Our stay was so great! The room was so spacious, clean and everything was new and well-maintained. The room had 2 smart tvs with Netflix and other apps, it had plates, glasses and all necessary cutlery, everything was eco friendly. There was even a coffee machine in the room with a nice capsule coffee. The hotel staff are super friendly and they all speak English perfectly. The hotel offers children play zone with lots of toys, books (books are in different languages, we even found a Russian one) and a slide. They also give you a free promo code for the printing machine so you can print 2 photos to keep as a memory, it is so sweet! The cafe also has a plenty of choice for children. The breakfast didn’t have many options though, but all food was delicious. And we loved the design of course.

Water in the bathroom wasn’t hot enough to take a bath. The breakfast could have more options to choose from, but it was good anyway.

For a family with young children this hotel is excellent. If you don't have kids the noise level of happy children playing and sqealing at all hours might be offputting. The staff is very helpful. It was my son's birthday and they surprised us with a birthday cake and candles at the breakfast buffet. The driver they set up for us for a three day tour did a great job.

The pool is always cold as it is outside but has a roof so never gets warm and was not usable. The buffet and restaurant was not delicious, though sufficient, it wasn't amazing, but the coffee was good.

This is the best hotel for families that we’ve been to in Bangkok (and we’ve stayed in a looooooot of hotels there!) We don’t even want to try any other hotel while our son is little because it’s just perfect for a family with a kid. There is a playground with toys and a slide, the rooms are spacious and clean, it’s well maintained overall. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and they can speak English. The breakfast doesn’t offer you much choice but every single dish is super delicious, including coffee. The quality of food in a cafe is excellent. There are also plenty of cute little things like printing your pictures or renting koko-pants, which make your stay even better.

We liked everything

There was a play area so it was really a plus for kids. Staff were very friendly. In-house restaurant/cafe was great, breakfast was quite good, with sufficient spread and some variety / changes daily. Room was spacious and clean, it was also great that there was a water station. Ants appeared near the bathtub during our stay due to small cracks along the tiles, but staff was quick to assist.

Would definitely be better if the place was near to a metro station, but we knew about this beforehand. Didn't manage to use the pool / gym so can't comment on that.

My children loved the slide and play area, it kept them occupied and entertained during our stay. We weren't able to do much sightseeing so having to stay in for most part meant spending time in our room which was comfortable enough for us. Despite the AC encountering a problem, we were swiftly moved to another room not far from us so we didn't endure the difficulties of moving our things. We also enjoyed the breakfast, although some might think the options were few, we found it enough to satisfy our morning intake. It kept us going for the rest of the day as there weren't many options nearby that was within walking distance, the few local offerings I found pretty decent and priced reasonably compared with the city center and malls.

As I mentioned in my previous review, the location may not suit everyone who wants to be in on the action. I find it quite nice to experience the less ventured areas and the bus stops were within reach, where you can go directly to places without having to walk too much to reach certain train lines etc. You can also catch the ferry boat behind the hotel, which added to another method of uncommon transport.

Kokotel is well situated down a sidestreet away from the busy traffic. It backs onto the main canal with regular boat service in both directions which is a huge plus for me. There was a free breakfast every morning which was quite adequate, i’d rate them above average for the lovely dining room and service but not so much food selection. The staff there, which are almost all women were absolutely lovely and happy to assist whenever. My motorbike parking was free and there is a security guard at the main entrance. Room was large with a small kitchen area and tiny balcony. Some lounging areas around the pool and on the patio adjacent to the canal walk.

Swimming pool is definitely on the cold side, food choices at breakfast were on a limited rotation and often cold. However there was always something to eat and drink choices also.

Kitchen. Breakfast wasn’t tasty and a la carte menu was absolutely awful and overpriced. We ordered 4 dishes and all of them wasn’t good.

Very clean and friendly property next to the canal so good for Canal, boat access, buses, and things also on the main road but hotel is located down a small laneway which keeps it a lot quieter. This is my second time staying here and it was really comfortable. There is a restaurant downstairs but it’s a little limited. We enjoyed a lot of the neighbourhood restaurants While we were there. Housekeepers are great and keep the rooms very tidy and presentable.

Oddly, a lot of the linens are frayed and little holes in the sheets and things, but everything was super clean and frequent maid service. It wasn’t a problem for me. The swimming pool is freezing cold hardly anybody uses it.

Cute stay near the main area. I had a nice room, with a view over the canal, khlong, and close enough to some nice places like theCOMMONS, good coffee and a decent walk to the skytrain. Short ride to the parks.

The cleanness could be improved as i had some ants every day without keeping food in the room. And the AC was dripping one day. Overall the location was nice but a bit far from the grande palace and chinatown.
