We stayed in the pool access adults only rooms and they were fantastic. Very spacious with a really comfortable bed, and seating area, plus balcony with a sun lounger. We stayed in both an upper and ground floor room, and preferred the upper floor. The location was also great, a bit out of central Ao Nang so very peaceful. We hired a scooter from the hotel and could easily get to the main centre in 5 mins. Staff were very helpful.

The main pool area was a little cramped, and always very busy. The spa was nice but quite expensive, you can get massages in Ao Nang at similar standard spa’s for much cheaper.

The hotel was lovely, our family room had no view but it had bunk beds which the children loved. The pool is beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful. I needed to make a Zoom call on night and they gave me a great meeting room which was greatly appreciated. If you're traveling with a car the location is great and you can avoid the massive crowds of Ao Nang beach.

The wifi wasn't 100. Breakfast was nice but could have been better, especially the coffee. The toilet room was very small and not suitable for tall people :) But these are all very minor

There was nothing not to like.

There was nothing not to like about the property. The only things that was extremely disappointing was that we did a wash service and all our clothes got ruined. After hours of fighting they agreed on paying for our clothes the morning that we left. We came to the desk and there was a small woman crying her eyes out because she needed to pay over 250 euro’s. Apparently the hotel outsourced the washing service and let the small business owner pay for all the damage and they made sure that we saw everything. We eventually choose not to take the money because we can afford to loose it and she couldn’t. The total damage was over 500 euro’s. We hope that the insurance will cover it but this is a very bad look for the hotel. Shame.

Loved the pool area, sauna (extra cost) and plant based restaurant across the road. The staff were all very nice & helpful.

The room was very overpriced. We stayed in better hotels in Thailand for a lot less money. There was no wardrobe in our room, just a small clothes rail. For a suite in a 5 star hotel this was quite poor.

Anana was an exceptional place to stay for us. We spent 5 nights there and made friends with 1 other couple and a solo traveler. And we ended up seeing each other frequently after! Our check-in was smooth and we highly recommend renting out a scooter ($9/day) as this would allow you to take regular trips to Ao Nang beach (7 minutes) or the supermarkets without worrying about the shuttle schedule (shuttle leaves to Ao Nang beach once every hour). Not to mention that scooting around is one of the coolest activities we did! It really allows you to discover the area from a different perspective. With that out of the way, Anana is this calm place where you can really take things at your own pace, but it's not too calm that you feel you're alone there, and that's something to like as there's a wonderful vibe at the pool, especially when the sun is setting and everyone's grabbing drinks at the pool bar. If you feel like relaxing in the pool with nothing but the sounds of nature, I recommend taking a dip a little after 6 PM once everyone leaves to prepare for their evening night out. I just sat there for 20 minutes wandering and enjoying the peace, it really is a special feeling. The pool bar closes at 6 PM and the gathering after that happens at the rooftop bar/resto where you can enjoy the sunset. The rooftop is yet another special place in Anana and you can feel an air of enjoyment and peace while you dine with your significant other or continue sipping on those awesome cocktails (highly recommend the pina colada)

Communicating in English was sometimes a bit tough, especially if you're trying to get a food recommendation from the waiter or explaining something a bit complex to reception. However we still recommend taking a genuine interest in the staff and their lives as they'll make a similar effort to communicate with you and learn about your life as well - granted you will be greeted with an even bigger smile next time you see them. I spent a good time chatting with Kit, Natmee, Chuk The food was excellent but I personally felt that it wasn't always consistent (I had the stir fry chicken twice and it was much better the first time around). It's also a bit on the high end price wise, but remember that you're in a 5-star hotel, so average food prices outside will be lower.

Gorgeous hotel, the design is stunning, we stayed in an adults only pool access room, and loved it. Attention to detail from the fiddler, the bamboo drying rack, the black sliding crittall doors, the rattan bed head. loved it. very European. Huge room, loads of salads, lovely bathroom and amazing shower. hotel is a little out of the centre of town, which we loved. As the town is a little crazy! They run a shuttle to and from town that’s free which is amazing so no problems getting back and forth, takes 10 mins. Lovely pool and pool area, dark tiles in both the pools which make it super chic. swim up bar in the main pool too, plenty of choice for cocktails and happy hours every day. Super helpful staff, Wolfgang the owner is on hand to make sure everything runs smoothly, and the ladies at the activities desk are super helpful, they helped organise a few island trips and a cooking course which we highly recommend. Breakfast was good, egg station, etc the usual. They could probably up their coffee game for a 5 star hotel but it’s not a reason to not stay there! Make sure you go to the restaurant behind the hotel, ‘Tee in the Jungle’ an absolute gem of a find, just read her Google reviews. A little family run restaurant, the food is incredible! we went 3 times, lunch and dinner. we were in Thailand 3 weeks and this was some of the best food we ate. Very authentic.

We would definitely stay again, but felt for a 5 star hotel the gym is not up to scratch. It’s very small. But on this visit, you can work with what’s in there for a small workout but there was no aircon, no towels or spray to clean the machines, and it wasn’t very clean. So we didn’t use it the whole time. Shame really for such a great hotel. But this is something easily fixed.

Location was very nice and quiet with very nice rooftop. Far from the crowds from Ao Nang Beach, but with the transfer you could get easily there. Breakfast was amazing with a lot of options and the staff was very friendly. We also got a better room than we booked. That was also very spacious with an amazing view.

More transfers would be nice.

I had an amazing stay at the Anana Ecological Resort in Krabi! The resort's atmosphere, location, and breathtaking views from the room were absolutely delightful. The pool access suites were spacious and exceptional in every way. The resort also offers complimentary shuttle service every hour to the main city and back too. I would highly recommend the resort to others, and suggest they consider adding more vegan and vegetarian breakfast choices to enhance the overall experience.

My only disappointment was the limited vegan options at breakfast, which only included potato wedges. For guests staying for longer durations, having potato wedges everyday is not very feasible.

Beautiful space. Incredible staff. Lovely breakfast. They all went above and beyond. In fact they upgraded my room so I had a bath tub in it. The tub was huge :) Shuttle service was excellent. On the mornings I left early and missed breakfast…they had a ‘take out’ breakfast for me. Get the early bird trip to the Phi Phi Islands from there…it won’t disappoint.

They was a rogue hair hanging off one of the dressing gowns when I arrived in my room…I couldn’t then shake the feeling that it hadn’t been washed. I have ‘eagle eyes’ and I’m not sure anyone else would have noticed.

Absolute Paradise – Best Stay Ever! Staying at Anana Ecological Resort in Krabi was an unforgettable experience and easily one of the best hotels I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome set the tone for an incredible stay. The staff went above and beyond (special thanks to Hasan, Keith, and the entire team, who were nothing short of amazing). Their attention to detail, kindness, and professionalism made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely phenomenal: every meal was a delight, reflecting both the quality and creativity of the culinary team. Dining at the rooftop on the 7th floor was a highlight, offering breathtaking views that perfectly complemented the experience. We were lucky enough to have a room with direct access to the pool, which added an extra touch of luxury to our stay. Everything about the resort exudes thoughtfulness and care, making it clear that guest satisfaction is their top priority.
