Great pools, good gym, lovely staff, comfortable rooms, tasty food

Beautiful room, comfy bed, private beach

Hotel itself very beautiful but isolated, there was nothing around, you need to take shuttle bus(cost money) to closest town or to Khao Lak center to restaurants and bars, food at hotel quite disappointed was not up to Pullman standards.

Actually we took the hotel shuttle from Phuket airport to the hotel and everything was running smoothly. The driver was already waiting for us in the arrival hall wir our name and ride was smoothly. During the arrival at the hotel a welcome drink was offered to us with a refreshing towel. Pretty nice to start with. After some general introduction and the key card handover, we were guided to the hotel room. Unfortunately the room was located directly infront of the main air condition machine, which causes a lot of noise inside the room. After one short talk to the front desk lady, Jee Gin, she understood the concern and directly offered two alternative rooms in the same category. Within 2h the room was ready and we moved to the new room. We are 2 adults and 2 kids. The family room is perfectly designed for a family, even with older ones, as u can separate the kids room completely from adults. Best room design I ever seen in a hotel for families. The area of the hotel is as well super nicely designed. It has a long pool with different heights and also a kids club, which operates from 10-18 o'clock. The kids really enjoyed the time there and were happy about games, drawings etc the stuff was doing with them. The beach is awesome and completely without annoying water sport activities. Just good to relax. The beach bar play some relaxing club sounds, but not too noisy. Also you get a digital assistant for your room, which is super confident, if you need something to order or have any complains. This also worked perfect. Coming from the digital assistant to the real stuff. Especially one lady in the front desk, Jee Gin, took so much care about us. This is what you expect the treatment in a 5 star Resort to be! No matter if we had question or just want to have a chat, she always understood to take time for her guests. Sometimes the people make the difference. In our case it was her. The resort should be really happy to have her on board 👍🏻

The staff at the bar was pretty poor in English.

The kids facilities are great! Very nice place if you come to relax, enjoy the resort with a very nice infinity pool as well. The spa is very nice and the herbal workshop is also nice to make your own herbal inhaler. The staff is very friendly and especially our housekeeper. We like the gym programme a lot. Tai chi is very good. Breakfast area is very nice and a lot of choices.

The location of the resort is a bit far away from everything. So if you want to go out, you need a taxi for everything. If you intend just to relax and enjoy the hotel, it is a very good choice. The Thai food offered at the beach place could be better. Not really authentic Thai food and the taste is just okay. I would try other places to eat such as Mu-Te-Lay which is very nearby. Don't walk just take a bike or the taxi tuk tuk.

Nice and fresh hotel with good places for everyone, especially for kids. The beach was really nice and the breakfast buffet was everything we could possibly ask for. We also liked the theme nights in the dinner restaurant.

We did miss sun beds at the beach and the staff at the beach side restaurant were too busy most of the time. Since there was a lack of restaurants in the neighborhood or at the beach we did miss a variety in food during lunch time since the restaurant close to the beach had the same menu everyday.

I recently returned to Pullman Khao Lak for a 2 night business trip, and once again, the experience was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the team made me feel genuinely welcomed. A special mention to Khun Lisa at check-in — her warm hospitality and efficiency truly set the tone for my stay. Although I booked an entry-level room, it was impressively spacious — far larger than what you'd typically find in similar hotels. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night, and the breakfast spread was outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious options to suit every palate. Thank you to the Pullman Khao Lak team for another fantastic stay. I look forward to returning soon!

One small point to note is that the parking area is quite limited and located outdoors, which means it can be a bit challenging during peak times. I rented a car from Phuket Airport and drove to Khao Lak, and during my stay, the parking was often full. When it rained, it was a little inconvenient having to walk to and from the car. That said, the hotel does offer a helpful golf cart service for pick-up and drop-off from the parking area, which made things much easier and is truly appreciated.

- the staff is really kind and friendly. very professional. - hotel facilities are amazing and room design espectacular - hotel is brand new - breakfast is really good and the restaurants offer really good dishes at reasonable prices (even if you are far from other restaurants outside the hotel, the prices of the hotel restaurants are really good, and the food quality is really good too, which we really appreciated). - water sports equipment for free - amazing gym My birthday was during my stay. Nothing to complain about. It was a great stay. I just would have prefered to have no music by the beach and enjoy the quietness of the place, after all that's why we chose this location, to be far from the mass tourism in a quiet place.

So clean and lovely rooms. We had the family suite for 2 adults and 13 and 9 year old. Room was massive! Very happy, friendly staff, great location! Literally on an amazing beach with hardly anyone on it! I counted 15 people on the beach as far as I could see! Lovely pool and swim up bar. There are some on the beach food places if you walk along the beach to the right if you fancy a change. We hired a car from Phuket airport and had travelled around. Khao lak is a great, less busy location. Good base to go and explore kho sok national park which is around 1 hour lovely, scenic drive. Then around half hour south of khao lak is towns to explore markets and the tsunami memorial and turtle sanctuary. This was a little luxury for us for 3 night to end our trip. Would definitely come back!

This is not a negative as everything was great. But I think some would find it a little isolated. You may need a car or taxi to get to places. Not much within walking distance. But that was a positive for us after the hustle and bustle of Phuket and Koh Samui!

Hotel is new, modern with great facilities for kids and families in general (pool areas, water activities, kids club), rooms are very nice and comfortable.

A lot of the staff across all functions (reception, kids club, restaurants, etc.) just don't speak English which can get very frustrating. There is practically nothing to do outside the hotel within walking distance or even below 20 minutes local taxi ride. Beach bar service is very slow, there's always at least one item wrong in an order or just delayed 20 minutes from the rest of the food. We stayed in a no meals plan and there are basically zero alternatives around to the hotel restaurants (which gets really boring) would probably be a better experience with their all inclusive plans
