Great location, friendly and helpful staff, and awesome food at the restaurant downstairs too! Best thing was how flexible and supportive they were - I’d made a mistake with my [flight] departure times, and turned out it was 12hrs later than I’d realised… Would have had to spend most of this time laden with baggage putzing about waiting, but the hotel staff allowed me to stay an extra half-day and charged accordingly (only had to pay half the normal rate as I was still leaving that day, but in the evening, so they let me keep the room for an extra 8 hours). Was a lifesaver and made a huge difference!

The windows could do with being soundproofed - the noise from the street could be a little loud at times, but it wasn’t “unbearable”. Also, the low voltage plug/outlets… 🪫 Made charging devices a chore as it took twice as long as normal. But these are only minor gripes.

One Night bevfore travelling further itvwas absolutly perfect. Clean, comfy Bed, you can choose cheap or expensiv breakfast. Very friendly people who work there and the owner of the restaurant( not sure also from the hotel?) was super nice.

I would not stay more than one night, its somwhere in Bangkok where its loud, you can hear outside noises( we slept perfectly fine, but there are people who dont). In the morning they startet the construction in the house, very loud( it didnt bother us cause we left in the morning) So absolutly recommended Hotel for one night, for me.

They had very good hot water heating for the shower. Many hotels I have been to either don't have any hot water or the water is only warm. It was one of the better hotels I have stayed at in the Ekkamai area that did not cost a very large amount of money. The restaurant downstairs has a very large menu and very good food. The beds are not hard as a rock like some places I have stayed in Thailand. That is very nice.

Did not like that they use the crappy system that most Thai hotels use of only giving you one key for the room and you have to use it to turn on the electricity. I had to be gone a very long time for a surgery one day and the room was extremely hot when I got back because I couldn't leave the AC on. Change the toilet paper to rolls. They have single piece dispensers that are very inconvenient.

The Breakfast was a breakfast plate, not breakfast buffet, the room was spacious, and was good, the location is excellent, close to the Sky Train, Grocery Stores, different types of coffee shops and a Japanese Grocery Store chain, in fact it's in a Japanese quarter of Bangkok which makes it interesting. The Restaurant serves some good quality western food at a fraction of the cost you pay for in Western restaurants today, but still significantly more expensive than the local Thai cuisine, which can be eaten abundantly at a very very low price. The second Tuesday of every month they have a good Mexican buffet. Now the entrance to the room is by Keys, and if you need to use the safe you have to leave a deposit. This is so other travelers know, just in case they feel comfortable with keys or with electronic key cards. ONE VERY BUG PLUS ON THIS PROPERTY: Access to Wired Internet. If you like having high speed WIRED internet, in this property you can have it, and it would be good to bring your own Ethernet cables to take advantage of it.

The Water pressure on the toilet hose and the shower is a little too low in my opinion, and I also wish, given the New Orleans Creole These of the property, in their restaurant they would play more Cajun music, or New Orleans Jazz music or the music of Jazz Musicians from New Orleans. But everything else was fine. Although the staff is very friendly and helpful to matters related to your stay, don't expect them to give you much information about attractions in Bangkok or how to travel to other cities, unlike staff at hostels or other hotels.

Cozy place, very helpful staff! You need to go thru restaurant to get to reception but everybody are so nice! On each floor you have another secured door before the rooms so it's really safe there! Very spacious room, awesome bed, very clean bathroom. Was really surprised about the quality comparing to low price!! Restaurant downstairs is also good with wide variety of beers. Depending on what you are planning to do in Bangkok - location is good if you planning to go/come back by bus (bus station just across the street) and get the proper rest. But also you can find nice street food near by and some restaurants.

Hotel very close to Ekamai station. I got a two-room apartment. The breakfast included in the price is satisfactory, but I recommend not paying for breakfast and choosing breakfast from the menu. I stayed one night before traveling to Koh Samed. It was a good choice. The hotel is connected to an Anglo-American restaurant, the food was great and the price is reasonable. I definitely recommended. The staff was nice and helpful.

I have nothing to complain about.

The restaurant and the "family room" layout were both very positive points. The Louisiana-themed restaurant had great food, showed US football and other sports on their TVs, and transported us nostalgically to the other side of the world via the vibe...and the pancakes. The room was clean, spacious, and featured a nice bathroom. We will be back!

The hotel staff was wonderful, but they were not there after 7pm or so, and on Sundays. The restaurant staff was great, however, so there were no real negatives.

Very large room, huge shower, scrupulously clean. Very gracious staff. Lovely touches like kettle in the room, fridge with chilled water and little toothbrush/toothpaste packs. Superb value for money given location. Like many others, I needed access to the bus station and it's 3 mins walk away.

Fan in room grand for me, temp around 30 degrees, but may not be adequate if any hotter. But for the price they're charging, I'll take it!

The hotel, or the part I stayed in, wasn't above the restaurant on the main road, it was in a building behind it, down a side street /alley which has their office on the ground floor. Without a clear 'reception', it felt a bit untended- I don't know how it would work checking in after the restaurant's closed. But when I had to get a taxi to airport very early in the morning, the staff/security guy there did help prearrange it. Nice facilities in room. Clean modern room, nice lighting. I liked having a kettle and the very long bench/table to be able to unpack stuff/work on laptop. Ate once at restaurant- it was ok/expensive. Plenty other eating and shopping options/supermarket close by.

Am a long time visitor to Bourbon Street Hotel, and they won me over years back as well as everyone that has traveled with me. If there was an 11 on room cleanliness - it would be here! You get a nice sized room and a super comfortable bed and a great shower, and AC that works as soon as you put your key in the slot. And its at a great price. But which is the real reason so many of us chose to stay here is hard to tell. Is it that they have a great hotel staff and you are treated so well - or is it the food. Both. You will not find a better selection of Cajun food this side of the Louisiana border, and it is two steps past just amazing. Their Thai food is just as good too. Those New Orleans style meatballs w spaghetti do smell so good that you might find you order them - and they are spectacular. Location is 5 min walk from the Ekkami stop on the BTS, and there is a lot of things in walking distance as well on the street they are on. Great centralized location for using the BTS to explore Bangkok.
