In a less touristy area, but still close to great places

Not the most social, and the street it is located in is a little dark at night and as a female solo traveler I didn’t feel comfortable going alone there at night

Almost everyone at Us Hostel extends, and for good reason. It is a home from home and you cannot fault the laid back vibe, it's walking distance to Fishermans Village, beautiful chill beach bars near by and has an affordable food market just at the end of the road. The co-working space is also a great bonus, if you're a digital nomad looking for a long-term rental, you won't be alone here.

I cannot highlight anything I didn't like. The staff are un-matched and really make the place special, just book. You won't regret it.

very cute hostel! staff was friendly and helpful, the vibe was very chill. Beds were SO comfortable and big, bathroom and facilities were good, pool super nice. Big lockers in the room for your backpack/ personal items. It’s walking distance to the beach and to fisherman’s village. The food and drinks at the bar were good! cute cats around :) I loved my stay there and I would also recommend it for solo travelers! price performance ratio 10/10

This property had everything! A working area if you are remote working, a pool which was perfect for me as I like to stay fit by doing laps, the room was excellent very clean and the bed was comfortable, the whole accommodation was very clean throughtout, the food served was also very good! The bar tender was very helpful with recommendations and a really cool guy, the whole staff was very nice I was able to get a scooter hire through the hostel which was very easy. They also do washing aswell which was perfect for me! But overall I would stay here again definitely!

Absolutely amazing hostel. The perfect mix of sociable and quiet enough to do your own thing. The other guests that stay there long term and the staff were so friendly and got me involved in loads of fun things. The other travellers I met here were also fun and we formed a great friendship group. The hostel is very clean and tidy and the location is great being so close to fisherman’s village. There’s adorable cats everywhere and Taylor Swift plays regularly in the lobby although you can change it if you wish. Ended up extending my stay to 10 days here.

So sad I had to leave after making such amazing friends here and leave the cats after spending so much time with them.

It was a nice place to stay. The bed was comfy and the locker could hold my entire backpack. Also, there was comfortable common area to seat with laptop. Free stable wifi. I met some great people to hang out with.

To be honest, the bathroom was dirty and smelly. Many residents kept their towels, underwear, and clothes on hooks in front of shared showers. Taking a shower was unpleasant because there was always some hair on the floor, and someone always turned off the water heater for some reason. Another thing, they didn't provide a padlock for the room locker. And they recommended me to buy it myself in the convenience store nearby. It wasn't big deal for me. But it was the first and last hostel which doesn't provide padlocks for their own lockers. It felt a bit weird to me.

Great location - less than 15 minute walk to Fisherman’s Village and the beach. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have had in a hostel so far, with good pillows and a DUVET (which was needed because the aircon is very strong) Swimming pool, bar area, pool table for socialising.

No curtains on the beds which isn’t a major issue but it’s nice to have some privacy.

The vibe of the place is amazing! Perfect for solo travelers! And the staff will help you with anything you need! And the Internet is the fastest I’ve seen so far!

I really loved the hostel itself and the facilities, the room was very clean and the staff was also great!

- the bathroom was not the cleanest sometimes - another important thing to note if you book here: on the road that leads to the hostel are many dogs, I generally don‘t have problems with dogs but I got almost attacked by one of those dogs (he wanted to bite me). After this incident I never walked there again since I was so scared that I always got a taxi. (I know that this is nothing that the hostel can control but I think it needs to be mentioned)

Very welcoming staff and clean rooms. We slept very well cause of the quiet location. The location is very good and at a road with less traffic. You can buy food and drinks for affortable prices. There is a Muay Thai Training Studio nearby - only 100 m. Us Hostel Samui also have a co-working space with aircondition and great internet for very good prices. I see this as a perfect “get away” place to stay if you’re working remotely, want to do Muay thai and be close to the Fisherman Village.
