Great value for money, beach and pool right on your doorstep, I met some great people staying here, we rented a motorbike cheap 250thbt for 24hrs great way to get around the island! I would recommend this as on foot you cant see that much. theres a, 7/11 near by, cheap local food places really tasty, i ended up extending my stay because of the people I met! I had a great time The family is really happy to help and so kind, the rooms are cleaned and sprayed for mosquitos daily

The beds are hard but at least they had curtains!

The location is the best. You really couldn't be closer to the beach, you have a pool as well on site, and close to restaurants, seven/eleven, etc. Staff were lovely as well, and they kept the place very clean. The location really is what made it for me! Showers were good, the bunk beds had their own light and curtains which blocked out a lot of light. I did enjoy my stay and would stay again.

The aircon was turned off at the hottest time of the day, so even if you made the most of the morning and came back between 12 and 3, the hottest hours to have a siesta or just be safe from the sun, it was no escape because it was roasting in the room. Also the bed was quite hard, not very comfy, but the location was so perfect and the place was always very clean so it made up for it.

The pool is amazing, close to some shops and restaurants, but the best thing; long beach is a 2 min walk away! Stayed in a dorm, beds with curtains are good, with big lockers (space for a big backpack) and a safe, light, charging point for each bed are a big plus! Airco is working, 2 bathrooms in the dorm! They made the bed and gave a fluffy towel. Rented a scooter there (although scratched ip by prior fall) it was working great. Good way to get around the island.

Reception is not always open, waited many hours to get the deposit back from my scooter. (Be ware they ask 5000 baht or your passport; i would not suggest to give your passport) Not all the staff speak (any) English, that makes communication a bit tricky. Maybe a good idea to put opening hours when there is nobody at reception. The phone nrs to call did not work/ only spoke Thai. I was told this was due to ramadan. Be aware of this the next 2 weeks. That might affect business hours. They did try to do their best. Overal; great stay, good location! Book it but be ware of these things. ✌️😀

The location is a small walk from the beach which was handy. The room itself is spacious and has a fridge which was handy. We found ourselves making use of the pool in the evening which was a nice way to wind down. Additionally the accommodations assist with laundry which was a plus.

Odd one but there is a kettle present but no logical plugs to plug it in to make use of.

Really good location, right on the main road and easy access straight to the beach. Although not all the staff spoke English they are all very friendly, especially Ben who made me feel like family in the end. The dorm was a good size with big lockers and lots of floor space. The pool was a lovely bonus and the area felt safe (as a solo female traveler). Couldn’t fault it, and such good value for money!

Great value for money. We stayed in the bungalow with fan and bungalow with ac. The fan was enough to keep the small room cool in january. The rooms are basic and not very modern, but do their job very well. We spent some time by the pool, it’s a very short walk to the beach, and plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. Well run grounds and the staff are incredibly helpful. Like, super incredibly helpful!

The rooms with AC would benefit from a mosquito net.

It's a nice hostel with a clean swimming pool. Very close to the beach and a 7-11. The beds were clean and I had 2 bathrooms in the dorm. The AC is on the whole night and takes a break from 2p.m. to 5 p.m. In front of the room was a little sitting area where you could talk with other travellers. You can also rent a scooter directly at the hostel for a cheap price. Good opportunity to see the island.

One toilet was clocked nearly the whole time - so only one toilet for 12 people.

This hostel was an absolute dream find! Really nicely laid out dorm room, with good Aircon and good privacy curtains. The pool is huge and well maintained, you can spend hours hanging out there. Then when you're ready you can walk barefoot for less than a minute and be on the beautiful Long Beach. The staff don't speak much English but they are really friendly and relaxed, and help the best they can. Really didn't want to leave and will definitely stay again!

As with other reviews it was tricky to find the entrance. But you just need to look out for the 'Laila Place' sign and then follow the path down to a desk. There isn't always someone there but if you walk past the desk and follow the steps round you will see the yellow building which is the hostel

Dollar for dollar I don't know how you could find better value. The Bungalow was clean and comfortable enough, the bed was a little firm. The pool is perfect. The location is really good, you are 3 min from the beach and from stores and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Location is really good, near 7 eleven, beach, and area with couple of restaurants. Easy to rent a bike . I book transportation with the hostel and the explain very good about time schedule and possible trajectories.

The pool is "far" from the shared room, so it is not as convenient as I expected to be. But is a minor thing because it is exactly like the pictures.
