Very friendly staff, good breakfast and perfect location

Very calming bungalow right next to a beautiful, less traversed beach. Windows allow for a great breeze and with the mosquito netting and fan, we slept very comfortably. Location is beautiful and serene with easy access to Pingwe and Michamvi beaches, and staff are so lovely and proactive. Wifi and facilities are great. The place is very neatly maintained.

What a lovely stay we had in Karanga Bungalows We loved the place so much that we extended twice It's far from the crowds and so relaxing, you can reach the beach after 5mins walk The owner is so kind, helped us with everything, breakfast is simple but has all you need and is served directly onto your veranda. The room is so big and was lovely decorated with flowers. Has also a mosquito net. The bed is the most comfortable one we had in Zanzibar. There are a lot of mosquitos, so bring repellant.

Isaac was a really nice host. The room was really good (spacious, big bathroom, good bed, nice terras with hammock). We wanted to stay two nights, but ended up staying for four. We even saw a bush baby on the property.

There are daily power cuts, but we didn`t mind. During an evening power cut you can chill on the terras or enjoy a lovely evening at Migomba restaurant (3 min walk).

This bungalow is amazing!! One of the best accommodations I stayed at. It's like paradise. The surroundings are amazing. Very quiet, relaxed and green. Next to the beach. The bungalow has everything and more. Relaxing terrace with a hammock, huge bed and a lot of space around. The staff is also very nice and helpful. They prepared breakfast to go for me because I had to leave at 6am. I really can recommend staying there. With the motorbike you come easily to the other side, Pingwe, if you want to snorkel or the famous restaurant The Rock. From the main street you can take the bus to Stone Town (thru Paje).

Keine Fensterscheiben, daher hört man die Nachbarn und sie dich. Hat mich aber nicht gestört.

It was a lovely little bungalow with a private terasse where we could enjoy our breakfast. The people were nice and the service was great, we were able to check in early, leave our bags after check out and even use the bathroom of the room after checkout. They also got us a taxi for the next place. We had a great stay❤️

Everything, the staff was so kind and helpful. The room was always clean. I would say the breakfast was excellent every day. We had great fruits like mango, banana, pineapple, passion fruit, all the local fruits. Quite an experience.

Amazing staff. Isaac is a great host, always helpful and nice. Beautiful bungalows away of mass tourism and crowds and 5 mins walk to the beach. Breakfast was really good, huge portions and variety.

Wifi needs improvement, but it was not essential for me tbh

Karanga Bungalows meet your expectations if you are looking for a private hideaway in a genuine beach proximity setting, away from mass tourism or package tour folks. The nights are calm, secure and peaceful.

There is an adjacent bar where loud music is playing in the evenings and some clients misbehave at times when they had too much to drink.
