Large pool, can really take a good swim there. Safe and secure: I left my card key inside my room and asked the housekeeping to open my room door, they said they cannot open the door for me because of security reasons, so I need to go down to the reception and they did some verification with me before reissue a card key for me, this is not trouble at all, in fact, this means safe and secure! Good!!

The website says there are steam and sauna, but found out only steam for females whereas sauna is only for men. Means male guests can do sauna only and female guests can do steam only... It's okay BUT! The main door keeps open all the time, so as a female guest, it's soooo uncomfortable as we are all naked while doing steam, but people can simply see us when passing through the corridor and people do pass through frequently as there is a lounge outside, this is so unsafe as men can easily see us naked!!!

Compared to my first booking here, it's great staying here again and noticing the improvements made in their hotel. Surprisingly got upgraded to the two bedroom unit as well. The unit had plenty of space and a great view. And I can now confirm that there is no such law of balconies not being allowed above a certain floor. Room came fully equipped with everything you expect in a kitchen, it was clean, and the staff was wonderful.

Breakfast is not worth the money unless you have kids or limited time. Go to the shopping mall next door.

Staff are very friendly and super helpful. The facilities are clean and in great condition. Bed, pillows and cot are comfortable. The hotpot restaurant just under he hotel is excellent. The location is great, walkable to the underground train and shopping malls. Grab is good for food ordering and there are many good options nearby for delivery.

The room spray / perfume they used in the reception area and mostly everywhere in the hotel is very strong. It smelt nice but very over powering. I understand why they use it but it was too much and all my clothes smelt like the hotel fragrant for ages too. It was not enough for me to complain to anyone, just a feedback. We would diffinitely come back, but would prefer if they go easy on the perfume next time please!

Beautiful hotel with lovely facilities, had an amazing view from our room on the 31st floor. Staff are so accommodating and friendly they can’t do enough for you! We asked if there was a way Netflix could be used on the smart tv and they brought in a chromecast for us to use for our stay. Free hot and cold drinks by the pool and towels to use, gym with sauna/steam room. We loved staying here and didn’t want to leave. Nice big shopping mall a few minutes walk away. Would definitely recommend and we hope to come back in the future

Everything about this hotel was exceptional. I stayed with my spouse and my 4-year old son for 10 days and it felt like home away from home, primarily due to the excellent and hardworking staff. The room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, bathroom was spotless clean, and the accessories given like soap and shampoo were of high quality. The breakfast was excellent and had a wide variety of western choices and local dishes, an Omelette station, and availability of different types of coffee. The pool was great! My 4-year old thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the cute play room that is on the same floor. The location is absolutely one of the best as it's right next to the Jodd Fairs night market (less than 10 min walk) with great Thai street food options. There's also another night market that is just a 5-min tuk tuk ride away. There are also two malls close by. We got a suite that had a living room and a small desk/office space outside the bedroom that really helped. The kitchen was stocked with dinnerware and cutlery. In addition, dish washing soap with sponge and detergent for clothes washing was also provided as the room had a washing machine too as one of the amenities. They also provided bottled water on daily basis... and did not charge extra for it. When we checked in, they had stacked the fridge with some goodies for us, again at no extra charge. As much as the facility, the location, the cleanliness, the amenities available and the comfort was exceptional, the truly outstanding part about this place is their staff: the great people at the reception, the security personnel, and the awesome team in the restaurant during breakfast. If a hotel has hired good people, then you are bound to have a great experience. And this is the case with Somerset Rama 9. Highly recommend.

Absolutely nothing.

The breakfast was very good and sometimes they put “hummus and falafel” as Arab dishes. I thank all the workers, headed by the general supervisor. They were polite and friendly, and unfortunately there is no “halal” food for those who do not eat pork. I thank the wonderful reception staff as well as the concierge. The hotel is very clean and tidy, suitable for families and young people, and there are special floors for "smokers".

There are no restaurants near the hotel after the hotel restaurant was closed, check-in

Friendly and professional staff. Very clean room. Well-thought layout. Good location. Just a short walk to the Rama 9 station and there's is a short-cut to Jodd's fair. Across from the hotel is a huge Lotus Supermarket. 7-11 store is at the hotel's doorstep. Central Shopping Mall is above Rama 9 station. Sukhumvit shopping belt is only 2 stations away. The train also takes you to Chinatown.

Though the location is good, a short section of the street pavement is rather uneven and not well-lit at night. Easier way is to use the parallel pathway outside the shopping mall. Guests with baby prams and elderly may want to take note. Breakfast is usual standard hotel fare. If you are sensitve to traffic noise, ask for room away from the main street. Traffic is heavy in this area.

Fabulous apartment, beautifully clean and well equipped. Bed was huge and so comfortable. Great bathroom too, lovely shower. Also well sound proofed. Breakfast was really good, loads of choices, fresh, well stocked. The staff were so friendly and helpful, all delightful. Particularly Matthew, who helped my partner with booking somewhere to eat on the first night and some other arrangements that made it a very special evening for both of us. A great stay, we were sorry to leave!

There really isn’t anything we didn’t enjoy about our time at the hotel.

On my stay specifically, they managed to get me in my room an hour before check-in time, and also upgraded my room to a studio with stunning city views! I felt like I was on top of the world. The staff were super friendly and genuine. Breakfast was great, swimming pool was excellent. Room was well equipped. Good if you want to be in Rama9 as it is literally next to Central Rama9 and Jodds Fair.

I don't know if they have a hairdryer because I couldn't find it, but I think that's the only gripe I have with the place I think. Everything else exceeded my expectations. Ahh, if you want a seat for breakfast, you're advised to wake up super early if you don't want to wait as there will be a queue to get a spot in the small restaurant. I didn't have a problem though as I was up early because of their advise posted in front of the restaurant on your way to the elevators.

Lots of positive things to say about somerset. The staff have excellent customer service skills and are very patient with difficult customers. The buffet has a very good selection of food and drinks. The pool is huge. The location is extremely good. About 6 minute walk to a big plaza and sub station. There is also a mini mart outside the hotel.

Has a gym that is quite good but could be better if it had more machines for legs. But it's still good enough to get a good workout.
