Amazing resort steps away from one of the best swimmable Pangan beaches, shops, vistas etc. The rooms are huge and have everything you need. The staff is super helpful and goes extra mile with renting you a bike, taxi or serving free breakfast afterhours. Manager Ron is always onside and happy to help. Will stay here again!

Everything! We booked the romantic studio with seaview and it was lovely, spacious, very clean & well equipped. The view was lovely especially as we were situated up higher on the property so looked down over the tropical gardens & pool & could see the sea on the horizon. As others have said there are about 50 stone steps up to these rooms so probably not the best choice if you have mobility problems but we found it no problem at all. We had a large balcony & I loved laying in the hammock as it was so peaceful. The location of the hotel is great & there are several restaurants within easy walking distance & a 7/11. The beach is just a few minutes walk away and is wonderful. The sand is really soft and the sea is very calm so very safe if you have young children. Breakfast at the hotel is delicious and excellent value and we loved the mezze starter as we were able to try some delicious Burmese food. We never used the pool as prefer the beach but it looked welcoming, was never overcrowded and sun beds were always available whenever we walked past. Other reviews mention that this is a good family hotel and we could easily see why this is the case as it is so obvious how much the staff genuinely love children & go out of their way to make them happy which is lovely to see. However The biggest thing that we felt that makes this hotel stand out above others are the staff as they are all amazing. Everyone is so friendly, helpful & nothing ever is too much trouble. Special mentions must go to Ti Ti, Mon, Bo Bo & Moh Moh but especially to Tom who is fantastic. He really went far & beyond to make our stay great and is a real star. Thank you all for a wonderful stay.

The staff are amazing - so welcoming and helpful with plenty of tips for great places to visit on the island. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The food in the restaurant was amazing and very reasonably priced and the cocktails were exceptional. They make the best mango smoothies I’ve ever tasted!

The beach was not the best for swimming, particularly given the island only has one high tide per day and this tended to be in the middle of the night. However it was nice to walk along and the sunsets were beautiful. The island is very accessible by motor scooter which can be hired cheaply at the resort.

Very nice resort, quiet, family-friendly, clean good service. There are new modern rooms near the street, but we stayed in one of the older wooden bungalows surrounding the pool. Large comfortable rooms, big terrace, between trees giving shade. Very nice pool with enough chairs in the shade. Pool bar with quiet music, never loud. 100 m walk to a nice beach with restaurants, massage, etc. Very good breakfast, including all sorts of side dishes and good home-made bread, hard to find in Thailand.

Cash payment or 3% surcharge for credit cards. No TV, but maybe this made our stay more relaxed. On Saterday from 17.00 till 2.00 loud dancing music on top of a nearby hill, very annoying for us. It seems that Tuesday and/or Thursday there are more parties in the area.

I can not believe how beautiful, accommodating & helpful and friendly the staff are! Incredibly kind, never forgetting our name and always playfully joking around with my children. The poolside bungalows are lovely, a decent size for a family, right infront of the pool and bar, surrounded by so many gardens and big beautiful trees. Food is delicious, ate mango stick rice daily 🤌🏼 and very yummy pad Thai. 2 min walk to the beach and hotel helped organize scooters. On our last night, one of the staff members knocked on our door at 8pm to give us x5 breakfast packs to take on the morning ferry as we were leaving before breakfast started. I couldn’t believe it. Sooo thoughtful, peach iced tea, fruit salad and yoghurt! It was really beautiful. Breakfast daily at the hotel was great too. An abundance of food for the price, good coffee and plenty of options. It’s a very very child friendly hotel with plenty of toys and a playground.

Only negative was there were sooooo many mosquitoes. So pack for that and be prepared. And really needed a duvet on the bed as it got very cold at night with air on but way too hot without.

Rustic cabins and rooms nestled in the trees. One of the nicer pools in the area. Very friendly staff. 6 different breakfast choices plus they bring a few appetizers before. Small AC with a fan to cool rooms. Fluffy towels upon arrival but thinner ones after that. Large deck with patio furniture and hammock. A 2 minute walk to the beach Highlight was the friendly and helpful staff

Issues handled quickly: the safe didn’t work so it had to be replaced and they never could get rid of the sewer smells that came and went. Bathroom a bit more rustic than I like. After travelling for 2 months this was priced higher comparatively.

📍Great location. Amazing beaches within a stone's throw. Access to everywhere with a 5-20 minute scooter ride, and I mean everywhere. 🛏️ Best bed I've slept on in Thailand. Proper mattresses. 👨🏻‍💼👩🏻‍💼 Top notch staff. Incredibly kind, helpful and authentic, a rare breath 🍲🥘🍛 Hands down one of the best chefs/kitchens on the island. Incredible cuisine, Thai and Burmese fusion. Do not miss trying their restaurant. The included breakfast was absolutely delicious. 👨‍👨‍👧‍👦🏊🏻🛝 Family friendly pool. Cabanas to lounge, little playground for the kids. ⛱️🏖️ Private walkway to one of the best beaches on the island (3 minute walk). What more could you ask for? AC works great. They give you pool/beach towels, they clean daily, they provide all the amenities you need and can help you book anything you want. Incredible experience all around. Initially booked 2 nights to feel it out, got a scooter, cruised the island to compare and decided that we'd stay another 4. Definitely a place you can get used to. Quiet, serenity with tons of party/food/bar options within a 2 minute scoot.

Very cute hotel. The pool and bar are definitely the highlights. The staff is lovely and welcoming. There are fun floaties in the pool. The room is right by the pool, which is super convenient. There’s a hammock on the balcony. The beach is stunning and very close, with plenty of restaurants and massage places along it. I would upgrade the rooms a bit — they’re a bit cramped, and the kids sleep in the same space. On the other hand, it’s hard to find reasonably priced family rooms in Thailand. All in all, it’s well-organized and convenient.

My stay at Baan Kiao was a dream. I am so happy and deeply grateful that I chose this accommodation. What impressed me the most was the exceptional hospitality and warmth of all the staff. I immediately felt at home. Everyone greeted me with a smile, and I received help with every matter right away. I have never experienced such loving service before. A special thanks goes to Tom – he was so helpful and always there for me. My hero! I also had wonderful interactions and great conversations with Minh and Lin. The location of the accommodation is fantastic. You have direct access to a beautiful stretch of beach and there’s a lovely café right next door. I’d definitely recommend renting a scooter to get around. My bungalow was amazing, and I especially loved the balcony with the hammock. The breakfast was also excellent, with all my preferences being taken into account. Plus, there were two free bottles of water provided every day. A big thank you to everyone who made my stay such a wonderful experience. If you’re visiting Phangan, you should absolutely secure a bungalow here. I will definitely be back someday – even if it’s just to say hello to everyone 🤍.

Due to nearby parties, it can sometimes get a bit noisy, so I’d recommend bringing earplugs (like I did ✌🏻🤓).
