The house itself is situated in a nice, safe and quiet area with quick access to local food tents, malls and restaurants. The room is super comfortable and they provide for your basic needs. The location is super convenient as it's super close to the MRT and BTS.

The only downside is that you have to use stairs to go up your room. I didn't really mind because I'm used to going up. The one room on the 4th has a narrow passageway.

Lovely little hotel that’s a corner house with rooms on a few floors. Our room was a spacious and very comfortable twin bed, with more power points than we needed. Ground floor is reception + cosy section to chill n help yourself to light beverages n snacks available round the clock. Thank YOU to very friendly helpful reception n very good housekeeping making our stay so nice. A very well managed small hotel. Short walk to Saladaeng BTS and Silom MRT stations. Lots of good food around. Just outside the hotel is an eatery with a few stalls serving delicious Thai food. A little further near main road is the Saladaeng Market with exceptional choices of Thai food and retail outlets (closed on Sat & Sun); caters to office crowd, so avoid lunch time for office workers.

We loved everything about this property. We received a very warm welcome from the hotel manager who was so sweet and helpful throughout our visit. The location is in Si-Lom, a super fun neighborhood full of bars and restaurants and shopping, and the subway was close by so it was easy to get to all the sights. Our room was super clean, the bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and spacious. Coffee, tea and treats were always available in the lobby, so nice. The price for three nights was incredibly cheap, just $52/night for what we now consider to be the best hotel of our 5 week trip in Asia. We will be back for sure.

The location is GREAT. It's close to great public transportation options. It's also walking distance to a park I just wanted to scope out. The staff was super friendly and always helpful with all the touristy questions :) The room itself was super clean and served it's purpose. We needed something clean with no frills because we were just staying one day and not hanging out in the room. If we were stuck for whatever reason, it was still not a bad place to be stuck! Also the whole place, including the room and "lobby" smelled clean. You'd be surprised how unpleasant some places can smell. You can tell they keep things clean and tidy, always. They also had complimentary coffee, tea and snacks of course. Umbrellas at the entrance were nice, plus the book with all the public transport options/directions, and food spots, sights. You can tell they really personalized things for the tourists. It was pleasant stay and all the hard work they put into the experience was appreciated!

Can't honestly think of anything that needed to be improved.

Its the people who run Urban House and the way they conduct themselves. This is my second time staying here. Love the location - its a 6 minutes walk from Silom station which connects to the BKK airport line along with the rest of the city and the Sala Diang station that connects to other important lines / tourist attractions. Also the city office of Hertz is 8 minute walk from there. Lots of eating options within 2 minutes walk from here. Safe area with walking distance to all night party places - my kids would be out till 4 to 5 am without any problem.

Urban House is tucked away on a small alleyway, but just a short walk from a main street, and maybe 15 minutes to Silom metro. This added a few minutes walk each day, but it was a pleasant walk and meant it was quiet at night. There were plenty of places for coffee and food within easy walking distance, including a market for just breakfast and lunch for people who worked in the neighborhood. We were around for lunch once and really enjoyed the market experience and food. And the coffee options were great, too. A bit further down the road (close to the Silom metro) was street food for dinner, which was great. We got the larger room because we wanted extra room due to planning on working remotely through our stay. The room had a couch and the wifi was fast the entire time, including for Zoom calls and multiple devices. Our room was clean and in good repair. When we needed assistance, the front desk was there to schedule a taxi, share ideas, and help with transportation. We had laundry done, and it was washed well for a decent price. Overall, I would stay here again and recommend the place.

Overall it was a great place to stay. The room was spacious, very clean, and about a 10 minute walk to the the subway and the skytrain. There are a lot of close by restaurants that are good. There’s a coffee shop that’s across the street that is also good. You are in the business district so the mornings get a little chaotic but that’s to be expected being in this part of town. The staff are super friendly. We enjoyed our stay at the Urban House!

The bed sheets were a little short, my husband and I are only about 5 ft 8 in and our feet stuck out at the bottom of the bed. Also, our room faced the alley and there is bright light that is on all night. There are blinds in the room but you can still see light poke through. When you wake up in the middle of the night you don’t know if it is 2:00 am or 8:00 am due to the light. As others have mentioned, there is no elevator so you will have to carry your luggage up the stairs, but that is expected with a boutique hotel. All these were minor issues to us but want to let other travelers know what to expect!

The relief of the air conditioning as we first entered Urban House, to the beaming smile of Ice, the receptionist, it was a warm welcome after a long day of travel. The complimentary bottles of water in the room and snacks in the reception area were very much appreciated. The room was very comfortable, modern, clean and quiet. I really enjoyed the location with plenty of nice amenities nearby (e.g. two food markets on Yommarat Alley plus many more in the neighbourhood, 7-Eleven in Abdulrahim Place, hipster food court at The COMMONS, Si Lom Road. etc.), close to public transport, Lumphini Park, etc.

We had some trouble locating Urban House (partly Wi-Fi issues on our phones). Perhaps thought could be given to posting a sign at the junction with Yommarat Alley.

Beautiful room, almost like an apartment. Clean and well maintained. The woman who runs the hostel is lovely and knowledgeable about bangkok- every time we left the hostel she asked where we were going, gave us advice on transportation, and tips to remember. There was always drinking water and snacks, and it was very quiet. LOVED that you could control the A/C in your own room. Lots of great coffee shops and restaurants around.

It was a bit far from the center of the city, and at the back of an alley which made grab drivers confused and we were cancelled on many times as they couldn't find us.
