Loved the rooms and the swimming area to relax. The rooms are spacious and clean and so is the washroom. They give ample bottles of drinking water without charging which is really great. Their hospitality is indeed great as they helped us with the booking in the mini van to drop us to krabi airport. Plus, it's located in the much hyped area of Ao Nang Beach. There are beaches on both sides of the hotel. Highly recommend it.

They should allow checkout with a margin of atleast an hr without charging.

So, it’s ok. The staff were really kind and we were provided with 2 bottles of water everyday. Breakfast was nice aside from seeing a swarm of flies on the uncovered diced tomatoes for the omelette station. This was an okay stay. You can see (and hear) that they’re renovating so hopefully some changes are underway

The bed was HARD and some paint was chipping due to water damage… at one point, water leaked from the floor when you stepped on it. We also heard something crawling on the roof (or in the walls) one night… (can’t leave leftovers out overnight) This was an okay stay. We hadn't realised AoNang was such a big and busy place, so we felt lucky we'd chosen Timber House. The location was excellent, just a short walk up from the first beach - so it was easy to walk down to catch the longboats, or to walk down in the evening to the big night market and food complex. The room was big and comfortable, the pool was a bonus although we only used it for a couple of hours one afternoon. Breakfast was excellent - with plenty of choice, although as most guests were western they could have increased the western options to include things like muesli, baked beans daily rather than occasionally.

Just a little attention to detail could make such a lot of difference - eg, clean the windows in the restaurant, improve the western breakfast offerings, tidy the car park area and pick up litter and rubbish around the hotel

Although the hotel was next to a bigger road, our room wasn't noisy because of the traffic. We also liked the beautiful swimming pool in the garden, and the fact that our balcony was just a few meters away from the pool - we could easily get into the water :) The hotel placement was also good, lot of restaurants, shops and a market nearby, plus the beach was also not too far (cca. 10 minutes of walking).

Some more wardrobes would have been nice in our room, we could not pack out all of our clothes from our suitcases. Also the controller of the air conditioning was not straightforward to use, but the AC unit itself was quite effective.

The hotel is quite near to the beach, shops, 7E & eateries, pharmacies, night market, about 5-7 mins walking and still it’s a quiet area. Also can take Tuk Tuk, in general they charged around 100 THB. Halal food is also easy to find near the hotel. Hotel staff especially in the restaurant are very nice & polite.

The lights along the sidewalk from the reception area to the room are quite dim at night. The restaurant that served breakfast is quite warm. More fans would be nice.

The hotel is exceptionally well located for walking to the night life and the beaches. Our room was huge and the wooden floor was a joy to walk on! Very helpful and friendly staff. The daily room service was above and beyond what we required but it was a pleasure to return to a clean and tidy room with fresh towels every day. Great swimming pool.

The breakfast room wasn't open to the outdoors but the breakfast was really good with something for everyone.

We liked the size of the rooms, location was perfect, pool was great with lots of loungers & shade. Staff were lovely and very helpful, obtaining a wheelchair from sister hotel for duration of our stay. Great place to convalesce. AC stayed on so you always came back to a cold room 😊

They were having some trouble keeping the pool clean but there was an another pool across the road we could use.

The room was really nice and spacious. Had all the things you needed. Staff was super lovely and helpful. There’s always cleaning ladies coming to clean your room in the morning which is nice. The breakfast in the morning is very good with a lot of different options. Location is perfect. Is near everything, walking distance from beach, markets etc Overall very happy with my stay.

Great location between both beaches. The staff went out of their way to make our trip enjoyable. Nice big clean rooms. Good pool area with lots of seating and umbrellas. Breakfast was very good.

Some of the facilities need updating but this was expected for a three star hotel. It did represent excellent value for money. All beds in Thailand are quite hard. This was to be expected.

-Friendly staff and helpful, my friend and I didn't sleep well on our first night as the AC was too loud after we informed receptionist she sent someone to fix while we were on islands tour, a receptionist changed a room for us. -Great location nearby night markets - near 7-11 - lovely swimming pools - not too far from the beach front - clean room -Wifi os strong

- not too many options of breakfast but all delicious, cashew nuts chicken, Loei mien , breads and egg station with coffee and tea a lady who is working in this zone is very friendly, she is the only person making everything and delicious breakfast
