Location: is spot on. Just adjacent to the krabi night market which opens daily. U can get very decent fruits there! also try the Lan Lek Lek stall there for good stir fries. May and Mark next door serves very decent breky! Room: Clean room with a spacious shower area. Good water pressure. Beds comfy and clean. Bedding still plush feeling and new. Fridge has water provided (and coke and OJ..We didnt drink those tho). A modern TV where we can watch appleTV, not the de rigeur nonsensical channels. Security: One key card per room. For security reasons, the main door is closed after 10pm (i think). Have to get the staff to open it (which is good for safety esp if you are a lone female traveller). There is a safe but it doesn't work with digital lock..so they give u a physical key instead which is pointless really. Breakfast: We opted for their breakfast whcih you have to order one day before, before 10pm. IT is SO GOOD! Finally proper pork bacon fried to perfection. British and American breakfast were both yummy. The fried rice not so. The avocado toast is to die for! All breakfast came accompanied with fruits and cookies. What a nice surprise. Very decent coffee and orange juice(not the concentrate). Just order the brekky.. its worth it! Plentiful and done with pride.

-No lift, only stairs. We were assigned rooms on level 3 and 4. It was ok to climb up with small luggages, but hard if your luggage exceeds 12kg. -the balcony overlooks traffic downstairs, not greenery. But can't be helped because of proximity and direction its facing.

It's cozy, conveniently located, reasonably priced and clean rooms. Quite appreciated the toiletries & the fact that the manager waited up for us even though we were delayed and only arrived at 1 am! There is also a 24-hour 7-11 located right across that took care of dinner problem, especially since it was so late in the night and all the markets were shut down.

Probably a few more breakfast options would have been nice. There is also no lift, so not recommended for folks with mobility issues.

The hotel is very well located, very clean and the lady at the reception is extremely kind and helpful. Breakfast was good - we had to choose from the menu one day in advance, but in addition to what we chose, we also got coffee or tea, fruit, juice, and a cupcake. They had toiletries which sometimes are forgotten even in 4 star hotels-we received toothbrushes and cotton buds, in addition to the usual shower caps and soap. They also gave complimentary water, cookies and coke, which were also a great touch! All in all, this hotel was great value for money!

The soundproofing towards the street was good, noise did not come in. However there was a bit of noise from inside the building, from other guests climbing the stairs or talking loudly on the corridor.

Loved our stay at The Brown Hotel. Located near lots of great food places, a 7-Eleven right outside and a very short walk to the river and small mall too. The hotel staff are wonderful especially Fon the receptionist and our housekeeping lady who were both so warm, attentive, smiley, caring and hardworking. The rooms are very clean, comfy beds, great aircon and they even kindly upgraded us to a bigger room so they could upgrade the one we were staying in with a new TV. Their laundry service was very handy too. Wonderful place to stay if you're visiting Krabi town.

Everything was great. We very much enjoyed our stay. As others have pointed out there is no elevator though so if you struggle with stairs just be aware but the staff kindly help with bringing up luggage too.

Bang in the middle of town. Sandwiched between all the night markets. Close to the river. 20 mins from the airport. The Brown is a reasonably new establishment, that has been well thought after. With spacious rooms, comfy bed, and all the modern conveniences… and includes some free stuff in the minibar + Starbuck’s coffee. The staff are also very welcoming and accommodating… book your day trip to Hong Island (a must) or ferry out to Phi Phi through the hotel, the rates are the same.

Nothing not to like. We actually stayed there twice before and after Phi Phi...

We stayed for one night at the end of our holiday before making our way to Bangkok from Krabi airport (30 mins by taxi), so for us the location was extremely convenient, as well as right next to the night market and walking distance from the pier. Staff were all helpful and friendly, and we enjoyed the choices available for the pre-order breakfast.

We weren't travelling with children/babies and so the tepee in the room was quite pointless really and took up space right next to the bed. I would've preferred having a bedside table instead and easier access to the light switches.

the comfyness of the hotel, the staff who always greeted as we left or entered the hotel. the special Madam that overseers the whole place, she gave us such special attention, kindness and care. she made the whole stay wonderful. an excellent breakfast prepared by herself with the best chocolate chip cookies with extra white chocolate chips that she baked.

This was a cute little boutique hotel with only 11 rooms. The room was on the small size but was very comfortable. We had a little balcony and luckily our room was on the first floor as there is no lift. They serve a very nice breakfast if you decide to include it and there are loads of restaurants everywhere nearby. The staff were helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. We were there during the rainy season.

Nothing I liked everything!

We really enjoyed our stay in the Brown Hotel! It was a very cozy, beautiful designed place in Krabi Town - keep in mind that's not Ao Nang an therefore not very touristy and not that much to do in the neighbourhood. However, for us it was ideal for starting our daytrips in the morning and for returning to a spacious, well designed room with an amazing bed to recharge. The staff is also awesome, they're happy to help you with everything, gave us recommendations for restaurants and cute coffee shops and spoke very good English - not a common thing in Thailand. There are also breakfast options and everyday homemade cookies!!
