From the initial greeting, our 3 week stay was very comfortable. They keep the property very clean. The pool is cleaned daily, it has plenty of loungers with umbrellas and shade during the day. They play music and will even make drinks for you. You can order food, rent scooters, have laundry done, and arrange activities if need be. The location is ideal as a quick walk across the street and through another resort to the beach or walk down the street to a variety of restaurants, shops or ATM. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The balcony was small and with the AC running (putting off heat), you couldn’t really enjoy sitting outside. Minor as you can go downstairs and sit but worth a mention for those looking forward to a private balcony.

Excellent location, good AC, good shower, big room, fridge. Pool area was excellent couldn't fault the size of the pool and cleanliness. Staff were happy and seemed like lots of laundry on the go although we didn't use this service. Local recommendation - Uncle O for lunch Local activity - tour at the Lanta animal welfare centre

Overall stay was good but a few things to know about to be helpful. Room was quite outdated and basic compared to expectations. We have been backpacking for a few months and booked here as a nicer stay towards the end of our trip and it matched the more budget rooms we'd been staying in elsewhere which was totally ok but if you want a nice place maybe book their poolside rooms. 1 strange instance after check in was we realised we hadn't been given info about WiFi, pool times etc so had to figure this out ourselves, the check in is more transactional. We also didn't know they sold breakfast until the last day which was a shame because I'd recommend, it's a good price.

Best bed and pillows!!! good location just about 6min from the beach. They have motorcycles for rent. Staff is really nice and they have the cutest dog 👍 😊

No elevator. They leave 2 towels in the room. 1 for each person. I wish they would leave at least one towel for the hands, and one extra towel for my (long) hair. When I asked for those "extra" towels they acted confused and told us they didn't have towels for that but eventually ended up giving us some. However every time the room was cleaned we would face the same thing all over again which could have been easily avoided.

Very clean family hotel, a beautiful, very quiet location, the housekeepers are lovely and attentive. I highly recommend this peaceful hotel. Goya and her husband welcomed us very well as did her whole family. A very beautiful smiling woman who gave us very good advice, who does not hesitate to devote time to you. On site you can rent a scooter, many activities at super interesting prices. Goya is incredibly kind and professional, we felt at home surrounded by these beautiful children. We absolutely loved it here, we stayed an extra night! This place is insane value for money, it has everything you need. Comfortable, spotlessly clean, air con, friendly staff, pool, laundry service, quiet, great location within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The people who work here are so kind and can book your ferries for you too. They keep the property so tidy, the gardens are beautifully kept and the pool is awesome. Could not recommend it here enough. Can’t wait to come back!

Nothing! It’s fantastic

We are travelling for 7 months and reviewing everywhere we have stayed. This place was ideal to kick back and relax with a lovely pool. Very close to numerous restaurants too and not too far from the beach

The fact you have to put your sign on the door for your room to be cleaned. If you forget, you end up with no water/clean towels

The stuff is super friendly and helpful. Especially if you go to the Co-working Space Kohub, this Hotel is a very good choice. They have an amazing pool and on the main road you find plenty of restaurants and everything you need. Also the beach is very close and has some nice bars, cafes and is not overcrowded. The size of the rooms was also very good with a lot of space to put all your belongings, which is great, if you stay longer and have more things with you. Also they were clean.

The WLAN was really not working well and somehow my Smartphone did not accepted a Thai SIM, I was mainly without internet. Therefore it was good that the Co-working Space was very nearby. And the rooms are a bit basic and could be enhanced which would make the hotel a really great choice. And more a personal wish: Good coffee/espresso would be amazing.

Great hotel with beautiful pool. We have actually returned here a few weeks later because we felt so chilled out here. It’s just easy- you can rent scooters, there is a bar and restaurant etc. The staff are lovely and it’s a proper family feel.

The rooms are basic, tv is small etc. We love the hotel but I would say it’s more suited to budget backpacker types rather than anyone seeking luxury.

The pool is awesome and well kept. We got an upgrade on arrival and then decided to stay and extra week because we couldn’t picture ourselves leaving. The family running it is very nice and helpful, and offers all the services to plan your stay on Koh Lanta. The bed was so comfortable, the AC worked great, we would come back in a heartbeat and it will be hard to leave.

Great location. Amazing pool with plenty of sun beds. Staff can’t do enough for you, they organised Muay Thai tickets for us, a scooter and spent time with us detailing key places to visit around the island. We also got our laundry done there and this was to a high standard. A really lovely stay, thank you to all the Morakot Lanta staff 👍🙏

The bathroom could have been a little cleaner but still acceptable.
