Hotel Review: Aree Tara Resort We had a great stay at Aree Tara Resort and would happily recommend it to other families. Check-In & Service: We booked the hotel at 10am on the day of arrival and called to request early check-in. The staff were incredibly helpful and had us in our room within an hour—amazing service after leaving a disappointing hotel. Staff throughout our stay were friendly and responsive. Room & Amenities: The room was clean and spacious, with a large bed that easily fit me and two kids. The smart QLED TV was neatly wall-mounted with no visible cords. The aircon is ducted with a wall thermostat—personally, I prefer a remote, but it worked well. Bathroom & Shower: The bathroom was clean with a good toilet and bath. The shower had excellent pressure, heat, and duration, but it did leak onto the floor, so towels were needed after each use. Facilities: Pool: Clean, well-shaded, and great temperature. Easy to open your eyes underwater (which indicates not excessive chlorine). In-room safe: Worked perfectly. No interconnecting rooms, but we were given rooms next to each other which worked well. Local Area: Great location—7-Eleven is a 1-minute walk away, and there are plenty of laundry facilities, travel agents, food options, weed shops, and bike rentals nearby. The Ao Nang Landmark night markets are just a 10-minute stroll, even with kids, and well worth a visit for the food. Overall: Clean, comfortable, great service, and everything you need close by. The Booking.com photos are accurate, and we were very happy with our stay.

The staff were very accomodating, we got to Krabi early so they allowed us to store our luggage in the lobby while we explored. They also had island tour staff where we booked our kayaking. Aircon was great, beds were soft like marshmallows and the pool facilities was just great. House keeping was prompt and they always refreshed our water bottles. Really appreciated the smaller details like the grape juice they would put out in the PM at the lobby

Room service was advertised 11am-7pm however when we rang at 11am they said 12pm… we went to front reception and they ordered for us. Wasn’t a fan of the room service once it arrived and wish the breakfast was from 6am-10am however we didn’t try the breakfast as the room service wasn’t the best. Lots of food places around and close to a 7 eleven so this didn’t matter.

The breakfast was nice, they had a lot of different options to meet peoples needs. The staff at breakfast, the cleaners and the guys who helped with our bags on arrival were very helpful. The best thing was they organised a honeymoon decoration including coconuts as welcome drinks which was a lovely touch to out honeymoon. It was very special

There is a gang of tuk tuk driver that monopolise of the area around the hotels refusing any other taxi service to pick anyone up. Because of this it took us 1.5hr for a taxi and we missed our bus back to Phuket and it was a huge inconvenience. BEW WARNED WHEN LEAVING. They want you to use their service which is super expensive and less comfortable. We were actually followed and accosted by these tuk tuk drivers and they took pictures of us and the car we ended up getting into. So traumatising considering our taxi driver was a PREGNANT WOMAN.

Very friendly personnel. Everyone was very helpful and always smiling. The breakfast was very diverse and good quality. The pool was rarely busy.

The photos for marketing done very professionally. The place looks very exclusive and luxury on the photos. In reality, it was still high quality, but not extra luxurious or super exclusive. Everything was still very nice though.

Spacious interleading rooms with comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent. Very convenient location for doing trips and going out and about in Ao Nang. Good value for money. Close to restaurants, night market, easy to get tuk tuks outside and 7-11 and laundry closeby.

Small pool area with few sun loungers, but not an issue as we were well located for exploring and this is a perfect hotel with interleading rooms for the kids. Very good value.

We had been travelling for 3 weeks, and compared to the other places this really hit the spot. Room was nice,bed big and comfy,blackout curtains and quiet. Good aircon. Small things like a glass to hold toothbrushes and shelves to put your stuff made things comfortable! Staff were always kind, and breakfast was great. We hired a scooter for two days and all went fine. I'd stay again. To note:if you need to do laundry, don't use the place right across from the hotel which charges 2-3 times the amount, just turn right and go to the end of the street and place on the left corner!

Lovely staff who were helpful and happy. The hotel is around 10 minutes from the beach. The pool is nice - tends to be shaded though and not many sun beds. The hotel is close to the main drag of Ao Nang where there are plenty of restaurants, alot of which are Indian. The breakfast is super. The staff are lovely. The hotel is clean. There are towels available for the pool. Worth a go - Take a long boat to Raily beach. The Phi Phi island tour. The outdoor food market is around 3/4 mile from the hotel. If you like running, the hotel to the national park is around 3 miles there and back. It’s a lovely run along the beachfront. Very safe abs you’ll see lots of runners. All in all, the hotel is a good base for exploring.

The staff were fantastic, the location was excellent (restaurants & shops on your doorstep, beach and night market a short, pleasant walk away), the food was wonderful (possibly best Pad Thai I have ever had, definitely best mango smoothie I ever had), breakfast is good, rooms were comfortable (especially the beds!), the pool was lovely and a nice place to hang out in the heat.

There were a few places around reception and pool area that were trip hazards as there were towels on the floor here & there to avoid wet floors, also a couple of not very visible steps in the pool area (we tripped a couple of times). The shower in one of our rooms leaked all over the bathroom floor because the seal on the door was gone. A/C in the rooms was noisy but that might not bother everyone.

The location was great , just a few minutes walk from the beach and the strip of restaurants and bars , the pool was lovely and I couldn’t get over how lovely my room was I was not expecting it , I extended my stay here three times the beds were so comfy and great value for money

I wish the pool stayed open a bit later but to be fair I did see them cleaning it every single night
