Triple room was spacious, comfy bed, quiet. Nice to be provided with daily water and complimentary tea/coffee. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options - thoroughly enjoyed it every day! Staff were really helpful and friendly. Really excellent value for money.

A minor point but smart TV didn’t work as expected. Initially it wasn’t working at all so staff replaced it quickly (thank you!), however we then couldn’t log into Netflix and the remote didn’t seem to work reliably. We were able to watch YouTube instead though. The glass wall between the bathroom and the bedroom is something we weren’t used to. It can be covered by closing a curtain but just something to be aware of!

Room was pretty comfy, with good bed and ac. The bathroom is good and clean. They also have a huge breakfast. Really recommend.

The owner and staff here is very friendly and nice!!!!!!!!!The room is big and clean,inside room have a bathtub and balcony. I am very impressed I can stay here for a reasonable and cheaper pricing compare with other hotel in Krabi. Some more our room rate is included breakfast😱😱This is the 3rd times I stayed here. Surely will come back here again when I come Krabi.

Very spacious room, with lots of natural light and a balcony with a view to the mountains and sunset. The staff was lovely, the lady at the reception had always a big smile. The breakfast was also really good, and the location is perfect to enjoy Ao Nang.

The bathroom needs a bit of a deep clean (door and walls had some stains that could be removed).

The dorm rooms are very well designed, featuring individual lights, plugs, and shelves for each guest. Rooms are equipped with hangers, a table and chairs, and high-quality curtains to ensure a good night's sleep. The breakfast is exceptional, boasting a variety of options such as fruit, pastries, toast, muesli, yoghurt, eggs, rice dishes, and more, served from 7:30 to 10:30, guests have plenty of time to enjoy a delicious meal to start their day. The owners and staff are truly wonderful, providing exceptional hospitality to all guests. To top everything off, the adorable little dog (Boss) who is usually in the bar in the evenings, will make your stay!! The location is fantastic, two minutes walk to everything, beach, 7 - 11, market and more!

Exceptionally clean, and it's kept clean all the time. Very attentive, caring, professional and friendly people are running the place, you'll see the difference. People who are staying are respectful to others, and in-room etiquette, 2 am door slamming, loud laughing or chatting never happened during my stay which I extended. Next door is a bar&restaurant (with a terrace, you don't hear any sound in the stay area) and breakfast is served there, it's an open buffet and is no less than a paid one outside. Great location, walking distance to the beach, ferry/boat to other beaches and islands, the main street where everything happens day and night.

Showers may use a little touch and renovation, but not a big issue.

We were surprised! Hard to believe that the property was a hostel. The physical space was well laid out with small restaurant and bar and comfortable seating at the entrance, and although located just off a main street, it was calm and quiet. Upstairs, there were 2 or 3 floors of private rooms, with balconies and a nice view over the city; and downstairs, several levels of "hostel" rooms that also looked over the city. The free breakfast was minimal, but adequate and there are many restaurants, coffee shops and bars in the area and all the way down to the beach area. The town is a very loud, busy and bulging with tourists. Good to get back to the calm of the iRest!

Not much to not like, but maybe the front desk could have been a little more personable. However the general staff, bar tender, waitress were very nice

There are two iRest locations in Ao Nang, so make sure you’re heading to the right one! This particular hostel is just a short walk from the main beach, Ao Nang food market, restaurants, and the pier, making it really convenient for exploring the area. The staff at reception are friendly, polite, and helpful, which made check-in and any inquiries smooth. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast - it was absolutely delicious, and I’m not usually an early riser when it comes to breakfast, but they made me set an alarm to make sure I didn’t miss it! The property itself is spacious, quiet, and very clean. I never had any issues with noise, and the common areas were well-maintained. Unfortunately, during my stay, there was a water shortage in the area, so we couldn’t use the bathroom for a while, but the hostel acted quickly to resolve the issue, which I appreciated. The mattress was a little on the firm side, but it was clean and comfortable enough. The pillows and sheets were also fresh. Additionally, the hostel offers laundry services at a really good price, which was a nice convenience. Overall, I had a great stay at iRest Ao Nang, and I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a clean, quiet place with a great location and friendly service!

While my stay was overall great, there were a few things that could be improved. I stayed in a 4-bed shared room, and one thing that really bothered me was a meter/clock inside the room that kept ticking 24/7. The constant "tic-tac" was a VERY annoying, Another point was the bathroom - it could have been cleaned more frequently throughout the day. While it was kept tidy overall, it did feel like it needed a bit more attention during busier times. Also no hot water. Lastly, I think the hostel could make better use of the attached restaurant to provide activities for guests. It’s a great space that could be turned into a hub for socializing, games, or even organizing group meals or events, which would really improve the experience.

- No curtains on the bed - really makes it difficult to sleep early when you’re on the top bunk and the lights are on:.. even with an eye mask! - 2 out of 4 toilets were out of order during my stay - really not enough toilets for the amount of people here - toilet paper was constantly running out and we needed to go ask staff for more - lockers are tiny - no space for your bag
