Staff are amazing from reception to daily room cleaning to kitchen / restaurant. The location is great for exploring Bankok. It's near Asiatique market which is modern and clean with a lot to do, see and buy and has a great choice of restaurants. The river view rooms have a very good view of the city up and down the river. There is a boat pier about 10 minutes walk away where you can get a river taxi to some of the main landmarks in the city or connect to the metro. There is also a no. 1 bus which stops right outside the hotel and goes through Chinatown and near the Grand Palace. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We loved that the room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels, fresh bottled water etc...

The "finish" of the bathroom could do with some fine tuning. No laundry service although there are coin operated self service machines available.

The hotel was very aesthetically pleasing. It was located at a very convenient distance. Everything was accessible from here- from provision stores to food outlets. It was also very close to Asiatique.

While everything was well provided, I had problems connecting to the Wi-fi network. I was unable to surf the internet on my iPhone as the connectivity was very limited. The hotel may want to strengthen the signal for easy access via mobile phones. It is not always poss to carry a laptop everywhere.

I've stayed here before a few years ago. Pleased to say it's still very good and still good value for money. Big rooms, comfortable beds, nice staff and great views. Also very close to Asiatique and the river.

We chose to stay at this hotel as we wanted to be close to Asiatique and the river bus stops and preferably have a nice view of the city and river without paying the crazy premium prices of the actual river front hotels. The view certainly did not disappoint, I'm amazed how cheap we could get a room with a view like this. Beyond the view the room was great, with a comfortable, sizeable bed, bathroom was of a good size and well equipped. The hotel was also very quiet. I would happily stay here again.

We have stayed in Bangkok before but never at Riverside, great location and always a cool breeze from the river. We stayed on the 15th floor (Executive Floor), the room was nice, housekeeping did a great job (very clean) and the staff were all very professional and friendly. Kun Nan from Concierge was very sweet and welcoming. Breakfast was really good. GM seems to have a coffee break and a snack there too on a daily basis. Would definitely come back. Shout out to Tongtara Riverview Hotel and all the wonderful staff!

Good location (near a popular waterfront spot full of eateries and shops). Clean, large, bright room with river view. Comfortable bed. Nice lobby and breakfast area. Gentle staff. Note: TV channels has only few English ones.

Room Size is spacious. Big window. Full amenities. great service and great staff. We spent here amazing 4 nights. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. The pool was a privilege at hot and sunny weather. The breakfast is mostly normal, European standards, pretty good. The location of the hotel is perfect.
