Beautiful resort. Swimming pool and restaurant were very good. They were able to cook us vegan meals which were delicious and great value for money. Excellent smoothies too! Lovely, friendly staff. Shops and restaurants nearby. Short distance to beaches. The grounds where the bungalows are set are full of plants, trees and nature, and are beautifully kept. We would definitely return!

This is not a criticism of the property but we booked bungalows with a fan, but we ended up being there in an extreme heatwave, so could have done with air conditioned bungalows. Something to bear in mind if you struggle with the heat.

The breakfast was very simple but pleasant. They never laid out lots that sat for ages, but instead they freshly topped up as needed. The 24 hr coffee and cool water is a nice touch. The staff are lovely and very helpful. There is also lots of information on the reception walls about local restaurants, beaches, bars etc with little descriptions as a guide. I arrived early and they checked me in and let me have a later checkout as my room was not needed straight away. My room was a decent size and very comfortable. I had air con and a fan. The location is great overall. It is within a minute of a small beach that is very rocky at low tide. I liked that as it was very quiet. If you walk 5 mins in either direction along a road, you hit other beaches that have better access at low tide. All three beaches have small bars/restaurants that are not blaring out music.

The roosters every morning as a wakeup alarm :) Free cold water to refill our bottles; the scooters were new and they don’t take any deposit for renting them. The bed was comfortable and the two fans in our cottage were just enough to cool down the room at night. Water pressure was good!

-The location. It is near the beach but you can’t actually reach the water because of the huge stones so you have to walk to a real beach (I uploaded a photo) -The breakfast was plain and expensive (only pork, eggs and pineapple/watermelon for 200Baht) -Something in our room massacred my leather purse. I don’t know if it was a rat. Although we haven’t had any food (inside the purse was an empty chocolate wrap)

I absolutely loved it here, my partner less so as he likes action, but that’s not Koh Lanta . The bungalows exceed the photos, the bedding is hotel quality and a comfortable bed at last in Thailand ! The towels were fluffy and smelt divine !! Breakfast was great, my partner happy to see bacon. Owners are really friendly and helpful. We could only sadly stay for two nights but would have loved to stay for more . Air con was essential .. as we had had a lot of rain, very loud frogs, but it added to the charm. And I didn’t get bitten once !!!

We were in the most basic accommodation without air conditioning with a a fan. The bed was very comfortable. The room and the hotel area were clean. The breakfast was good which was a nice bonus. The staff is very helpful and helped me a lot when the transport I ordered to the airport didn't pick me up. Free water. Very nice recreation area with swimming pool ans sun loungers. Breakfast was very delicious. Scooters can be rented at the reception, excursions too. There are many restaurants and massage parlors around. we are very grateful for the hospitable reception.

From the moment we arrived we knew we had stumbled upon a slice of paradise. This bungalow resort offers the perfect blend of tranquillity and luxury. The receptionist greeted us with warm smile setting the tone for a delightful stay. Our bungalow was a dream come true. The private balcony made every morning a magical experience. The resort's facilities were impeccable. The on-site restaurant served a variety of delicious Thai and international dishes, all tasting delightful. What truly set Mook Lanta apart was the attentive and friendly service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction, providing helpful recommendations and arranging exciting local excursions. The atmosphere here is genuinely welcoming, making you feel like part of the family. For those seeking a peaceful retreat in a beautiful setting, this place is an exceptional choice. We left feeling rejuvenated and are already planning our return to this little piece of heaven in Thailand. Highly recommended for an unforgettable holiday experience!

We loved this resort! It was everything we expected and then some more. The staff were super helpful and the owners helped us with everything from great recommendations on what to do and eat, to suggestions on where to go next. Our friends couldn't get the same type of room as us, so they had to book a family room instead. A bit pricey for two, but for a family, I guess it would have been a fair price. We thought it was good value for money, specially in peak high season. Also, the included breakfast was the best we have ever had in Thailand. The freshly baked bread was superb. Additionally, there was a three-legged little dog on the property. What a cutie!

The staff were very friendly, helpful. The breakfast ($200 baht) was great, warm homemade bread and free coffee. It was nice to have access to a pool and poolside restaurant. They had a great recommendation board with information, distance...which was very helpful. They recycle and provide water to refill out bottles with, so another bonus. Walking distance to Relax beach and the Animal Welfare rescue center.

It was a short walk to the beach but was disappointed there was no access to the water as it was extremely rocky and you had to walk down a ways. We didn't realize their location was in such a busy part of the island, as 1 main road it was a busy one. The bed was not comfortable and a large double in a small bungalow made it very confining.

The vibe of the resort is chill and welcoming. I liked having my own separate wooden bungalow with no immediate neighbours. The room was spacious, pretty and clean, the pressure was good in the walk-in shower and the bed was comfortable with plenty pillows. I had the aircon on the entire time and I’m glad I booked the room with aircon - would have struggled to sleep otherwise. There’s a cute three legged dog, numerous cats and chickens. I didn’t have a problem with the roosters and slept in late most mornings! The owner and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The guest booklet in the room had a lot of useful info. Every one of the local recommendations was a success. I booked two day trips at reception and had a wonderful time: did not see other boats for the entire day while on the kayaking trip and the snorkelling locations were beautiful without an overcrowded touristy feeling. The location of the resort is ideal to get around on the island and I tried out several beaches (I agree that Relax Bay is great). Due to the rustic feel of the resort I was worried about being overrun with mosquitoes but had no such problems. The water dispenser at reception is fantastic and I did not buy one plastic bottle the entire week. A couple of times the power went out briefly, but I think it all adds to the charm (started laughing with the bungalow neighbour because she was waiting with conditioner in her hair). Had a great stay overall, many thanks to Oscar and the team.

Could have a couple more types of fruit at breakfast but that’s just me nitpicking.

They had free coffee and tea all day every day. They assisted with scooter rentals with no issues as well as providing info to great beaches on the south of the island and restaurants in the area. Included breakfast was great!

Bungalows are a bit rustic. We upgraded to an air con room upon arrival as the fan room was more rustic.
