Sai Naam Lanta has great apartments with kitchen, that are seemingly all individually owned, but can be rented when available. It's nice, quiet and family friendly, as is the overall neighborhood and typical for Koh Lanta in general. The perhaps main feature is the large beautiful pool, which is nice and clean. The staff is very kind and helpful. You're free to make you own food, or there's also the restaurant, which is quite good.

We were perhaps looking for a somewhat busier neighborhood with more restaurants and bars, but this is a more quiet place. So are also the beaches that are of more natural type. Still there's nice restaurants within walking distance, and for more it's not far by tuk tuk or local taxi. Note that we visited in the "green" (monsun) season, so Koh Lanta is less busy for that reason. The reception and restaurant is then open 8AM - 5PM, so this is something to be aware of.

Sai Naam Lanta Residence offered a really lovely stay. The staff—especially the ladies at reception and in the restaurant—were genuinely warm, helpful, and welcoming. The pool was a true highlight: open 24 hours, beautifully maintained, and perfect for a peaceful late-night swim under the stars. The two-bedroom suite was a breath of fresh air after weeks of sharing a room—spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a large living area and a balcony. It was a perfect setup for travelling with my daughter and gave us both some breathing room.

There were a few drawbacks, though. Like many places in Thailand, using a credit card added an extra 5% to the bill—something not clearly communicated in advance, which made the final cost higher than expected. The bathroom was also a bit disappointing compared to the rest of the suite: the shower felt tired and the toiletries came in tiny, handwritten bottles that didn’t inspire much confidence. I can also imagine that the pool-facing layout might be less relaxing if one guest decided to be noisy, though it wasn’t an issue during our stay. Overall though, a really enjoyable experience, and I’d happily return.

Beautiful property, two minutes away from the beach by foot. The staff was fantastic, always here to help. They even brought us a cake and helped us with planning some birthday celebrations during our stay. When we asked for some recommandations, they sent us their best dining suggestions which became great memories. The pool is open 24 hours a day. There's a Seven-11 right at the entrance of the hotel complex.

Their private BBQ menu was a bit expensive but we had lunch and dinner most of the time at the resort. Food was good and they had almost everything we were craving.

A small family-friendly hotel with a good pool and a room with everything we needed. 1 minutes walk to the beach for amazing sunsets and a few restaurants to choose from. 711 close by for getting food for the room but otherwise the hotel does great food too. Friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again :)

Some things in the room feel a little old and on the Saturday night there was some very loud livd music nearby. Maybe not the hotel's fault but it kept us and our baby up until 1am which was frustrating.

Great location and lovely property. We came with our toddler, and staff made us all feel very welcome and comfortable. Our 2 bedroom apartment was immaculate with very comfy beds and soft bedding. The restaurant was also very good, though on the pricier side. We would definitely stay here again.

The only thing that might have made our stay better would have been having our room serviced. We stayed for 5 days and this was never offered, though might have been possible if we'd asked. One thing i didn't like is that they also expect guests to take out their own rubbish which is not very convenient and not mentioned in the booking itself. This part definitely removes stars, particularly as the bins are not very close. In addition, the apartment bathrooms are not well ventilated and as you cannot flush toilet paper, this needs to go onto the bin. A butt hose in the toilet would be useful to remove the need to use toilet paper. Toilet paper was also not replenished during our stay, so we ran out.

The apartment was amazing. Location was 5min walk to the beach with lots of restaurants and also close to the Main Street. Food at the restaurant was tasty and reasonably priced. Nice big pool too

Pool in our second week there got dirty and there was quite a lot of guests and not enough sunloungers. The information/ guide isn’t quite right told us to leave empty bottles of water outside your door for a new one. When we asked at reception where it was they said we had to bring it down and this was the same with laundry. The some staff weren’t particularly friendly.

The location is perfect. 1 min walk from the beach. The size of the townhouse was ideal. Staff spoke good English and were happy to help. All was clean and tidy. Food is great. There are many restaurants around the hotel that are in walk in distance. From cheap to expensive - big selection. Easy to rent bikes, grab tuk tuks or taxis. The hotel transfers are great to and from airport. The excursions they have advertised in the rooms are nice and trustworthy. When we price match with other places was exactly the same. In general we had an amazing experience.

The only tiny little thing (that made no difference to our stay) but we noticed- were there was a few lights out on the path coming into Sai Naam or if not out we’re very flickering. We were 3 girls so it can be intimidating.

Rooms are somewhat cozy compared to other properties I visited. All worked in the room! Nice terrace spaces. Large pool 24 h open, with bar and restaurant service from 7:30 to 22:00, which makes your holiday comfortable if you look for easy accessibility of this service versus your room. Beach at a very short walkable distance with various bars. The hotel is in a compound with villas, there’s security at the entrance. Great simple restaurant just across the Main Street. When I visited, the property was fully booked and filled with Finnish and other Scandinavian families.

Missing air dryer, we had to requested at the reception. 2000thb deposit in cash at arrival. In the room I’ve stayed, the castle bed is in the middle of the corridor, right next to the bathroom door, kind of a funny way to max out rooms occupancy.

Great pool, lovely spacious and well kept apartment close to beach and local restaurants. Nice smart complex with good facilities and helpful staff eg booking car rental. Fabulous 360 views from roof terrace

Air con wasn’t good in 2 bedrooms (not cool enough) and one of the ceiling fans made a spark. The roof terrace couldn’t be used most of the time as it was too hot - needed a parasol or other shade and also prettifying (furniture looked old)
