The hostel looks more like a high-end hotel. It's absolutely beautful! The area around the hostel is very charming and quiet, especially by the canal with local cafes where you can watch the locals and listen to some relaxing music. The staff is very at AMA is very kind and helpful. The beds and facilities are clean. I've stayed in this place multiple time and I will surely return when I have a chance. 10 out of 10 experience.

The air con in the rooms is quite strong so it may not be suitable for those who are sensitive to cold. However when you cover the bed with the curtain, you will feel comfortable.

Chic hostel. Great location close to Yaowarat Road, Chinatown, sampaeng market and little India. The beds and pillows were Comfortable. The rooms had TV, AC and a water kettle. There’s a little cafe at the hostel. It is very quiet inside the rooms despite being in a busy part of Bangkok. Closest stations are MRT Sam Yot, MRT Wat Mangkhon and Ratchawong pier.

Very basic rooms (no fridge). Rooms aren’t cleaned and towels aren’t exchanged between check-in and check-out. Check-in is quite late and there is no way to check-in earlier.

Very close to a cute canal with some delicious street food options. Within walking distance from the main attractions. The hostel itself is beautifully decorated, every corner is worth a photo. I stayed in a double room which was very spacious, bed super comfortable and even if I didn’t have a private bathroom it wasn’t a problem at all. The room and the bathroom were very clean. There’s a cafe on the ground floor where you can grab a coffee in the morning (they offer 20% discount)

the location of the hostel is super central. nicely located very close to a little canal with many food stands and great indian retaurants across the water. the rooms were big enough to spend 2-3 nights there. shared bathrooms and toilets. BUT: i have never been in a hostel where both, toilets and showers, were so super clean as here. 10/10 points. internet works fine. seperate areas to sit outside the room. very good coffee at the little bar at the reception. they order transfers for you, if wanted. room was quiet, busy market nearby.

was a bit hard to find at arrival, but ask the people around, they are happy to help and all know the Ama Hostel. internet: you always have to connect newly after disconneting, devices are not able to remember the password. nothing else to complain.

I liked the beds and the covinient location of the hostel. Everything was clean and the hostel itself is also very beautiful! It also has a nice kitchen (without a sink though) but with a kettle refrigerator and a "magnetron" (i forgot english word). Would definitely reccomend! And a very nice neighborhood with lots to see!

Our room was a bit too small. But the dorms where very nice! (We stayed in both)

Cute hostel in a quiet area with a lot of streetfood around for lunch, clean, fresh (a lot of fans available in common areas and AC in the room), laundry service and airport transfer available Ps: if you arrive with a taxi maybe ask the hostel to give you directions or an address to give since the hostel is located in a small street were cars and motorbikes cannot access

I'd be great to have more hangings in both bedroom and bathroom, bedlight could be stronger

Quietest, most comfortable hostel I've ever stayed in! Luxury feeling bedsheets, wonderful pillows and mattress. Beautiful interior and exterior design, professional and friendly staff. Great Chinese theme Great areas to work from, nice area at the front to meet people, but I think this hostel really excels as a quiet and super comfy hostel for people who want a good night's sleep when exploring Bangkok. I'll recommend this place to everyone!

Showers and shower tray ought to be cleaned every day, they aren't and it means they were uncomfortably dirty for the entire duration of my stay :(

Great secluded location in a pretty, lantern-strewn alley in the little india area, just off Ong Ang walking street and a short walk to Chinatown and fantastic Yaowarat road (endless street food). Also only a 15-20 min walk to Wat Pho/Grand Palace. Sam Yot metro station close too. The hostel itself is very stylish, the cafe does a great latte (you get a 20% off coupon per person for use there) and our private room was spacious, quiet, clean and had nice big windows for lots of natural light. Also got given snacks and water each day in our room. Can't fault it! We'll come back in a heart-beat.

I asked for one extra night in an individual room, they gave me the price and I accepted, I booked it directly with them. they never mentioned that it was a bunk bed room where I was staying alone, it was very small with almost no sunlight. no accès with car, it’s a in a very narrow beautiful street, it’s good to know if you are taking a taxi to the hostel. It’s not a social hostel, I was expecting to meet more travelers and it was very quiet, i think it’s good to know depending on what you are looking for.

Beautiful historic building right on Ong Ang Canal, streetfood and markets right outside but not noisy. Clean and comfortable twin room with balcony overlooking the lane and courtyard. Felt safe travelling solo. Walk to Chinatown, walk to Memorial Bridge Peir, walk to MRT. Would stay again.
