Great location, older rooms,but good size, comfortable and well maintained. The staff are great and the pool is a standout. There are newer, fancier places around, but The Rose has a charm that keeps bringing me back.

Not much. At this price point you shouldn’t be too nit picky. The bathroom fittings are quite old and could do with updating, but they all work, the cold water is cold, the hot water is hot and all the water stays in the bathroom.

Beautiful lobby area, strong AC , strong shower, clean room, comfortable beds, free water daily, can pay for half room rate if your flight is later and extend to 6pm checkout. Bit dated hotel in terms of hallways, lifts, room furniture and bathroom but good for the price and cheap. If they upgraded and looked more modern, would be more expensive, so not complaining. 7/11 near. Patpong night market near, loads of food but not halal, so not suitable for Muslim travellers. Patpong is a red light district mixed with regular food stalls and gift stalls where you can find clothes, etc. Perhaps not ideal for family because of the red light district but you can avoid Patpong all together if you prefer. Good looking swimming pool but pathway to the pool looked somewhat dirty , uninviting.

The rose hotel is a hidden jewel directly behind le meridien Bangkok. It is two blocks walking from a hospital. It is located behind all the tall buildings around it so the location is blissfully quiet in the city center. If you can overlook the proximity to pat pong in the night market it is a superior place to stay for all matter of wholesome activities. The restaurant in a traditional wooden tie house is wonderful.

Lack of cleanliness on the streets surrounding the hotel. The hotel itself was ideally kept. The restaurant is wonderful.

Love the pool area, and the hotel's proximity to public transportation, convenience stores, night market, etc.

My room had a locked door to the neighboring room and unfortunately you hear everything that's going on in there. Not sure if this connection door exists in every room but it did bother me a bit and my room felt less private than it could have

Amazing swimming pool an oasis in the city on a hot day. Location is also fantastic across the road from the pat pong night market and amazing restaurants near by. Although there’s also a lovely restaurant onsite.

Nothing. On a 2 week trip to Thailand. This was one of our favourite hotels.

Very friendly staff. Everything very smooth. In a very quiet Soi in a busy part of the city. Go out of the hotel and turn left into the Soi and you are in a very different Bangkok. There is a beautiful Wat hidden away there too. Recommended. Thank you.

We booked a room just for the day as we had a late flight and the Rose Residence, where we'd originally stayed was full so couldn't have a late checkout. It was £30. The hotel isn't luxury and quite basic but for the price it's bloody brilliant. Clean and well run. The pool area is gorgeous with all the greenery and the restaurant Ruen Urai is excellent.

The room was older style, spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. Also close to everything…Silom, Patpong markets, Skytrain…a busy area.

The walk to the pool could be improved, tidied up, made to look more inviting..but the pool was great..a little oasis.

The process was so smooth from the time we've booked until we leave.. the staff are so accomodating.. the room is always clean.. the location is near to everywhere...the rate is worthy... I will definitely book here again when we go back to Bangkok.. thank you again for making our first trip to Bangkok memorable..
