This place feels like an oasis. It's surprisingly calm once you enter the garden of the property, especially as it's located on a main road. It's easy to walk to the Fisherman's market and the beach, and there's off-street parking if you hire a car or moped. I was travelling by public transport and on foot. The gate is locked at night and I felt very safe inside the property grounds and in the neighbourhood. Hospitality: I arrived early, just as there was a heavy downpour. I made myself comfortable in the reception area and accidentally fell asleep on the sofa after an exhausting trip. Mimi kindly woke me up with a fresh coconut to drink from, which was incredibly refreshing and I was so grateful for the wonderful hospitality. Room: The room was spectacular and the bathroom was huge. Everything was incredibly clean and I couldn't have wished for a more comfortable stay. There was a mini fridge in my room, where I kept some snacks, and I was given small bottles of water each day. Pool: The pool is small but it was very refreshing and I was able to swim a little but I would say it's more for bathing than exercise. There were comfortable sun loungers and the pool area is quiet and calm. Restaurant: I didn't try the restaurant on the property because I had a few local restaurants I wanted to check out, but the menu looked enticing. There is no breakfast at this property, it's more like self-catering with a restaurant option. However, there is a great café on the corner of the street. I was contacted by Mimi from the property in advance of my stay to warn me of a local festival that would be happening during my stay, which would be very noisy. I appreciated the warning as it was very loud.

If you need to contact Mimi or the owner with questions during your stay you will need to call her, so you'll need a local SIM card or an international phone plan. I had that so it wasn't a problem for me.

Beautiful tropical gardens and traditional teak buildings just off the main road to Fisherman's Village and 5 minutes walk to the beach. Our room was a two storey villa with two very large bedrooms full of antique furniture, with separate entrances off a very large terrace containing a big traditional sala. Very good air-conditioning. Below, was a huge sitting/dining room and well-equipped kitchen, again full of antique furniture and ornaments. Very private. We very rarely heard the road, usually only the sound of the birds in the morning and frogs in the evening. Pretty, private little swimming pool, shared with the few other rooms, and a small restaurant with home-cooked food. Lovely, friendly staff, especially Mimi the manager, and the owner Thomas. Immediately over the busy road was a food court and two supermarkets, so very easy to get food and drink. Amazing place, felt like we were living in our own private Thai mansion. Highly recommended.

Nothing that mattered. Bathrooms are a little old-fashioned, but spacious, and only cold water available in the wash basin. Shower was hot and very good.

This traditional Thai style accommodation is superb. The Villas are huge, inside and out, the decked area outside is enormous, with a covered day bed and there is a further, entire open plan floor below, for relaxing!l There is a fully functional kitchen, toilet and shower room on the bottom level also. The decor is traditional and sympathetic to the age and culture of the area. There is a small swimming pool set in stunningly beautiful and mature gardens. Even though the accommodation is just off the main road, it’s a complete oasis of beauty once inside. Very close to Fisherman Village, about 5 minute walk. Great in house restaurant, with home cooked food to suit your taste. Mimi is a fabulously kind and thoughtful hostess, and the the entire team made our stay a great experience. A little road noise at night, but to be expected due to location.

The whole place felt like an oasis in the middle of the town. The garden was really beautiful and made you forget you were in a busy tourist area. Had the fortune to be able alone at the hotel at our stay, so we had the pool and garden to ourselves, an incredible experience. I've never felt more "at home" at a hotel before than I did here. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, made us feel very welcome. Came in with a fever on arrival and gave my partner a ride to the pharmacy to get some medicine. They checked up on us the day after to see if we were feeling better. We had accidentally booked the wrong room, but they didn't mind and changed our room to one with a double bed, with no extra charge to the original booking price. On our last day, they offered us a ride to our next hotell. Never had such an amazing experience from caretakers before.

The bed was quite old, which fit with the whole historical theme. But, it was quite uncomfortable to sleep in.

The room is set away from the street and is quieter, very clean, and they light mosquito repellent incense, but it’s still a good idea to have your own mosquito protection as well. We stayed in a new room with comfortable beds, and all the living spaces are very private. I fell ill with stomach issues and a severe ear infection, so I’m completely unable to travel to other islands, which completely changed our trip. However, this is an excellent hotel where you can 100% rest and recover. All the staff are exceptionally friendly, and we are very satisfied with our stay.

The most beautiful accommodation in stunning gardens. We stayed in the 3 bedroom villa which was absolutely perfect and very spacious. The grounds and the pool are immaculate and the villas are cleaned to an exceptional standard. Communication with Thomas and Mimi was very easy whenever we needed anything. Staff are very respectful and we barely saw anyone the whole time we were there

I loved this hotel. An island of peace amidst the crazy Koh Samui traffic. Lush vegetation and carefully curated pathways, even a small temple in the middle of the property. Once in a while you can hear the sounds from the nearby monastery, which - in my opinion - fitted the atmosphere of the place perfectly. The room was spotlessly clean and cosy, tucked away from the noise of the street. The manager Mimi is a kind and warm person, she helped us with everything we needed. Highly recommended!

What an amazing place! It truly feels like an oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. As soon as you step off the busy street, you’re transported into this incredible, peaceful space. The hosts, as well as the other staff members, were incredibly kind and attentive, making sure every need was met. Their warmth and hospitality really enhanced the experience. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a relaxing, welcoming place to stay!

Our villa was incredible with an amazing terrace. We had rain during our stay and it didn’t matter because we had such a wonderful place to hang out. It felt very special to have the chance to stay here. Nice pool area Great food market across the road

A little far from the centre with small children as had to walk along a busy road. If we didn’t have the kids we wouldn’t have minded.

The villa was amazing , huge open plan living area, old style , 2 huge beds plenty of sofas nice large bathroom, an outside area which was stunning in a lush tropical garden , considering how close it was to a main road it was so peaceful

Although it had 2 of the largest beds I’ve seen they were a little hard , but that’s just my preference
