Aranya Resort was ideal for our extended family group. Some of us stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen and others stayed in the studios with a pool view. Good pool. Close to the main road with shops and restaurants. (Including a 7/11) Short walk to a beach. Daily cleaning and free drinking water. The ?owner/manager? was always cheerful and helpful. He was exceptionally helpful to our son who needed to sort out a flight problem, even lending his own phone to him overnight! So kind. An ideal place to stay if you like a quiet 'no frills' hotel and are reasonably self sufficient.

The pool was a little green when we arrived (fairly common in small hotels in the tropics!), but was sorted the next day.

One of our favourite places to stay. The managers and staff are outstanding; friendly, polite and very helpful with any request. Hotel is as it appears in the photos. The rooms are spacious and luminous, with large, modern bathrooms, a sofa, and good-sized balconies which are perfect for chilling with a morning coffee or watching the sunset. Our room had lots of thoughtful extras, like a clothes drying rack (so good for wet swimsuits and towels!), and an office desk/remote working station. Great location in the Pra Ae / Long Beach area. The hotel is set back from the main road, which makes it quiet and tranquil. Walking distance to the beach and loads of shops and restaurants (though we rented motorbikes to explore the island). The pool is another huge plus: large and regularly cleaned/maintained. We used it almost every day!

I stayed at Aranya last year and I am pleased to say that the resort has improved significantly. Issues with cleaning and communication have been resolved which unlocks the potential of this resort. Rooms are spacious and bright. Bed was a little hard but it's koh Lanta, so I won't deduct points. Staff were great, helpful and keen the please The pool is excellent, 18m, clear water, good temperature and as it's a small resort you can usually swim alone. Location is great, 10 mins to the beach, 3 mins 7-11 and good restaurants near too.

It's still up quite a long, steep road plus steps to the upper floors. It will test your fitness for shre

Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommended! Our stay was perfect! The accommodation has spacious rooms, and the pool is beautiful. Everything was always clean, and we received fresh towels and bed linens regularly. The hosts were very kind and caring – they even learned our names, which was a lovely touch. A special thank you for the surprise birthday cake for our grandmother – such a thoughtful gesture! We truly appreciated it. We highly recommend this place and would love to come back!

We had a great stay at the hotel, which has its own very special charm with all the beautiful plants, flowers and cute animals. The manager mr. Tri has made our trip unforgettable with his kindness, generosity and wisdom. We have prepared meals together and learned about Thai food and culture, quite an amazing experience. The pool is great and so are the surroundings, peaceful and beautiful, especially the sunsets. We also met some great people from all over the world, also locals in the common kitchen, where we had some quite nice evenings. Huge thanks to mr. Tri and his team <3

Nice resort in a good location. Room was huge, like an apartment without a kitchen. Nice balcony, higher floors have a great view of the sea Staff were friendly and helpful Pool was great, especially as the sea had lots of sea lice and jelly fish. Location is good as the 7-11 is on the main road outside the property and the beach 5 mins walk.

This entire region is famed for its hard beds, but we have a leading contender for the hardest bed in Koh Lanta 2024. It makes you wonder why they would put a mattress harder than wood, on wood. The system for cleaning rooms was a bit haphazard and needs better organisation. The cleaning itself was ok but many days it didn't happen, and there always seemed to be a shortage of towels. There is a steep, dusty road leading from the main road to the resort, most people will leave fitter than they arrived climbing this every day.

We had a fantastic stay at Aranya Resort! The location is perfect, and we easily rented a scooter through the host, which was a smooth process. He even went the extra mile by attaching a phone holder for us, which was super helpful. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel truly welcome. Watching the sunset over the pool was absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay on Koh Lanta!

The owner of the location is very kind, we choose for accommodation without breakfast but he offered us a filling breakfast every day. Because we caught Christmas in this location, they gave us a sweet gift. We had everything we wanted, it's clean, spacious, close to the beach, restaurants, shops.

It would be nice to have a mosquito net for the terrace door to leave it open to enjoy the beautiful surrounding.

Location is perfect. The place is really quiet, the apartment spacious with a big balcony overlooking the pool, which is very pleasant. Special thanks to Libo and his family for making our stay one that we will remember. We would definitely come back and strongly recommend this place to all Koh Lanta visitors!

The location and the room size is awesome. The WiFi was great too (which is really rare around here unfortunately). Owner/manager was also a great guy.
