The staff were absolutely amazing. They were so kind and helpful. The reception staff were the best we have had in Thailand and we have been here two months. They went above and beyond for us and ensured all our needs were met. Always welcomed on a morning and evening. The rooms were so clean and always smelt amazing when they had been cleaned. Fresh sheets and towels daily. A shower outside the door to ensure you could get sand off you from the beach. Any request we had was met. We originally booked to stay longer in Thailand and to move hotels due to being back packers, we moved to the new hotel and in the same day we moved back to Ricci house. They helped with a taxi there and back to collect our bags from the new hotel. The staff are so attentive and so kind. We was so sad to leave because of how much we loved our time there. They absolutely made our trip to Koh Lipe. It’s a must stay!

Koh Lipe is a busy place, particulary over Chinese NY, so we were lucky to find a 3 night accommodation . Ricci House is perfect location, our bungalow unit was far from road, so quiet. The unit was spacious, clean, huge bed, fridge, teapot, daily housekeeping with water and coffee fixings added. It has kind of an older, classic, resort hotel feel. While pricey for Thai, was good value for Koh Lipe. Nice greet and transport upon boat arrival. The lady at reception (manager?) arranged transfer to Langkawi and had us delivered to ferry area.

This hotel is located in the center of town rather than on the beach. We liked that because it was centrally located to Walking Street and the beaches on both sides of the island. Our room overlooked the street, but was surprisingly quiet. It has modern furnishings with comfortable beds, a mini fridge and the AC worked great. A nice surprise was the pickup and at the pier. Someone shows up with a sign for Ricci Resort and it's complimentary. They also do the same taking you back at the end of your stay, which is very helpful. They took our bags up to the room, left water each day, etc., very gracious people. We'd recommend unless you have your heart set on a waterfront resort.

2-3 times a day the wifi went out for a few minutes, but unless you need it for work it was fine.

Large, comfortable room and bed, equipped with fridge, tea facilities, plenty of towels. On a main street, but only a few steps away from the beach and next to restaurants and supermarkets. A few steps away from Walking Street and the forest route. Staff was very kind and efficient.

The hair dryer is provided and attached to the wall, but it's very low power. The bungalow rooms share the wall. Some of my neighbours were very noisy.

Even though the room had only doors to a small balcony towards an ugly wall ( no other windows), the room thereby could be kept cool, what makes it an advantage! Good aircon, bed, clean bath with spacoious shower. For me it was a good place to stay as beach was in 5 min walking distance. I can recommend. only the price is high compared to other places in Thailand, but thats Ko Lipe. Its so beautiful on the beaches, they simply can ask higher prices…

Amazing stay in Koh Lipe at the Ricci House. Nice complete room (Simple but have all that you need), with a balcony to dry all wet stuff. The location is amazing, close to good restaurants (such as “Noy”), walking street and both patthaya and sunrise beaches. Sunset beach is not that close (i’d say 20min walk maybe), but we took the moto-tuk. Really good value for the money. They also pick-up and drop you on the pier (free). Kim was an amazing host.

This resort is at the furthest end of Walking Street and is surrounded by restaurants and shops, right next to a 7/11. The receptionist was lovely and very helpful. There's a safe in the room with a 500 Bhart refundable key deposit. We were collected from the ferry by motorbike taxi. The room was large, plenty of towels. The balcony had decent chairs and rack.

These are minor niggles: It was very narrow to get around one side of the bed and there were lots of in-house rules and regulations at the resort. Koh Lipe's immigration is very disorganised, so be prepared for a long wait when you first land.

After researching loads of places to stay on the island, the reviews from this one had really won us over. We stayed for 3 nights and were pleasantly surprised on the design of the bungalows. The art deco was a nice touch and the location was perfect for easy access to all beaches, with sunrise beach being are favourite. Would definitely stay here again if we were to revisit the beautiful island of koh lipe.

Staff couldn't be more helpful - complimentary transport to the Jetty, any problems in the room they are there straight away. Great location, walking distance to everywhere - 3 min walk to sunrise beach, 10 minutes to sunset beach, 2 minutes to walking street Room was comfortable, had everything you need. Fresh bottle of water every day

A little expensive compared to rest of Thailand, stayed somewhere nicer in phuket for less than half the price. But I think that's just koh lipe! Breakfast not included, 200 baht per person per day for buffet - can get lovely breakfast in nearby cafés for less

It is strategically located. Few steps away to the Walking Street. Plenty of restaurants and massage parlour in the area. Walking distance to the Sunrise Beach. Room is good. No complaint. It vomes with mosquito repellent in the room. Overall, it was a good stay.
