No fancy facilities here but all the basics are executed well, there is a high level of cleanliness and the staff are very attentive. The location is ideal, situated in-between the hustle and bustle of Srithanu and the serene beaches to the north of the island like Chaloklum and Haad Khom.

It's not a luxurious stay but I would come back for the location, value for price and friendly staff

Very quiet area, comfortable and spacious room with great bed. Everything was very clean, the host are very kind and helpful! Nice bathroom. Wifi worked very well! There is great fridge and desk in the room. AC was good. It is quiet, but restaurants and shops are just nearby. Wonderful beach is also walking distance. Got bottled water every day. For me it was just perfect.

Good location for chill beach days with plenty of restaurants nearby. Air conditioning was really good. Host was lovely. Easy to arrange taxis to the full moon party and pier. Salon next door - very convenient! Highly recommend renting a moped to see other beaches & towns too. Phangan food court is really good for a variety of foods from different cuisines and loads of clothes too. That’s just a short drive away.

Koh Phangan is a VERY popular and busy island, so it’s really advisable to stay in the north-west if you enjoy sleep. This guesthouse is in that quieter area. You won’t regret it. Rent a bike and you can explore the whole island from there. VERY comfortable room and bed with Egyptian cotton linen!

Staff are so nice and friendly. A girl did our hair for us one night and it was so nice, kind of her! Fridge in the room is great! Restaurant next door is handy Comfy bed Warm shower Clean No 7/11 walking distance but some local shops on the street. Nice room spacious We were allowed to use the hot water facility downstairs for hot drinks which was really great! I would definitely stay again!

If there was a kettle in the room that would be a really good addition. The area is a little quiet you can’t do much without transport. The hotel was fantastic though

very nice staff, and generally sweet and helpfull people around you. They have everything you need in the same building - hotel, laundry, scooter rental, supermarket and a restaurant as a neighbor (with nice local dishes). The area is very quiet, but just 50 meters down the road you have a beautiful sunset over the beach every night. We felt very much at home at mahaad guesthouse.

the rooms are a bit noicy; ¨thin walls¨. I could hear my german neighbour phoning in the middle of the night. So friendly asked him to lower his voice ;)

The location is excellent, only a 2 minute walk to a beautiful harbour and beach. The staff were really welcoming and helpful. There is a great restaurant next door for breakfast and evening meal, along with a number of other good restaurants within walking distance.
