We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and can’t recommend it enough! The rooms were exceptionally clean, the internet was super fast and everything we needed for a comfortable stay was available—from a spacious room to great amenities. What really stood out to us, though, was the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. They went above and beyond to organise our ferry tickets to Phi Phi at a great price, which made everything so easy and stress-free. On the day of our checkout, I unfortunately came down with a case of food poisoning (from a meal elsewhere), and the team were incredibly understanding. They helped us reschedule the ferry and even allowed us to stay past the check-out time so I could rest and recover a bit—something we were truly grateful for. Thank you to the entire team for your kindness and support during our stay. We’d happily return and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting!

We have stayed at Ben's House before and decided to come back again. After an initial mix up with rooms, we were moved to the room we booked! The upper storey rooms are smaller, and have been refurbished. We had a room with a balcony and a view on the top floor. We loved the sunset views. We used the pool a couple of times. There's nowhere to sit outside, but the fact it's even there is a piece of engineering. The rooms were regularly cleaned. As we were there for an extended stay, once every 2/3 days was fine. Leave the sign on the door and if was done. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

There isn't a lift, so great for fitness 😀

The staff was very nice and welcoming, also very helpful with bookings and other information. It is kind of tucked away from the main road, which was good, but that it meant to walk a bit to get to the centre. There are shops, restaurants and basically everything that you need very near and the beach is also very near. We could leave our stuff there as we have arrived before the checking time, which was also very helpful. There is also a swimming pool, though the water is a bit cold.

There wasn't really much that we didn't like. Breakfast would have been nice I guess.

Great value for money. Hotel is a little old, but it is very clean and comfortable. Personel is nice. Room was spacious, beds are really comfortable. Good location, you can go on foot to the beach and longtail boats. There are lot of restaurants nearby. Hotel has nice swimming pool, where you can relax and cool down after hot day.

Conveniently located and kind staff. They provide glass bottles in each room that can be refilled. Good air conditioning.

The room was small and not many amenities were provided. At night, the room couldn’t really be completely dark because of outside light fixtures and lack of curtains in the bathroom. The pillows were very lumpy and uncomfortable.

If only we had more time, we would have stayed here for even longer (we stayed 4 nights). The room was big and clean. The bathroom as well. There is a closet, tv, hot shower, nice reading light at the bed. The beds were very comfortable. We booked a room without a window, but we ended up getting a window anyway! The pool is very nice (a bit cold but refreshing), we were in there once a day to cool off. It is a short distance to a 7-eleven. For dinner the kodam kitchen is closeby (best thai food ever). Downstairs you can get boiling water and still water for free and the staff was helpful. Would 100% stay here again.

Only downside is no elevator but this is no biggie.

We had a room with a balcony. The room is a decent size with plenty of storage. The balcony faces towards the sunset, which is a bonus and means it is sunny late afternoon. The staff are really friendly and helpful. We didn't use the pool as we prefer the beach. It is small and has no seating, but hey, it's a pool at a low cost hotel! The hotel is set back from the road. The area overlooked from the balcony is also quiet. There is easy walking access to beaches, bars restaurants etc. First properly hot room shower we've had in SE Asia

Rooms could use a coat of paint in places. Aircon is built in and could be quieter.

Room was comfortable and a good size. Staff friendly and helpful.. It was close by everything but not noisy. Pool was refreshing but a bit difficult getting in and out

Lots of stairs, no elevator. Doors were loud to close and our room could use a new toilet.

Good value for money, location was excellent walking distance to the main strip and the staff were friendly and helpful

The water in the bathroom sink is very weak, view from the balcony is as budget as it gets but hey definitely beats a hostel
