The staff is friendly as long as you don't make instant porridge in the kitchen?? They provide cups and hot water fir the guests, so two mornings we made our own porridge. First time it was the older man who said something trying to hush me away when he noticed I was making porridge. Then, another morning the older woman did the exact same thing.. We didn't make a mess and cleaned our cups thoroughly each time, I wonder what was the issue. Otherwise most of the staff greeted us every time they saw us etc so that was nice

The hotel is well-located, just a few minutes from the main street and the night market, with plenty of nice coffee shops, restaurants, and exchange offices nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean with big, comfortable beds. The shared bathrooms and toilets were also clean, with stable hot water. Overall, I would choose this hotel again.

One minor inconvenience was that our room was on the fourth floor, with many steps to climb and no elevator. Additionally, no handwashing liquid was provided on our floor.

Simple accommodation but very large and comfortable room with great aircon. Not noisy at night. I’ve stayed here 3 times now and it is absolutely perfect for me. The staff are lovely and can organise onward transport if you need that. There are plenty of food options including breakfast nearby and you can walk to the night market in 2 minutes.

If it’s important for you, the WiFi isn’t the strongest (but it’s fine downstairs in the bar which is a nice place to hang out) and there are no amenities in the bathroom - soap etc but I prefer not to use single use items so it’s no problem for me.

We extended our stay here several times. The room we stayed in was quite spacious and had air conditioning, a sofa, and a fan. It's located in a quiet neighborhood near a 7/11. The staff was very helpful in helping us with anything we needed and helped us negotiate tours at a good price.

The only recommendation is to increase the number of times the room is cleaned. Highly recommended.

The hotel was very clean. The room was comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly. There are tour and transportation accommodations in the lobby. The location was very good (just far enough to avoid the night noises, but close enough to enjoy all the markets and downtown. Great value! I extended 2 nights.

No elevator, but only 3 flights up.

Absolutely huge room in the centre of Krabi, close to the night markets and located in a lovely street with plenty of restaurants nearby. We actually got food poisoning before we came here and room was excellent to have a few days rest in with a 7/11 1 minute walk away. Staff were super friendly and would have a chat with you if you were in the shared area.

We liked everything, fantastic huge bathroom, massive bedroom and friendly staff. Had to go up 2 flights of stairs so just worth noting if you have any mobility issues. Topped up our room when we needed anything too.

The staff was tremendously helpful and kind. They helped us with booking a tour and any other requests we had. Our room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable (if you like beds on the firmer side)! There's also a nice seating area where you can meet other guests. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here :)

Jp Hometel is a place I recommend for backpackers. It's simple, pleasant, and comfortable for relaxing. It's located in the city center, near the night market. We preferred to stay in Krabi Town for its tranquility. It's a good value compared to other options in Krabi Town or Ao Nang. The staff was very friendly.

Room did smell a tiny bit upon arrival like my nans house but other than that nothing 😆

The rooms are very spacious and the aircon works well without being too loud. You can store luggage here. This was my third visit. The WiFi is better on the ground and first floor but good enough on the second.

There are no toiletries at all, but I have my own and try to avoid single use plastic so it didn’t bother me.
