Salad beach is a magical place! We loved the beach, vibe. Highly recommend destination. Clear water, dreamy views, lovely su sets. Laundry at good price. A/c worked fine. Rooms are a bit tired, but was not a big issue. Some great Thai restaurants around, like Pure Pure Kitchen, must visit. Also lots of decent restaurants at the beach in the evening.

They only have 2 indoors towels for us, no face/hands towels :( we did not use the restaurant as it has bad reviews, so cannot comment. The highest bed I have ever slept on. Might be a problem if travelling with little children as they can fall, we had to use suitcase as a barrier.

The beach is almost private and beautiful. Good swimpool and nice sun lounger chairs to enjoy the sea view.

Please, change the restaurant. You have a great place there but food is not good. I stayed here and also in the Koh Ma Beach Resort and for my surprise both has the same food. And 200m along the beach you have Coral Beach Restaurant with amazing drinks and fantastic food for a very good price. It is ok to go there, is near. But if the hotel has a good food too, should be great. And also the King Size Bed is actually two twins beds togheter what make a line between us, and was not confortable.

Location and facilities.

The resort refused to give us second key. They also didn’t allow us to have have a key that unlocked the electricity in the room. So we were not able to charge any electronic devices while we were not in our room. The frequent switch of the electricity (while we come. in and out of the room) destroy some of our electronic devices (power bank and usb adapter charger) I reported it to the stuff but nothing was offer to compensate about of 150usd loss in damage devices. Despite that I Still recommend the place but electric situation and not being able to get the second key (if you’re couple or family) is something to be aware of.

Haad Salad is a beautiful beach with lots of restaurants. The hotel and staff are very nice and accommodating. The cleaning staff bring fresh towels and were changing sheets appropriately. We stayed 12 nights. The pool was refreshing and clean and bright. It is cheaper to have the hotel order the taxi for you as apposed to trying to get your own taxi! We only ate at the restaurant once so can't really say much about that but others said it was good. AC in the room was nice and cool too. We had a bungalow with a deck in front if the pool. Room 207 was the most privacy I found in front of the pool as the bushes a more mature and floral trees adding also to privacy from pool area.

My only suggestion would be to have comfy cushions on the large hard bungalow deck chairs so you can be more comfy and sit outside longer. They were kind and brought us extra pillows to use. I found this hotel very open to suggestions and they respond quickly. I would stay again no problem.

Great hotel on the first sea line . The rooms weren’t so big but had everything needed and comfortable beds. Good AC , balcony , everyday cleaning and towels change . Beautiful beach with clean water You can find restaurants and massage places near the hotel. Be aware that there’s no exchange points around and hotel rate is low . As well nearest 7/11 20 min walk up to the hill , you can get there by taxi . Better to find a taxi by itself as hotel taxi rate is a bit higher than others . We’ve enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place

Everything was nice

We returned to Salad Beach again this year after a great trip last year. We hadn’t stayed here before but it is a lovely resort if you are looking for something more than a basic bungalow. It’s the pool that really sells this place as it’s a lovely addition to have alongside the sea. The staff were friendly and helpful our whole stay and responded quickly to a small problem one of our friends had with the room. They also arranged any taxis we needed with no fuss Unfortunately we got one of the rooms right above reception, which whilst being perfectly comfy and adequate, wasn’t quite the same vibe as the bungalows down in the garden or pool so if we came again I would definitely make sure I booked one of them instead of just a standard room Overall though we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely think about it again if we come back to Salad.

It’s not that we didn’t like it, more a suggestion for the hotel. Compared with all the other restaurants and bars along the beach the hotel one was a little unloved it seemed. It was such a large space and with a few more fairly lights and lanterns etc it could be lovely. It’s just that it didn’t really inspire you to stay there of an evening so we mostly went elsewhere. What we did eat and drink was fine and the staff were great, it just looked a little bare!

The beds in the bungalow were superb, extremely comfortable, however the wooden sun loungers on the bungalow balcony are the most uncomfortable pieces of decking furniture imaginable with no cushions, we nick named them the 'rack'. We felt the restaurant is starting to look a little tired but we found the food excellent. There is a step down near the front of the restaurant looking out over the Bay which has no edge marking causing a lot of people to trip. We spent a month here so did notice people tripping.

Well laid out and well built beachfront resort at Haad Salad with an excellent restaurant where we ate and drank refreshments everyday. AC is top of the line which made the room very comfortable. Nice spacious shower with good water pressure and daily bath and pool/beach towel service. Garden view from our little balcony over a koi fish pond is a nice touch.

Some days were grueling hot (felt like 105F with humidity) and the restaurant has no fans. When it's low tide and the water recedes, there's not much you can do in the water unless you go really far out to deeper water.

Very nice chill area, very tropical you feel like in the middle of the jungle, we even saw a couple of komodo dragon in the property!! which was equally scary and exciting. There was very nice viewpoint restaurant nearby for affordable prices and delicious food! Must book scooters if want to get around anywhere :)

Beach is not the best in Phangan but its still nice. We didnt have phone in the room, nor plugs near the beds to charge our gear and other basic stuff, they sell itself as "luxury" but they lack the basic of hotels
