Sam Sam is the place to go! Where do I even begin? It’s absolutely stunning! This beautiful resort is surrounded by lush greenery and offers every comfort you could imagine. The service? Exceptional. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely sweet! it’s hard to describe how much we enjoyed their hospitality. The food was flawless, and the bedrooms felt more like luxurious apartments, perfect for both relaxation and productivity. The Wi-Fi was great, which made it easy to work, and the extras, like the gym..were fantastic. I loved starting my mornings with a good workout there. One highlight was the private island-hopping tour they arranged for us. It was unforgettable! From pick-ups to personalized touches, they made us feel like the only guests at the hotel. This was, without a doubt, the best stay we had during our month in Thailand. I highly recommend it!

We’ve been to Koh Yao Noi 3 times now and this was always somewhere we wanted to stay. Due to it being April the rates had almost halved in price. It’s in a great location by Pasai Beach, you can hire scooters through the hotel so perfect for exploring. They picked us up from the pier in a huge truck! The room was huge, great aircon, comfy bed, and the bathroom was amazing the shower could fit 8 people! Breakfast was picked from an extensive menu and brought to the room at the chosen time. Presentation and food was very good. The ground were lovely, pool was so peaceful with a little bar. As it’s the low season we were felt like we had it to ourselves. It also has a huge gym! Which is rare in Thailand. It’s an arts hotel so the artwork was amazing throughout. One thing that would be nice is if you paved the side of the pool where the sunloungers were, the loungers were on soil, which isn’t as nice as the decked/paved part of the pool, but that’s a tiny thing! We hope to come back some day and stay longer!

The hotel is stunning. Beautiful rooms, an amazing pool area – so many flowers and tropical trees everywhere; it really is like a dream.

You get everything delivered to your room, including breakfast, for example. I sometimes missed having a restaurant, but you get used to it. The only downside is that the kitchen closes at around 5 PM, so you need to order dinner in the afternoon. If you want something to drink or a dessert later, you can't get it, which was a bit inconvenient for us.

It's heaven on earth... Beautiful villas exceptional staff who catered to all our needs and extra requests.. suchs as cake for Birthday's and engagements and helped us arrange activities... and catered for my celiac wife. KYN is a beautiful relaxed island and Sam Sam in our opinion is the perfect place to enjoy it. The villas are exceptional, tasteful and artistic and the facilities are also exceptional. The nature that's surrounds you while you enjoy your stay in these beautiful villas is magical.. On one hand I hope this hotel gets the recognition it deserves but on the other I don't so I can keep it to myself.. It's a slice of heaven and we will treasure our stay for a lifetime... Well until we come back 😀

Nothing... It's heaven

My stay at SAMSAM was phenomenal. I was so impressed with the space, the greenery surrounding the area was so peaceful and the staff were only too happy to oblige any request I had. The food was delicious and the in-villa massage facilities were great. The knowledgeable staff organised everything I needed and I loved my private taxi tour as recommended by the team. Thank you so much!

Some of the other guests were a little inconsiderate and loud but otherwise, the stay was great.

My partner and I had an amazing 6 day stay at Sam Sam. The resort is nestled on a hill in the most beautiful location and the architecture is stunning. Since there are limited villas and apartments it is very quiet and relaxing. Our room was very large with beautiful art and the team cleaned it every day at our preferred time. The breakfast each morning was lovely with a selection of local and American/European breakfast options. Pooky and the rest of the team at Sam Sam were available at all times to answer any of our questions including booking tours, navigating the area or questions about the villa. They always greeted us with a smile and we felt very taken care of the entire duration of the stay. The island itself was magical and we spent the majority of the trip exploring it via scooter. The food at the local restaurants was also exceptional and both the locals and expats living there were so friendly and welcoming. Overall, I think Sam Sam is a hidden gem and we definitely plan to stay there again on our next trip to the island. Highly, highly recommend!

Unfortunately the pool was under renovation due to refurbishment during our stay but to accommodate this they allowed us access to one of the villa pools which was just as large and accommodating.

The place (we rent a house with a private swimming pool) is just amazing: the view on the sea, the decoration with beautiful pieces of arts, the staff. If once in your life you would like to feel like a millionaire this is the place to go. Of course this place is not cheap but once in your life time why not.

If you are a party animal, this is not the place to be (even the island). This is more of an untouched island that you can visit in scooter or explore by boats your surroundings. Apart from the oustanding quality of the resort's restaurant, the rest of the island is pretty basic (but good)

Great location right beside the pasai beach. The staff is wonderful and takes care of everything - pickup in cars, day tours, in-room massages, and providing rental bikes. We had a lovely time here. Spacious rooms, bathrooms, jacuzzi - it provides the perfect private atmosphere. Amazing restaurants 3-5 mins away.

Mildly expensive and a bit lacking in breakfast buffet choices.

Basically Everything. The warm welcome, the pier pickup service, the modern buildings and big room, the pool, the quality of the breakfast, and the cleanliness. I also used the scooter rental (very convenient, 350 Baht per day (i am aware that this is a bit a high price, but considering a hotel rental, and no deposit to be made, i think it's a good deal))

I cannot recommend this place enough. Secluded in complete peace on the hillside of the island. You are surrounded by jungle and birds yet still close to the main road, restaurants and beach. An oasis with lovely pool, views, wellness spaces and breakfast. But most importantly the staff (especially the general manager sasha, nan and jiang) who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable during all our stay.
