Spacious and comfortable rooms, a lot of helpful facilities such as a safe, hair dryer, beach towels, beach bag, fridge, microwave. The hotel offers a great laundry service and the staff is very helpful and nice

It’s a bit far from shops and restaurants, you have to rent a car or a bike to move around but this is true to almost every part of the island so it’s not really a problem. Also, there were ants in the bathroom but it’s expected for an island location and rooms set in nature and some of the lights in the room didn’t work but that wasn’t a problem for me.

The most comfortable bed we ever slept in Thailand, nice location run by a family. They are very nice and can help with scooter rent, transport around the island, and very good food at their restaurant. The room had also great air conditioner.

It’s a quite humid area, and close don’t dry. But this is not a weak point of the location. It’s just normal for that area of the island.

This place is a big 10 for me. First of all, the owners, their kindness, attention, their smile, their help. They took us on a very rainy day to the harbour at 4:30 in the morning, and brought us to the entrance to the boat. Wow. The room is spacious, clean, with a good and hot shower, big and large windows with a beautiful view of the jungle, tea, coffee, kettle.. Laundry is also possible. 5-7 minutes walk to a beautiful sandy beach, restaurants and massage. The restaurant is the highest point of the hotel, with a beautiful view. It is open the whole day so you can go to eat whenever you want, great and tasty food, and a very good price, excellent ambience. Motor bikes to rent on sight. This is definitely a place I recommend with all my heart!!! We will certainly be back!❤️❤️🌹🌹

Beautiful, large rooms with great aircon and TV that really works! Kids were so happy to watch ‘normal’ Netflix! The owner lady was so helpful and kind to us. She has a taxi service and you can just caller her to pick you up any time! She cooked us delicious food at 9pm and she is helpful.

It is up a steep hill at the north end of the beach. 15 mins walk to 7/11. There is another mini market down the hill by the beach but not much choice and not great prices. It is in a very rich forest environment. Beautiful trees etc but a LOT of mosquitoes. We were happy to stay in and watch the Netflix! No swimming pool, on steep hill so many steps to rooms. We found the beach very dirty with a lot of plastic waste which was pretty depressing.

The family who runs the place is incredibly kind and helpful, always making sure we felt welcome. The location is peaceful yet convenient, and having the restaurant on-site was a big plus. I definitely recommend this hotel. The area where the hotel is located has the most beautiful beach on the island. Just 3 minutes walking to the beach. The owners of the hotel are excellent people. They take care of you in every aspect. The food is also very delicious. They have a magnificent terrace. I already miss drinking coffee there. The rooms are very clean, with a large balcony. It is very enjoyable to spend time here with the sounds of birds and trees.

The location is perfect, just a short walk down to the one of the best beaches I’ve visited in Thailand. The rooms are very large, with a balcony. The rooms are situated in a very calming area with lots of trees. I personally enjoyed waking up for breakfast made by the hotel with the stunning view from the restaurant. I was able to rent a moped from the hotel.

As a group of friends, we loved everything about our stay here. We were treated so well every day, with such positive energy and warm hospitality whenever we would hang out at the restaurant area (which was every day because the food was so comforting). The rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped. Location is a short stroll to the beach as well. But our true favorite thing in our memories is the banana cake, homemade by the wonderful ladies at the resort. It was so delicious, we kept talking about it every day. Really recommend trying the baked goods at the restaurant!

Ran by a lovely family, very accommodating, helpful and kind. Very close to a well serviced and chilled out beach but still quiet and it makes you feel like you’re in the jungle. Really comfortable beds, the bathroom is ok but starting to show signs of age.

Not the property itself. Koh Phangan is much harder to get around than some of the other islands we’ve visited, it’s very steep for beginner bike riders and their taxi infrastructure is poor. If you want to explore the island, it can be expensive and/or inconvenient.

We had an amazing stay there. The room was very clean and big. The woman which owns this place is very kind and an amazing cooker. We ate several times at the restaurant and the food was always delicious, you could tell that it was traditional good thai food made with love. She even gave us cookies for Christmas and New Year's Eve. The restaurant has also European option to eat. The owners are always available for taking you with the taxi somewhere. The resort is very close to Haad Yao Beach (2/3 min walking). Another positive aspect is that the bed was very comfortable, there is not so much noise around this place and the windows have curtains to block the sunlight to come inside. In all our stay in Thailand, this was the place where we rested the most. Kop Kum Kha Sun Moon Star Resort 🙏🏻
