, it was always clean and well kept. Other unique amenities: a gym available for working out with AC, a rooftop lounge where we watched African safari videos while having a sundowner, free kayak for a paddle out to the reef, a private jacuzzi that you could reserve for a special romantic and relaxing experience! We even had champagne delivered to our jacuzzi time! Excellent and beautifully presented food for every meal, with something for everyone. The staff were attentive and available whenever needed, and were happy to accomodate any request we had. We really enjoyed the night with live music performance with African dancing, which all of the guests joined in and had a great time! We really enjoyed our chats with the manager Martin and his positive energy is what made Alladin glow, and we watched him interact with all the guests to ensure each one had the vacation they wanted. Don't wait, book the Alladin, you won't regret it! We will definitely be coming back!

The staff of the hotel was extremely helpful and attentive. All of them were very eager to help with a big smile in their face. The staff is extremely friendly in a sincere way. It does not feel foreced and it gives a warm feeling of hospitality. I would like to especially mention Mohamed, who was very attentive to us.

The beach in front is not very apt for swimming given the amount of fishing boats and seasonal algae. Also, there is high and low tides which makes it tricky to time your swim. Additionally, the prices for tours and taxis are considerably more expensive compared to booking it yourself separately (25% to 50% more expensive base on our experience). The gym facilities are not really great, although we did not even try using them because we were lazy in the end.

Staying at Alladin was an unforgettable experience. What truly made this place stand out was the incredible staff. Khamis, Benito, Faraja, Mona, and the rest of the team made me feel like part of their family. Their warmth, kindness, and constant willingness to help turned this hotel into my home on Zanzibar. I stayed for two weeks and enjoyed every moment—relaxing by the pool, swimming in the sea (which was especially amazing from 3 PM onwards when it felt like a natural hot tub!), and simply soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. As a solo traveler, I always felt that someone from the hotel was looking out for me, which made my stay even more special. The rooms are perfect. The food was absolutely delicious! I ate at the restaurant almost every day, and there were plenty of great vegetarian options. Beyond the hotel itself, they took such great care of me when organizing excursions. Everything was arranged flawlessly—packed breakfasts, reliable taxis, excellent guides—it made exploring Zanzibar so easy and stress-free. This is the perfect place to feel at home in Zanzibar. The only downside? You won’t want to leave!

We stayed at Alladin Hotel for 7 days and had most amazing time, we booked king size room with ocean view which was stunning way to wake up every morning. We loved everything about this place but first of all people, they were all so welcoming, nice and friendly that you really feel like you are a member of their family, the way they take care of things starting from the smallest inconvinent ones to help you organiza a whole 7 day activity trip. Everyone is so friendly, warm and truly makes you feel like you are valuable. Biggest thanks to Mr.Khamis who was there with a smile every day and making sure we have everything, not only just towards us but towards other guest, the way he creates bond and really participates in your wishes is truly a remark of a person who loves his job and is doing it spotlessly. It's very easy to organize trips and activities around Zanzibar and probably the fastest and easiest way is to do it over the hotel. The price was decent and worth everything we saw and experienced, some activities we even decided to repeat. Food in Alladin is amazing, we mostly ate seafood and fruits and everything was so fresh and delicious, breakfast has great options and for lunch or dinner you can have a great meal, coctkails were amazing too, they don't spare on details! The only bad thing was that we had to leave this paradise and go back to reality, other than that if you wish to escape into a secret paradise eden then this is the best choice, we will for sure come back again!
