We loved everything about our stay—the peaceful ambiance, stunning views, and warm hospitality. The beachfront location was perfect, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. A great spot to relax and unwind. We especially loved the resort’s beachfront location, making it easy to enjoy the crystal-clear waters and soft sandy beach.

The panorama from the resort is one of the most beautiful on the island, and the rooms offer an amazing view over the bay. The swimming pool is impressive, with three levels to enjoy. The garden and surrounding environment are beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful atmosphere. We appreciated the golf minicar service that helps carry the baggage, as well as the convenient laundry service. Haad Salad beach, right nearby, is one of my favorite spots — especially for watching the gorgeous sunset.

The room interiors feel a bit outdated and could use some refreshing. If you don’t like climbing stairs, I wouldn’t recommend it, as each villa offers a great view but requires quite a hike — it feels like climbing a small mountain. Also, riding a motorcycle here can be risky if you’re not experienced because of the steep roads. The beach directly in front of the hotel is not the best for swimming; it’s better to walk to the other side of the bay, where it’s more sandy and less rocky. And definitely wear water shoes, as there are sea urchins in the water.

Stayed here for 3 nights and could have stayed longer. The pool villa was amazingly spacious and the views to die for. Reception area probably needs a little renovation and the restaurant needs a better vibe but down along the beach were quite a few restaurants/bars which had a better vibe. The staff were friendly and kept the resort clean and tidy every day.

As we stayed in a pool villa, I feel the rooms should be supplied with mosquito repellent or similar as there were a few mosquitos attracted to the pool. We did bring our own but it was a nice touch when staying at some other resorts to see that they had provided mosquito repellent.

The views from the room were spectacular, looking over the bay, and lots of windows so it was very light and airy. The room was clean and well equipped. The pools were lovely. And the staff were brilliant. My partner was ill while we were there and they were lovely, cooking the food he needed and arranging taxis to the hospital. Slight air of faded grandeur but a relief after the bungalows

The bed was a little hard for me. There were a lot of mosquitos, and although this isn't the hotel's fault there was a large pond area, which I'm not sure helped.

I loved the view I had over the hill and ocean, and I loved the surrounding peace and tranquility. Only sounds of nature in the entourage.

A few things weren’t working in my room (the mini-fridge, the safe, some sockets, the toilet flush was too weak for N°2…) but you gotta understand this hotel was covid stricken big time and price for a night wasn’t much so I just bit the bullet. DO NOT BOOK FLEXIBLE FLIGHTS WITH BOOKING.COM, they will scam you if you need to change the date of the flights. I’ve been waiting for 2 weeks now and their customer service just keeps tossing me around. Unspeakable!! they’re huge scammers.

We stayed at the family room with private pool, closest to the beach and it was amazing! The hotel is beautiful. Is build on a steep hill going down into the beach. The beach is sandy and quiet with nice restaurants and decent snorkeling It’s very peaceful and calm, it was a great vacation

Not all the rooms are the same so choose wisely, the restaurant isn’t so good but it’s expensive, and the service level could be better, for example we asked for a shuttle up to the entrance from the road but they only took us up to the last room in the hotel, which ment 5 min steep walk uphill.

Next to beach and restaurants. Big pool. Staff member Boom in restaurant was great. Good views. Spacious room. Comfy bed. Friendly dogs. Tuna salad was delicious.

Noisy as the thin partition door in room meant you can hear everything from next door. Resort a bit tired and needs refurb. Pool and pool area not kept clean. Room cleaning wasn't good - surfaces and windows dirty.

Amazing views over the bay. Three pools to choose from. Wasn’t crowded at all when we were there. We had our own room dog. The shower was the best I’ve ever had- walk in and very powerful rainforest head. Walking up and down to our room from the pool was a natural workout. We got a lot of privacy.

There was a restaurant on the property but apparently not the same business. The prices weren’t too bad, but the food was pretty average.

The property is one of the most beautiful in this part of the island. The beach is nice and especially good for families with children. The staff at the property is really helpful. They responded quickly to every question we had. Also, they drove us to our hotel room from the beach every time we asked (the road to the upper rooms is very steep). The resort is calm and there are usually families staying there. I would return for sure!

It is a bit outdated, but you should not expect high quality levels of infrastructure on this island. Everything here is outdated, because of heavy rains and humidity. But that didn’t bother us during our stay.

Salad Buri is a beautifully landscaped resort in the perfect location next to the beach. It has 3 swimming pools, and plenty of sun loungers to go round. Our room was comfortable and clean, with a handy fridge and large bathroom. We enjoyed the pool, and also Salad Beach with its low key vibe and excellent snorkelling.

Salad Buri was very frayed around the edges, and it felt like a luxury resort which had fallen on hard times. Some of the swimming pool furniture and garden installations were broken. Also, the restaurant was dismal, empty and unwelcoming, and gave the impression that guests were not welcome to eat there. It seemed to be manned by one very obliging waiter, who was struggling to meet guests' expectations. We didn't have a very warm welcome on arrival (very unusual for Thailand), and were immediately asked for a 1.000 Baht key deposit and the money for the taxi journey. As a result of the above, we decided to move somewhere else for the rest of our stay on Koh Pha Ngan.
