Absolutely stunning and they had thought of everything, lots of little touches that made our stay enjoyable. The most comfortable soft beds we have slept in while travelling Thailand, even the sofa bed was comfortable. Very good quality bedding and towels. Loved listening to the thousands of frogs croaking.

Lots of mosquitoes but can’t be helped next to a pond. They supplied bug cream and an electric fly swat. There was no top sheets for the sofa bed so we had to use fleece throws, staff had gone home by the time we got there so couldn’t ask for any. - Wish we had stayed longer, 1 night wasn’t enough :)

It was amazing inside where there’re two tents, one washroom and one very large sofa bed. We also ordered for BBQ. - clean and comfortable - facilities are quite new as it should be renovated last year - while it is hot outside, the air cons in both tents are cooling enough - love the pond and waterfall! (nice to listen when sleeping) - you can grab free cup noodle/coffee from the concierge - BBQ and breakfast were nice. The meat and vegetable served are quite fresh.

- no security guard or no one standby for any possible contingency. We felt like we were the only ones staying on this mountain, as it only has 2 units (the other unit of tent is empty). The staff were off from 4.30pm, and left no one else but just us. I know the door has an electric lock as well as we can send WhatsApp message to staff, but still the fact that no one being around led to a strong sense of insecurity. - no quilt in one of the tents. Only have one blanket. - we ordered BBQ but no one was around to help us set up fire or respond to any questions. It was not easy with charcoals and only two fire starters. - the road to the tent looks is quite bad and looks dodgy, and we thought we booked the wrong place 😂

We absolutely loved our stay! It was such a cosy, relaxing and cool experience. You don’t meet any staff as they do it through the online system you booked with but we had no issues with that as all information was incredibly clear. The beds were unbelievably comfortable and we loved that there was a tv in the room. The whole experience was fantastic. It was clean and cosy.

Camp Cayla – Eden is such a beautiful and unique little paradise right in Chiang Mai. They only have two camps and we stayed at the larger one which is really spacious. It is a huge platform covered by a tarp, with two tents (one bedroom and one living room tent) and a very large, modern and clean private bathroom. Next to the tents is a seating area with a huge daybed next to a pond with a waterfall. You have even a wooden bathtub with hot water right next to the waterfall, which our son really enjoyed. Everything is very clean and tastefully decorated. The bedroom tent has a proper queen-size bed, bedside tables and a carpet floor. It has air conditioning and even an air purifier. The living room tent has a couch and coffee table, a smart TV and a free minibar and snack offering. If you are coming with 4 persons you can add extra beds in that tent as well. We spent most of the time outside relaxing on the daybed. We also ordered their BBQ dinner set which they prepare for us and we did the grilling ourselves. It included skewers with a variety of meat and vegetables, as well as salad, sweet potatoes, mushrooms, corn and home-made sauces which were very delicious. We also also order breakfast which will was served at the camp as well. They have a western and an Asian option. We tried both and we can absolutely recommend them. Camp Cayla is located in Suthep a very nice neighbourhood with artisan places, beautiful coffee places and restaurants. The artisan village Bann Kang Wat is right next door and you can walk there easily through the back entrance. Also just a few meters away is the Lamour café, a charming restaurant with great food. Wat Umong, one of the oldest temple in northern Thailand, is worth a visit too and only a few minutes away. We were so lucky finding Camp Cayla and we enjoyed our stay very much. Our son had lots of fun as well. Also their staff is very friendly and caring. They provided a great service and just rounded up the whole experience.

Very amazing place after I opened the lock to our booked area, the view was incredible! I have never experienced something like this, you should try it out too.

During self-check in at late night, it was pretty scary as lights were dim and the inner areas seemed dark. Didn't know that nearby door was our booked area too. Wifi connection can be improved as well.

This is such a unique property! The location could not be more perfect -- we loved exploring the adjacent artists' village, and found a new favorite breakfast spot at Bake House by Tippy just down the road. The tents were very comfortable and well appointed.

It was clean and tidy, well prepared. I was lucky to occupy the biggest site with a pond before me. Waterfall only operates between 8 am to 11 pm so it did not bother me sleep. Both bedroom and living are air conditioned, It is a luxury camping experience.

It will take 7 min to walk to the main road to look for food but it was okay for me.

The idea of no support staff on stand by for any exigencies and a camp which is very much in the city with lots of noise around since 8 in the morning

The nicest place ever. Would highly recommend. Absolutely beautiful and the best staff ever. Gave us drinks and snacks, coffee ect daily.

Only issue is the water didn’t get super hot for the bath or shower

The property was gorgeous but more than that their hospitality was excellent. The best stay we had. Thankyou to team camp CAYLA for making our trip a memorable one.
