nice bamboo bungalows, quite unique experience. they are just few meters from the beach, restaurant, and massage services. front-beach sunbeds are kept only for hotel guests. this is a great confort. you just go out from your bungaloow and in no time you are relaxing at the beach confortably! walking along the beach you also have many more options for restaurants / beach spots. so the location is also great. the staff was very welcoming, and we could also rent motorbike directly at the reception desk.

everything was amazing. I am not sure why some reviews mention cleanness is not good. I mean it is an Eco resort in the nature, in Thailand, how would you not expect to see some insects / flies / bugs casually during your stay - if you want that you'd rather go to the nice fancy hotel in the city :)

The location, 100yrds your on the beach ! Beautiful food , u can walk the whole long beach and visit other beach restaurants and bars , watch fire shows and other entertainment, the cabins are quirky and a great experience , staff are friendly to and great massage on site Look out for little wild geckos , hermit crabs and frogs :) Although it didn’t bother us or ruin our stay just be aware there is no water pressure so difficult to wash your hair ( more so if u got thick curly hair like me lol ) and no hot water so extra cold showers

The cabin was lovely , but I feel it just needs abit of maintenance , the lights and wiring wasn’t the best , the sink and toilet where not attached well , almost went flying when I sat on the loo 😂 but great value for money and location , the minor things were not an issue

Cool bamboo huts, nice decor & space inside & outside seating. This place brought back good memories of my younger back backing days in Thailand 30 years ago. Staff nice & friendly too. Right in front of the beach & beautiful sunsets, near enough to the more lively part of Long Beach but still quiet.

Reviews say it’s quite run down. We liked the rustic feel of this place but don’t go here if you like everything brand new & modern. Food in restaurant not so good but good for drinks & helpful stuff staff.

Excellent location about 100 meters from the beach. The bungalows are good for how simple they are. If you are interested in booking this property have the mindset that you are camping. There will be some bugs and some mosquitoes but they provide mosquito nets and means for you to mitigate them. Massage is available on the property overlooking the beach, better than average massage peaceful and private area.

There are locals that live behind some of the bungalows, they can be load in the late evening.

Eco Lanta is the most beautiful place we stayed at during our holiday: authentic atmosphere right at the beach with stunning sunsets. Very comfortable and large bed in a beautiful and spacious Thai style bungalow with a large veranda. Good airconditioning. Staff is very friendly and serve good food. Did I mention the amazing views from the terrace (aka beach) already? I love this place!

Although the bungalows are overall very comfortable they are not perfect five star rooms. The bathroom is a bit basic with sometimes limited water flow from the shower ( but it gets you clean) The bungalow is split level so you must be able to take some steps when going from your bed to the bathroom dor instance. The resort visibly suffered a lot from the pandemic but they are working hard every day to repair and upgrade everything.

The resort has a beautiful setting on Long Beach and was perfect for watching sunsets (the resort is conveniently located about the halfway along the beach). The bungalow we stayed in was simple, but well-maintained with a large master bedroom and decent-sized bathroom. Also, the porch had plenty of seating space, including a hammock. The resort manager was really friendly, as were his pet huskies and cat! He recommended great day tours and helped us to book them. Other staff at the resort were attentive and helpful too. The resort breakfasts were nice, especially the pancakes. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the resort and being on Koh Lanta.

My only suggestion would be to provide some extra sun loungers. Although there was a good number of them already, most were taken up by late-morning (the hammocks were often available though, and we could always find a free table in the restaurant area).

We stayed 18 days at this Hotel and were absolutely happy. I can not really understand the bad comments here because if you see the pictures you know what to expect. This is a resort which is simple, rustique and authentic. We had a great time because of this reasons. what we liked the most: it was simple but had an air condition. we had a lot of space to sleep in the main room with our daughter, no one had to sleep somewhere else. nevertheless it was good to know there was a second room. we also had a lot of space on the terrasse. there was not just 2 chairs, we had two long benches with space for everyone and a hammock! we also had a lot of space for our belongings and quite a lot of power outlets. if you like nature this is also a very nice place for you. there were a lot of plants, in the morning you could hear a lot of birds. yes, the way from the main street is not made of concrete and this is beautiful. it is passable for vehicles and nice to walk. during day time it has shadow. let‘s say: the resort had everything we needed and we would recommend it. it is not a luxury resort. I wish there would be more places like this in thailand.

Rustic charm with bamboo huts. Very friendly staff, live music, excellent food, chilled vibe. Good AC, comfortable bed. Great massage near beach. We had two bedroom bungalow which worked well for our family. Location was great and near other restaurants if you want to mix things up. Eco conscious and have water facility where you can refill your bottles.

It is a bit tired and imagine still recovering financially from not having tourists over Covid period. The pool is not good and always full of leaves from trees above.

Very relaxed place. We felt very comfortable and happy and the beach was on our doorstep so to speak :) beds were super comfy and clean, the mosquito net was great addition. If you want an authentic experience in a bamboo hut this place is for you. Veranda and hammock. I really liked it there. Great price too. Staff are all very helpful and pleasant and you can book tours/ ferry etc and it’s easy to hire scooters here too.

There is work being done on the pool at the moment but it will soon be finished, as it’s going to be salt water pool. But the beach is there so who needs a pool! I didn’t really mind. Resort was closed for 3 years over covid hard for everyone so it’s being refreshed now step by step. I can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful and peaceful location, right on the beach. Comfy bed and easy to explore the island by scooter - rented from the manager. The natural salt water pool is cooling and inviting. Ahmed the manager was very friendly and he has 2 very beautiful dogs and a cat. He was helpful when we had a power it during a storm and helped ease my fears of flooding when the waves were huge and the tide was high.

There is some work that needs to be done to make the resort facilities back up to where they were pre-Covid, for example - restaurant and massage were not in operation. This is totally understandable - especially as I visited in the low season.
