From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms by Sunny, whose energy and excitement were contagious. He was full of helpful tips and advice, instantly making us feel like we were more than just guests — we felt at home. His warmth set the tone for our entire stay. We spent 4 nights at the hotel while exploring Koh Samui, hoping to find the perfect part of the island to settle in the future. The hotel itself was spotless, spacious, and radiated a cozy, homely charm that made it hard to leave. Every corner felt thoughtfully designed to make guests feel comfortable and relaxed. The rooftop bar was a true gem — offering a classy yet laid-back vibe, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The staff were genuinely kind, attentive, and always made us feel special. We were lucky enough to meet Daria, the owner, who greeted us one morning. She exudes a calm, cool, and collected energy that immediately puts you at ease. Beyond that, she was unbelievably helpful — sharing invaluable recommendations about the area and ensuring we had everything we could possibly need. We also ran into a bit of a crisis, having forgotten our bank card in the rush to get to Thailand. With everything running on cash, we were stuck — but Daria saved the day without hesitation, helping us figure out a way to transfer money. Her kindness and willingness to help went far beyond what we ever expected. Daria, Sunny, and the entire team made this stay unforgettable. Their warmth, generosity, and genuine care made us feel like family. We truly fell in love with the hotel and the people behind it. It wasn’t just a place to stay — it became a part of our journey. We’re already counting down the days until we can come back.

Absolutely nothing

Sunny makes this hotel incredible. He went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and went out his way to find and return a ring to me that I’d very stupidly left in the safe. We cut short our stay as we wanted to see other parts of the island - we found Fisherman’s village interesting but crowded (we were on our honeymoon so wanted something more secluded). The hotel were under no obligation to refund the remainder of our stay but they did so without any prompting, with utmost professionalism and with smiles & well wishes for the rest of our holiday. The location of the hotel is great if you want to explore Fisherman’s village and the restaurant on the roof has incredible food.

This is personal preference but we found the beds very hard and the linens/towels all had a musty smell. That being said, I’d still very much recommend this hotel for the price, the location and the 5 star service.

The Hotel is wonderful and has a very unique interior design- the nicest I have had so far. The room was huge and the location is amazing- right in the heart of fisherman’s village. But what really stands out is the staff- they were incredibly friendly, responsive and just lovely people that make you feel right at home. Also they were so accommodating and flexible when I needed to slightly change my travel plans and really go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Can definitely recommend and would love to come back!

The only thing that I noticed was the water in the shower kept switching temperatures at times but it didn’t bother me.

The location of this hotel was amazing! A thirty second walk and you're on the main strip with outstanding restaurants, boutique shops, water sports, and the most stunning view of surrounding islands and the main land. The rooms were far enough away to enjoy the quiet. Absolutely perfect. Water pressure and temperature were fantastic, especially compared to a couple of other places we stayed where the water didn't get quite hot enough for my liking haha. On a couple of occasions though, our air con did fail. But the lady looking after us was very prompt to get it amended for us, and she handled it in a very professional manner keeping us in the loop the whole time. Whilst the aircon was getting repaired we went for a walk and had the BEST evening. Sometimes things just work out! 😁

The staff were lovely. I liked how they were a green hotel and there was somewhere to refill your water bottle. Beach towels were available too . The location was handy to lots of restaurants and the beach.having a ceiling fan in addition to the ac was great.

The plumbing was really noisy in the room, whenever the water was used or toilet was flushed, and any activity from upstairs was well heard in our room. The concrete floors didn't feel overly clean, as they tend to feel dusty perhaps because they hadnt been properly sealed... The concrete floors carried the noise of people walking as it sounded like they were stomping..Our room wasn't very private when people walked past they could look straight in, so we made sure the net curtains were always drawn.

Great location in Fishermans Village, less than 5 mins walk from beach and restaurants yet really quiet. We liked the boho style rooms, comfy large bed and hot shower. Lots of little extras were provided free like sunscreen, use of beach towels and bags, luggage storage when you go to other islands. Good value for the price. What is really exceptional is the staff. They so friendly, helpful, efficient and flexible. Well done Dreamcatcher team, thank you for a lovely stay, it’s a 10 for you guys!

Cool vibe, very clean, classy & quiet even though the accommodation is located in the heart & bustle of the Fisherman’s village. I had two stays at Dreamcatcher prior & after longer stay on Koh Phangan. I wish to express how thankful I am to both Daria & Joy who were so helpful & supportive with me as I’d had an accident which injured my wrist the day before leaving Phangan. They helped to provide me with information to seek local Medical professionals to assess & help me with my injury, I’m so grateful & can’t recommend Dreamcatcher enough.

Nothing everything was fantastic

Dreamcatcher is in the heart of the fisherman’s village in Koh Samui and we had a wonderful experience. The bedroom was spacious, comfortable, with great AC and shower/bathroom. The hosts were wonderful and even provided some beach toys for our daughter. They also provide beach towels and snorkels. They even helped book our snorkeling tour for a very reasonable price and sent us extra places to go as a family via WhatsApp. Overall a fantastic stay in a great location with helpful staff! Also the food in the Burmese restaurant above is amazing!

Such a gorgeous room! I'm a huge fan of the interior design choices, which was a combination of concrete floor and walls, and wooden details and decorative dream catchers. The receptionist (owner?) Is truly great, and will help you out with bookings and logistics. Her English is also amazing, which makes everything so much easier 😊 I was only here one night while in transit to Koh Phangan, but I would stay here again! It's not on the main walking street in Fisherman's village, but one street further from the beach, which makes it more quiet than some options.

Only that I had planed to only stay one night.

We stayed at Dreamcatcher Hotel for just one night, but it was such a wonderful experience that we hope to return soon! The location is perfect, close to charming restaurants, shops, and the beautiful beach. The room was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall, it’s a warm and welcoming place that offers a peaceful escape in a vibrant area. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Koh Samui!
