This was more like an up market guest house than a hotel, located above a very popular patisserie and cafe owned by the same people in the centre of Krabi. It was close to the river and there were plenty of places to eat close by including night markets. It’s ideally located for trips to the jungle and islands. The room was spacious and nicely laid out with a large king size bed. A lot of thought had been put into making sure guests had everything they needed. There were plenty of nice touches such as coffee beans and a grinder and filter,a kettle and selection of teas plus chocolate brownie cookies. There was always left over pastries at the end of the day that were offered to guests Toiletries were provided along with an emergency toothbrush and toothpaste, dressing gowns etc The bed was really comfortable As with many places you cannot put toilet paper down the loo so be prepared to use a bum gun if necessary

Breakfast is not included in the price and it was a shame that there wasn’t a deal for guests eating in the cafe as the price of breakfast in the cafe was on the high side in comparison to the room. This could be a problem if you are on a budget - you will need to go out.

Can tell the hotel aim to be eco friendly! Added extras such as milky rice toiletries were lovely. One day we were left a carton of milk and a cake outside the door which was very kind. Although we didn’t use the coffee making facilities they seemed good and the biscuits were a nice touch. Staff were all really friendly. Great value for money and good location. Would stay again!

Although we were aware there was no lift we found the stairs a bit awkward. Some of the facilities in the room could do with slight modernisation or repair. The tap on our sink had movement and the area around the aircon was damp/mouldy looking.

The hotel is well located in Krabi. The entrance is through the café Much and Mellow. And the access to the reception is up a narrow spiral staircase. But the staff took care of our luggage. We stayed in the deluxe rooms on the 4th floor which are spacious and furnished in a friendly modern way. The water pressure (critzised in some comments) was good. In front of the rooms was a common living room with books guests left behind. At the café Much and Mellow on the ground floor which belongs to the family one can get a great variety of savory and sweet food. They have their own roasted coffee beans.

The staff were very helpful. We flew out late at night and they allowed us to spend some time after checkout in their community area. The cafe downstairs was a bonus for my husband who likes his coffee (although no gluten-free options). The little touches in the room such as the biscuits and gluten-free rice snacks, daily bakery item, as well as the quality handmade soaps etc were really special.

The room smelt a bit musty each time we arrived back into it and we needed to have the AC on to clear the smell.

Very clean and comfortable. The bed was really comfortable. Lots of hot water and some free cookies in the room were a nice touch. There was also free toiletries. In the morning there was some food outside our door in a little basket but I’m not sure what it was. Maybe bread or dough items.

You must be mobile as you enter through the coffee shop and up a winding circular stair case. Then up more stairs. However there was a lift to carry cases so I assume a disabled person could use this? After the shop closes you use a key card to get back in.

Big and comfortable bed, strong air con and a good location near the night market, restaurants, 10 minute taxi to the pier made it a solid one night stay for us before departing for the islands.

The room they assigned us was a bit darker and smaller than in the photos - there was no armchair to sit in for example. The cafe downstairs was quite expensive by area standards and despite having 10+ staff members around and only a handful of customers, they told us it would take 20-25 minutes to get an avocado toast and egg sandwich for breakfast, and finding this strange and not very hospitable we declined since we had a ferry to catch and got croissants instead.

I stayed for 2 nights. The place was really nice, the room was clean, spacious, and quite comfy. There's a really nice cafe on the first floor. The staff will serve you a piece of bakery and two small cartons of milk every evening

The hotel checkin counter is on the second floor of the cafe, but the hotel sign is very small, hardly noticable. No elevator, the only way up is to take the spiral staircase, which is not very friendly for the elders.

The rooms were clean and well catered. we stayed in room 6403 for 1 night and then on our way back 6402 for 3 nights.. Love the way the hotel is designed very trendy modern decor and really good vibe. The staff is very helpful and friendly they speak very little English, but don't let that damper you communicating with staff google translate and learn to speak Thai even the basic hello good morning good bye thank you oh and how much? The cafe downstairs, called Much Mellow, is awesome, excellent food coffee. It's a great selection, and I am so going to miss the pastries better than Western food

Ok, to get to a family tree hotel, you will be climbing a lot of stairs. Luggage they will take care of it and take it to your room. You won't wanna be dragging your luggage up a circular stairwell unless you are carrying light luggage. However, good leg workout if you keep forgetting things Wouldn't recommend this hotel to elderly people who have less physical mobility.

Simply excellent in every way - after 2 weeks of staying in over priced tourist traps on the islands we had a night in the best hotel in the Andamans. It’s a small family place but everyone is super friendly and helpful. The coffee shop downstairs is the best in town and the location is within a few mins walk from all the best bars and restaurants in town

The only watch out is you need to walk up an awkward staircase to get to your rooms. At 60 I was ok, but not sure I would tackle it at 70 etc

Very nice accommodation in Krabi town.The location of the hotel is really great, the bakery which is directly connected to the hotel makes first-class products which, however, have their price. I recommend taking advantage of the hotel's breakfast offer if you want to have breakfast in the bakery every day, otherwise you will quickly exceed this amount. However, the bakery is a very popular place and therefore always very full. The rooms are clean, quite large and the furnishings are really very nice. The whole hotel is furnished with love, you can see that at first glance. Pastries from the bakery sweeten your day every day free of charge. We would really recommend this accommodation to anyone.

The view from the balcony is blocked by a construction of the outer facade, so the balcony is not suitable for lingering. The room had a somewhat musty smell which probably comes from the air conditioning. The air conditioning in our room was also very loud.
