You've got the front row seats to the best views in town! the hotel is pretty run down and doesn't seem like it's very well maintained which is a shame considering it has such an awesome view! I absolutely loved our stay and you definitely pay for the views, otherwise everything else is pretty ordinary. Breakfast was nice with the best views of Wat Arun and then we had dinner here as well, again the BEST place for dinner with the best views and action on the river! Good location, close to Wat Pho, Grand Palace, Wat Arun and river cruises, pier to get the boat etc. I will definitely stay here again!

The hotel is a bit rundown and OMG walking up 4 or 5 flights up the stairs in the heat was a little too much, especially after a couple of drinks :D we didn't have to carry our bags so it wasn't too bad I guess. Breakfast was pretty average, they really could do more with this place considering it's a great location.

At the same as it has a central location, it’s a bit noisy in the evening from music in the area until 10. No elevator, but the staff carried our luggage.

The staff and location. I was in need of some medication, Khunyai and John, helped me immensely. Khunyai found an appropriate pharmacy and John took me there on his bike. I had issues with my card and John loaned me the money! This was above and beyond. Thank you very much. I would also like the say that the kindness from ALL the staff was in helping me with my additional needs was very much appeciated. Once again thank you.

I really loved the view, and the breakfast buffet on the ground floor. Staff and management were excellent and everything went as smoothly as expected, definitely would return back if in the area.

The AC was a bit weak. Not a lot of sound isolation between rooms. Early night hours are just a bit noisy. The image in the listing did not absolutely reflect the room.

My wife and I really enjoyed dining at the restaurant on the balcony (especially the complimentary breakfast), but it was the view from our room that made the entire stay worth it... Trust me, if you stay here, you will not be disappointed. The room and amenities are amazing. The staff is lovely. Thank you Sala Arun for a romantic few days on the water!

Excellent location for a few days in Bangkok to see temples and Palace. View of Wat Arun and traffic on the river was great.

Stairway could get crowded with large parties visiting restaurants and bar but was not as loud as had been feared. Not much info provided for tourists, but staff was kind and pleasant.

Stunning view of river and of Wat Arun and really close to the Grand Palace and other temples. Loved the safe and fridge. Amazing balcony out onto the river. Shower was brilliant. Room and hotel was very clean and tidy. Great roof top bar with amazing views. Staff were very helpful.

Very charming place! Restaurants on two levels and a bar on the top, all with a gorgeous view of Wat Arun and river. The room was stylish, clean and comfy, with a balcony looking down the alley towards Wat Phra Kaew. Restaurant had really good food.

Excellent riverfront location. Beautiful view from room. Very nice restaurant, breakfast included. Close to Wat Pho, Wat Arun etc, even Chinatown. Room was very comfortable.

I slightly downrated "comfort" because of the many stairs to climb. Front desk is also restaurant reception and sometimes a bit frantic but people are very nice.

The location was perfect and the view is amazing. The staff are really friendly and the breakfast is also really good.

You can hear a lot of noise from people taking outside your room or people coming from the rooftop bar.
