Lom La Lanta is situated very close to restaurants and a 7 Eleven on the main road, so if – like me – you don't have a motorbike, you can still walk to eat and go to the beach. The front desk was exceptionally helpful, booking an island boat day trip and providing plasters when I cut myself on said boat trip :( Good AC and a fan in my bedroom, and towels provided both in rooms and for the beach.

Note: It's on the main road, so light sleepers may want earplugs, but I slept fine :)

The location, the view from my balcony, the aircon / wall fan, the little bar fridge, the cleanliness & the assistance from Sada! Lom La Lanta exceeded all my expectations. I wanted affordable and clean and comfortable (aircon / fridge, etc) and I wanted to be close walk to the beach and near all the restaurants in the area. This place was great! I would definitely stay here again. There are no facilities (pool, gym, etc.) but everything that is amazing about Thailand is a short walk from the hotel. Koh Lanta is a non-commercial island in Thailand that is mostly locally owned and very quiet and relaxing and tranquil.

The beach towels are a little old and small. I bought one for $12.

We had an amazing time on Koh Lanta, and our stay at this hotel was fantastic. Our room was spacious, with a balcony, air conditioning, and good storage options. The bathroom had a separated shower, which was a nice touch. The common areas were very cozy, and everything was kept clean. Breakfast was delicious, with eggs and potatoes, and we could also enjoy bread, butter, muesli, fruit, and coffee or tea. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, assisting us with anything we needed. We were able to do laundry, rent mopeds, and there were beach towels and toys available. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Koh Lanta.

Very nice comfortable room, nicely looked after place and just a stone's throw from the beach. They also have their own laundry service which is 40THB per kg. Very comfy bed! Shower was also very strong. They have a nice common area downstairs.

As other reviews have said the breakfast is very samey after a while. They could at least give options on the eggs. Also the potatoes were often undercooked. The service was nice but for long periods there was no one who spoke English on the desk which is odd for a hotel aimed at tourists.

Very tidy, room cleaned every second day, AC working very well! Very decent bathroom, strong and hot shower. Simple breakfast (toast, butter, jam, fruit, muesli, coffee, tea) every morning gets you started for the day. Extremely friendly and helpful and especially very professional host. Takes care of all concerns (tours, scooters, transportation, laundry, etc). Even offers you scooter riding training if you feel unsafe about it. Four wonderful cats, each with their own personality. The balcony and the seating area downstairs are great for chilling out. The location is very good, many good restaurants are within walking distance. Seven Eleven two minutes' walk away. Beach is directly across the street (5 minutes walk maximum). Very central location from which to explore the whole island. I stayed here for 9 nights, the overall quality of the accommodation is definitely superior to what you get for comparable money. Very good value for money. Would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone.

The comfort exceeded my expectations. Great host with lots of information's available. Great service with a very comfortable accommodation. Amazing breakfast and stunning cleanliness. You can see the dedication for hospitality in all aspects. The owner is involved in all aspects of daily running and notice great employees around but very discreet. The location is just across the road of a nice beach with great restaurants. Looks like quiet hidden gem. Would definitely book again with this accommodation and definitely would recommend. A truly relaxing place to be with all comfort needed. Thank you.

Lom La Lanta feels like home far from home! Accomodation here is great value for the price, I booked a twin room and it was spacious and very clean. The simple breakfast included was a very nice plus! Sada the owner was really kind and helped me with booking tours and confirming my transfer on the check out day. Turtle beach is a 5min walk away, and quite a few nice restaurants are just around the corner. I'll definitely come back!:)

Nothing that I didnt like! If you plan to explore the island I'd recommend renting a scooter, best spots in the South of Lanta are 20min drive away.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast every morning in a serene setting. Location is good, very close to long beach and some great restaurants nearby. Can also sort out scooters etc here though we didn't bother. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Great value for money!

Traffic noise can be a little loud at times. But it's not a huge issue and shouldn't stop you staying here.

You know that it's next to the road beforehand but streetnoise was very loud. We had the room next to the road, so maybe other rooms are more quiet . But at night it was fine and we slept good.

I would highly recommend this place. We had a very pleasant stay at Lom La Lanta. The room was very spacious, comfortable and came with all the facilities we needed. Furthermore, the breakfast was pleasant and good value. They also have a scooter rental for a very good price. Nonetheless, the staff was very sweet and helpful. Thank you so much!
