The City House is a 2-star hotel, so our expectations weren’t high, but it turned out to be a very convenient place to stay. It’s very close to the fruit market, where you’ll find the best places to eat, like Lak Lak. The room was clean, and the staff was friendly. They also provided water every day. I would definitely come back to this place.

Be careful how you store your food; there might be ants that come to get it if it’s sweet.

Great location in krabi town. Friendly helpful staff. Good value. Clean room. Quiet. Helpful in setting up tours. Next to produce market open in the morning and close to night market on soi 8. Around the corner from May and Mark's highly rated for breakfast and excellent Italian food at Uno.

Sad that we had to leave. Will return next year when we in to krabi town.

Although this was not the most salubrious of hotels, it perfectly suited our needs. We only needed somewhere to sleep prior to our early flight from Krabi Airport. The location was perfect; situated right next to the night market and near the river. The manager was brilliant, making sure we were up in time to drive us to the airport. Tea and coffee facilities were available downstairs in reception. There are none in the room. All-in-all, the perfect cheap hotel for a quick stop over.

The Mrs said the bed was hard, but I didn't notice this.

Me and my friend had an amazing stay. Everything was very clean, there was coffee and water for free, laundry service and it was possible to book any kind of tour and rent scooters. The bed was comfortable and big and the room had a lot of space. But the best thing about our stay was the people who work here. They always helped us with a big smile, made time to chat with us and gave us good advice for food. We will come back next time we are in Krabi. Thankyou so much for this amazing stay 😊

Great location right in town centre. Room was perfect, comfy bed and lots of space. Everything we needed. No kettle in room but hot water available downstairs for teas and coffees if you need. The lady that runs this place is so lovey and was very helpful to us helping rent scooter and book our ongoing transfer for great price and also giving us plenty advice of where to go for food/markets etc.

This is a perfect stay for one or two nights. Location was perfect. So close to night markets and river. Room was clean and spacious and staff were lovely and helpful.

The bed was really hard. I know in Thailand that beds are firm, but this was next level. However, I did end up having a good night sleep...could be due to the many beers though.

- place was clean for most part however was mould on walls and towels/sheets stained. Could tell room had been cleaned just needed a little bit extra. - some ants but common in Asia

The City House achieved exactly what we wanted from it - a convenient stop en route to Ao Nang. The location is excellent (being next to sone markets, with great food + 100 baht cocktails), the facilities are adequate and the hosts are very friendly.

AC took a long time to cool the room (although being on the top level, maybe this is normal?)

The hosts! City House is managed by the nicest people. My friend and I felt like home and we always received help from them. Another thing we loved is that as they have the agency tour you can get picked up to so many places from the hotel. Thank you guys for your hospitality!

The room and the bathroom was very basic, also the cleaning it’s basic but okay for a few nights :)
