We absolutely loved this hotel! It’s incredibly beautiful, with stunning architecture and a lush, green territory that feels like a true escape. Everything is designed in traditional Thai style—wooden buildings with intricate carvings. It was a real aesthetic pleasure just to walk around and take it all in every day. The beach and the sea were also wonderful—clean, calm, and with very few people, which made it feel peaceful and exclusive. As for the service, I really appreciated that the staff weren’t overly attentive or intrusive, but every request we had was handled quickly and efficiently. It struck a perfect balance—quiet, respectful service with everything taken care of. One particularly convenient feature was that we didn’t need to carry money around the hotel. Everything could be charged to the room, and then we simply settled the bill at the end of our stay—super convenient. I had read some reviews where people complained about the restaurant or the lack of places nearby. In my opinion, the restaurant is perfectly fine. It’s not gourmet-level, but breakfast offers everything you might need, and the lunch and dinner options are decent. And while the restaurant might be a bit basic for longer stays, it’s definitely not true that there’s “nothing nearby.” Within a 10–20 minute taxi ride, there are plenty of small local places to eat, and we tried a few that were excellent. There’s even a Michelin-starred restaurant about 20 minutes away if you’re in the mood for a fancier evening out. Plus, some neighboring hotels are within walking distance and have decent restaurants too—so there’s definitely no issue diversifying your meals if you want to. All in all, I had the best experience. The sea was warm and calm during our stay, the beach was spotless, the grounds were immaculately maintained, and the overall atmosphere was just amazing. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!

We loved everything

The national Thai architecture is unique and marvellous, my mom took picture of every wall of the hotel. You can enjoy live traditional Thai music during breakfast. Our suite was enormously spacious with 2 separate bedrooms, private pool and huge living room. Nobody can see you. There was also the sofa in the living room that could be used as extra bed. The territory is shady and green, a lot of banana trees, red carps and turtles are swimming in the stream.

The territory is divided into three parts by the road (beach and the restaurant on the one side and the living area on the opposite side, the parking lot is about 500 m away from the lobby). It is not very convenient especially if you travel with small children. The public pool is not shady and therefore diffucult to use during the day. The buildings made of wood do have its own disadvantages: there are a lot of insects (ants and mosquitos) inside, it makes noises at night. There are a lot of stairs and steps in the territory so it was a challenge to walk through with the stroller. The staff was very helpful, thank them a lot.

The staff, especially Kent and Mam from the restaurant and Josh, Noi and Nek from the spa were exceptional. Special mention goes to Josh from the spa who was very attentive and Kent from the restaurant who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. We loved the timberwork on the buildings, the pools were lovely and the staff were excellent.

The beach was very dirty, full of plastic in the water and on the shore. The staff did do a big clean up of the shore each morning, but I would not swim int he ocean here. We went to 5 differnt beaches in thailand they all were very dirty.

The property is amazing. Stunning location set on the beach. Rooms massive. A little pricey in the bar and restaurant but not excessive, still marginally cheaper than you would pay in the UK. Internet in resort was good.

All the menus, both food and drinks are all via a QR code that you need to download to a phone. Call me old fashioned but can’t beat a proper menu.

Hotel Review I had a great stay at this hotel, which beautifully resembles a traditional Thai temple. It feels like stepping into a lush jungle, surrounded by greenery and nature, which adds a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The room itself was impressive—very large, spacious, and entirely made of wood, decorated with intricate Thai motifs. I also loved the interior garden, which features a pool and sun loungers, creating the perfect spot to unwind. Overall, this hotel offers an immersive Thai experience with its stunning design, tranquil gardens, and spacious rooms. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing stay.

What I Didn’t Like While the hotel itself was stunning, there were a few aspects that could be improved. The food at the restaurant was a bit disappointing. I’ve had better Thai food elsewhere, and the breakfast, in particular, was not very tasty or diverse. The biggest letdown? They didn’t have mango at breakfast, which was surprising given how common and delicious it is in Thailand. Another downside was the pricing of the services. Many of them were quite expensive, and I found similar services nearby or online for much better prices. It felt like you were paying a premium just for convenience rather than quality. Overall, while the hotel itself was beautiful and the experience was great, the food and service pricing could definitely be improved.

This is an incredible place to stay, the resort is chic and boutique. The gardens and grounds are impressive and gorgeous with tropical plants and amazingly well maintained gardens. The staff are super nice and the beach is pristine, vast and quiet. The pools are ginormous and the spa service and treatments are increíble. The villas are absolutely huge and beautiful with private pool and sun loungers.

The hotel does not have steam room sauna etc and the spa latest appointment is 4pm. The resort is self contained so You may want to venture out in a taxi if staying a week or more. The location is very secluded and peaceful which is fantastic but not near anything to take a walk to.

We had a great time at Santhiya Resort – it exceeded our expectations. All the staff were EXCEPTIONALLY friendly, and the atmosphere felt genuinely warm and welcoming. Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with wooden carvings, a private pool, and an outdoor bathtub under banana trees. It was peaceful in the evenings, with no mosquitoes, so we could enjoy the outdoor space. The beach was clean with soft sand, though the sea was too rough for swimming during the low season. The restaurant served delicious and reasonably priced food, and we especially enjoyed sitting at the beach in the evenings with our feet in the sand. A highlight was the Saturday cultural show with Thai performances and a fire show – a nice surprise that added something very very special to the stay! The main swimming pool was a bonus – much bigger than expected, really XXL with a good temperature, not too cold. The resort grounds were lush and well kept, with wonderful banana trees full of bananas, koi fish, and even a turtle with its own pond area. Overall, Santhiya offers great value for the money and a relaxed, natural environment. A good choice if you're looking for a more traditional Thai experience in a peaceful setting.

Everything was perfect.

Peaceful low-season stay in a quite are north of Phuket on the mainland of Thailand. We stayed at Santhiya Phuket Natai Resort & Spa during the low season, and it was exactly what we needed—quiet, relaxing, and peaceful. The resort and surrounding area were very calm, with very few guests around, which gave it a really tranquil feel. We booked a room + extras deal, which made the stay surprisingly affordable compared to other options nearby. The package included daily resort credit and a combination of buffet and à la carte breakfast, which was simple but tasty and covered everything we needed. The credit went a long way and allowed us to enjoy meals and drinks without worrying about too many extras adding up. The area itself is a little on the remote side, and that’s part of the charm—ideal for a two-night getaway. There isn’t much to do outside the resort, so it’s the kind of place where you settle in and relax rather than go exploring. For us, that worked perfectly. Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and very comfortable. The resort grounds were immaculate, the beach was quiet and clean, and the pool area was never crowded. The staff were absolutely wonderful throughout our stay. A special shoutout to Kent, who was outstanding—he kept the beachfront restaurant running smoothly during lunch and dinner and made us feel genuinely looked after.

The only downside was some staff appeared to have very little hospitality experience on the service side of things. Also the experiences we had with the QR code ordering system used in the restaurants. While it’s a nice idea in theory, it had some limitations—only one device per table could view the menu, which made ordering a bit awkward when dining as a couple or group. It felt a little impersonal and sometimes slowed things down, especially when staff weren’t available to help when errors occurred on the device.

The villa was AMAZING. I could live there. The private pool was big enough for my kids to really play and swim. The living space was giant which we appreciated after weeks of travel and cramped living quarters/ airplanes. Hands down the biggest, more comfortable beds. Everything was clean and the staff was so very nice and always looking to help. We ended up extending our stay and next time, we will plan a much longer stay. The restaurant had the perfect mix of food for my Thai husband and more Americanized children. And the beach was clean and very private. The pool was refreshing and the cabanas weren’t an extra charge and allowed my husband to work remotely by the pool. The fire show was an unbelievable. My kid held fire and made a core memory! And the spa was an extravagant experience at an affordable price.

A fantastic resort with excellent staff . The villa was huge with 2 bedrooms and big swimming pool. The resort is clean, equipped with all facilities Excellent breakfast (la cart was better than the buffet) and the food we ordered in the hotel restaurant was great! I suggest that you will have bicycles for guests who wish to travel around as the resort is far from the center As a guest you need to take into account that the hotel is isolated. Located 40 km from patong Beach, which means that you need to take taxi if you wish to travel around..it cost approximately 2000 baths for round trip.
