The view from the rooms (we had a seaview) is wonderful. You can't really wish for more. The location of the hotel is perfect - just at the beginning of the walking street before all the bars and restaurants so you are close to the entertainment without getting the noise. The room was huge and bright with a modern interior. Our room was cleaned every day. The owner is friendly and a funny guy.

The door of the room is not really sound proof so you can hear when somebody is coming in or out. The hotel is small so not really big of a deal.

No pool. There is a beach club 500 mtrs down the road that is owned by the hotel. But make sure you purchase food or drink. I wasn't aware i had to and the owner followed me out when i left to advise me that although i was a guest at her hotel i was allowed to use her pool free of charge but i was expected to purchase something, with 15% discount. I felt terribly embarrassed as i wasn't aware. It would be good to know this before you go to swim in her pool.

The bidet/ bum gun’ seemed to leak randomly so bathroom floor was always very wet! That was the only thing though.

The location is perfect just off the main street of fishermans village and was really peaceful. There were plenty of places to eat and drink and the beechside location is perfect for strolls on the beach. (Reccomend using watershoes as the sand is quite gritty.) Our room was on the top floor and had the most amazing view. The room is large and airy and had everything you needed including fridge tea and coffee and water. The bathroom was a good size and walk in shower with soap and shampoo supplied Only downside to shower was the curtin rings were too small for pole making difficult to move but only a minor niggle than an issue. The bed was large and comfy. The air conditioning was welcome . The balcony was perfect for watching the world go by including some local boats. The staff were so friendly. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that but is available. I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Full room information including size is available before booking, and our room seemed more spacious than what I expected. It was clean, bed very comfortable, bathroom a good size with walk-in shower. Had city/mountain view room on 1st floor. The balcony looked onto power lines and the local motorcycle rental and restaurant on the other side of the road. I enjoyed watching the street life very much in the mornings, with the locals starting opening up for the day, so this was great for me. If that bothers you ask for a higher floor level. Perfect location to walk everywhere. Great service. Recommend. Bonus tip: for a great sunset view, try Ad Hoc wine bar/restaurant which has a lovely outdoor terrace.

My stay at this hotel exceeded all expectations. I honestly loved everything – from the location to the smallest details. The hotel is rather new and well appointed. With a beach view room, it would have been great. We chose street side which was only available at the time. Fun to watch all the people walking the Fisherman's Wharf area, and the best restaurant is across the street called "Charm". The hotel is convenient to all the night life in the area and shopping. Beach is just okay. Breakfast was good. The staff/owners were very pleasant and helpful.

Wished the hotel had a pool or access to one.

First impressions very pleasant and pleasing to the eye. Lovely and clean airy smelled lovely like home from home. Very good location on the beach but away from the crowds at night, short walking distance to main strip lots of restaurants to choose from, everything I had to eat was delicious. Hotel is easily accessible from the street and beach. Nice to sit on the beach with access to sun loungers and could purchase a nice cold beer to enjoy in the sun. The hotel room was so comfortable and clean, the pillows were delightful. Free coffee and tea, there is also a mini bar should you choose to enjoy it. Free bottled water every day x2. This hotel is just two years old but is evident the owner and management take very good care of it. I had a Mountain View room as beach view were fully booked this view was as pleasing and refreshing plus I don’t mind a bit of people watching as they happily stroll through the streets :) There is a lovely porch area through the main reception area with table and chairs where you can still enjoy the beautiful sea view. I cannot comment on breakfast as I did not experience this and not entirely sure what is available to this regard. Pito the manager was very nice and accommodating, he organised my taxis and also helped organise my trip to visits the elephant sanctuary. I highly recommend this hotel.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like .. it is just a shame it was a short stay next time I will book longer.

We have just had a fantastic 6 night stay at the Riviera Beach Hotel. The hotel was spotless and we had a sea view room which had the most amazing views and is a must if staying there. The breakfasts for 250 Bhat (£5) was great and what better place to eat it than sat on the restaurant balcony with an ocean view. The hotel is in a great location at the quieter east end of walking street but only a short 2 minute walk to all the restaurants and bars. Pepito the manager was great and nothing was too much trouble and he made us feel at home from the outset. All in all a fantastic 6 night stay and would highly recommend but make sure you get a sea view room.

Nothing everything was great

We only stayed here for 1 night before our flight back from Koh Samui the next day. SUCH A FRIENDLY greeting on arrival, probably the nicest hotel staff we’ve had the whole trip. Very welcoming and chatty, so thank you for that. We appreciate good service like that. They also allowed us to check in hours earlier as our room was available so that was extremely helpful as we could then leave our bags and get on with our last day. They also took our bags up to the room for us. PERFECT LOCATION. Right in the middle of Fisherman’s Village and by the beach but with minimal noise and slept well. Room is only small but has everything you need and is very clean. Very comfy bed, flat screen tv and fridge with complimentary water. The ONLY slight tiny thing I can point out is that the air conditioning is directly over the bed so no matter what setting it was on it was extremely powerful and sometimes hard to get cosy with it on but then too hot without it on. But there isn’t really anywhere else it could be placed so I do understand completely. However, this would not stop me staying again and no other complaints at all, short but sweet stay! Keep up the good work and thank you for being so accommodating!
