The room was nice and spacious with good AC. We stayed in number 17 and had a really nice view and sunset that we were able to enjoy on our balcony. We received two fresh water bottles every morning which was a bonus. Overall it felt like a nice quiet getaway.

We were there mainly for the full moon party which was far but it wasn’t the biggest deal. However the resort staff didn’t offer shuttle services for it and we had to book shuttle services with a different hotel.

It's such a gem among the accommodations. So quite, perfect sunset view and the private beach has the cleanest water in comparison with the other beaches (just dont have much sand, more pebbles and dead corals -- once you get over the shallow part, there thousands of colourful fishes and I even saw a turtle, twice). Staff is so kind. Really fell in love with this place, and I'll be back for a longer time 😍😍😍 Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

The bungalows are located in a very quiet area. The sea view is spectacular. The staffs are very helpful and kind. The kitchen offers great choice of dishes. The cook is amazing.

There is no option to pay by credit/debit card. The sea level is very low and many rocks, stones therefore it is very difficult to swim. Transportation is very complicated.

Absolutely peaceful and relaxing – a true hidden gem! We had a wonderful time at this resort. It was super quiet and cozy – exactly what we were looking for. No streets nearby, so no noise at all, just pure relaxation. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and offered a great variety. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always made us feel welcome. The location is perfect if you want to disconnect and enjoy nature – truly a paradise. We were completely satisfied and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to unwind in peace.

I had a bit of a feeling of being observed – went on holiday with my son and had a visit, which felt strange and personally uncomfortable for me, though it doesn't have to mean anything… The bungalows were very pleasant, but you could hear everything – privacy was basically non-existent. Other than that, everything was really nice and I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for peace and quiet.

Dragon Hut, nestled in a secluded location, away from the hustle and bustle of the main road, is the perfect haven for those seeking tranquility and peace. These charming holiday homes are surrounded by lush gardens, vibrant flowers, soothing waves, and the gentle chirping of birds, creating an atmosphere of utter tranquility. While the property may not be overly comfortable, it offers a serene escape that surpasses any sense of comfort. The beds are comfortable, the showers are functional and clean, and each house boasts a sea-view terrace. Although the nearby beach may be small, its waters are crystal clear and inviting. While it can be rocky, it’s an ideal spot for snorkelling, and during high tide, it transforms into a perfect swimming destination, making it easier to enter the water. Don’t forget to bring your own mask and reef shoes to explore this underwater paradise!

I wish the kitchen was open for requests. I had to go to the nearby village to get food. This place is not suitable for travellers without rented transportation. Walking to Salad Beach and Haad Yao is possible, but the steep hills and heat make the journey extremely difficult.

The location was lovely if you have a scooter. We like the quietness, so it was a nice part of town away from the crowds. The bungalows were great and spacious, though we sadly didn't have the beach view we expected. We did like the fresh water and towels every day! Great private beach where you can swim in the morning.

Only cash payment for the stay upon arrival which is a little annoying. It felt a little like the owners wanted to make a quick buck for some things: we were grossly overcharged for their ride on the way back to the ferry (600 which should be no more than 400). No scooters on site unfortunately so had a little trouble sorting that out. If you want a more local experience, stay further north or east as it is still quite close to the party parts of the island.

The sea view bungalow was stunning. Bed was comfortable. View was amazing both during the day and at night. Also stayed in the Garden View and that was equally as nice

Where you would padlock the door, I walked into that as I was walking into the bungalow and it still hurts a few days on lol... No need for them without padlocks Also the curtains in the garden view were very light blue and let in a lot of light early in the morning. Other than that it's amazing

A little further out location wise but fine if you have a bike and don’t mind riding a little to get to other places. Property description had mentioned that bike rental and laundry were available from the host, but this was not the case and the most local services to offer this I did not feel so comfortable with due to high deposit charges or poor reviews, so ended up needing to go elsewhere for these amenities. The lighting in the room could have been a little better - was either very low lighting or bright strip light - though this is just a small detail as everything else about the room was gorgeous.

Everything was fantastic, the family that own Dragon Hut are so welcoming. Beautiful huts with amazing views from all windows of the seas, thunder and lightning. Breakfast was perfect, very simple, mango shake was The Best! Definitely recommend this place:)

We stayed for 10 nights, which was too long as we didn’t really do our homework. The best beaches are on the other coast, so should have split the holiday up. (that was our own fault) The beach below Dragon Hut isn’t the best.

The rooms are very nice, and the staff cleans it whenever you ask. The staff were very kind and helpful, they helped us with whatever we needed, made phone calls for us and even arranged a bike with a bike rental agency. The view to the sea is very nice

The shower was not that good, and the location is a bit remote from everything. The private beach of the hotel is not as good as most of the other beaches on the island.
