This hotel is amazing! The most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in. The tv in the room has Apple Airplay so we could stream from our phones. The staff is super kind and helpful and the breakfast buffet is marvelous. Honestly it’s the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

The hotel didn’t sell alcohol drinks. With the booking it said the minibar was complimentary, which is nice but it only contained some soft drinks and snacks. They only provided 2 coffee pods per day (of which only one was a dark roast, the other one was mocha) which is not much for 2 people.. it wasn’t a problem though because they brought us more coffee when we asked for it :)

Great location, clean rooms, very good value for the price we paid and amazing staff - almost nothing to complain about. Minibar is all for free - which is great. Be informed though that it does not include alcohol as hotel officially doesn’t sell any.

The swimming pool was so much smaller than on the photos. Water was quite cold and it was very important for us to have this working well. Unfortunately it wasn’t - here is why we give 9 and not 10/10.

This is a new and very clean hotel. The room is practical and thoughtfully designed, with a bathroom that keeps the wet and dry areas separate, which helps maintain cleanliness. The couch by the drop-down window offers a pleasant view, and getting a cab from the hotel is easy. Room service is also reasonably priced for a 5-star stay.

Everything was perfect, the staff and service did a truly amazing job. We would love to visit again! Very diverse breakfast, that we as Europeans enjoyed very much. I don‘t understand some western-centric comments on this platform saying that the hotel did not offer enough western dish options, you had an entire section dedicated to western dishes. If that‘s not enough please rethink if Asia is the right place for you to go. I‘ve never heard any asian tourist complain about Western hotels not offering enough asian dishes…

I cannot tell you how much I loved this property. 10/10! I would recommend it to everyone and will definitely stay again.

Breakfast was average

Good location, 10 mins walk to 2 ferry stops so you could hop on the orange line up to the sights up the river. Rooms were spacious and clean. We arrived very early after a flight and they were able to get us straight into our room which was very much appreciated by our jet lagged selves! Lovely rooftop pool with great views (views from our the pool much better than in the pool as it has quite high sides surrounding it!). Open late enough for a late evening swim. Staff were very lovely too!

They don’t have a bar at the hotel, and the poolside hut by the pool is only open until 7 and only serves non alcoholic drinks so if you fancy a cocktail by the pool then that’s not possible!

It is crazy that staff running after you with bills for signature. You can put everything's on the room (obvious), but each and every time they ask your name and signature on the bill. Order cocktail next to pool, name and signature, order snack - again name and signature. Don't have breakfast preorder, that is ok., put on you room, but staff running after you for this f.. signature and name. Are you expecting people pay 200 dollars for room will run away after they drink few cocktails in lobby for 5 dollars or what.

We spent our honeymoon at the hotel. The hotel and rooms are super equipped and the staff very attentively accommodating. A lot of emphasis was placed on cleanliness and order and cleaned up directly or the pool loungers were wiped dry after rain. We were particularly interested in the token system for goodies, vending machines and the modern Japanese toilets. Breakfast buffet at the Hua Restaurant was well equipped. We will gladly come back.
