Our second visit to this hotel. But, not our last. Walking distance to several temples, dozens of restaurants and a stones throw away from the famous Chiang Rai Clock Tower. The staff are eager to help but never intrusive. They organised transport back and forth to the airport for us also let us know in advance of local events like the weekend "Walking Street Weekend Market", not to be missed if you are there over the weekend. We are already looking forward to returning.

Nothing to complain about. There was some local construction going on that was out of the hotels control. But, we were informed of this on check-in although we wouldn't have noticed it if not informed.

I do like: Room: on 2nd fl. Clean and comfort with clock theme. Breakfast: no buffet, just main menu, drinking and fruit which should be ordered H-1. Location: strategy, near famous Clock tower, market and some food stalls Parking: large Circumstances: has plants and little park in corridor area. Cozy and calm. Photospot: the Sooknirund provides some room to design as photo spots, has large swing in the park and nice motorcycle Staffs: helpful and friendly

Watery floor because of watery plants. I felt down because of watery floor near front of restaurant. Pain in my waist and right ankle foot. Ms. Lam helped and offered me to doctor and hospital but I should fly to Bangkok in 2 hours. I got compensation airport dropped from hotel. Hope the Sooknirund ensures about the water on the lower floor whenever watering plant on the top. Fyi, I went to Chiang Rai for my birthday holiday.

Situated in the excellation location if you plan to travel around the old town. The hotel are surrounded by popular local restuarants, cafe and dessert and very close to the temples. Staffs were nice especially the security guard that so friendly, always greeting and always willing to help us when c/i and c/o. Hotel really cozy but provide full facilities that you need : garden, working space, sitting area, parking. Beds were comfy , bathroom spacious, room and public area so clean. Giving 10/10. It's exceed my expectation

A very nice hotel with beautiful rooms. Lovely breakfast (not included but for THB 250 p.P. great value!). Very central.

Light in the room was same as light in bathroom. When one wanted to sleep and one wanted to use the bathroom you had to lighten the whole main light of the whole room.

A Wonderful Stay at Sookmirund - Chiang Rai We stayed in a Magnificent Superior Suite, and everything exceeded our expectations. The bed was huge with perfect bedding, and the spacious bathroom added to the comfort of our stay. We were warmly welcomed at the airport by one of the hotel’s receptionists, and the transfer to the hotel was smooth and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly attentive, always ready to assist and provide valuable tips for exploring the area. The location is fantastic, making it easy to discover Chiang Rai. The hotel’s interior patio is stunning, offering a serene atmosphere, and the breakfast was varied, plentiful, and absolutely delicious. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Chiang Rai!

It is a moderate sized boutique hotel, well designed and looks new and clean. The location is very good, walking distance to restaurants and shops and the Sunday night Bazaar. We got a free upgrade to a Suite, which was a nice gesture. The room is spacious and clean. Bathroom is also big with enough toiletries. Bed is comfortable. Then staff are helpful and speak good enough English. The Breakfast is moderate, mainly Asian but sufficient with few egg choices, only white sliced bread, no pastries and no cheeses. There is no pool or gym.

Very well presented. Beautiful communal spaces. Garden area. Water features. Room was very smart with spacious shower. Comfy bed. Would definitely recommend.

We would have liked more storage space in the room. There were no drawers or wardrobe, just a rail with a few coat hangers. It was a little frustrating! We were fine with the bathroom setup but in our room there was no door to the bathroom area. There was a frosted glass sliding door for the toilet and another for the shower. Slightly less privacy than some people might expect.

This very beautiful boutique hotel is right in the heart of Chiang Rai, right on the main square with the clock tower. That being said, it's also completely quiet, so no traffic noise. The courtyard is so beautiful, with lovely trees that spread an amazing floral smell all around the hotel. The rooms are large and modern, very comfy. Staff are absolutely amazing, very helpful and attentive.

Nothing, all was great.

The hotels best assets are the fountains and the amazing inner courtyard and garden that lead you from rhe lobby to your room, the atmosphere is so serene and relaxing you don't want to leave the hotel. But if you do leave, you are in the bustling center of town, close to the night market and the nightlife district. The room was spacious and relatively comfortable with a huge shower. And as everything in the hotel it was immaculate.

The shower and bathroom area was essentially in the room, separated only by a glass door, not really my style. The room didn't really have sufficient storage space. The pubs are located relatively close, thus it's not completely quiet during late evening, but not enough to disturb our sleep.

Great central location, spotlessly clean, big comfortable beds with nice quality bedlinen. Good variety of breakfast options. Loved all the indoor & outdoor seating area’s, (library, map room, garden swing beds.) Hotel access very secure. Guest bicycles & electric mopeds (download app) available in car park gave us much more flexibility to explore.

It would have been perfect, i just personally would have preferred a bin with a lid in the toilet (no paper allowed to be flushed in Thailand)
