Super quiet and peaceful location away from the intensity of the touristy spots. The staff were super friendly and the place kept immaculate. Beautiful pool, listening to the sounds of birds in the morning. Really lovely local restaurant 5 minute walk away, you can see monkeys on the way and sea kayaking also 5 minute walk to the shore was incredible too. A hidden gem.

Having breakfast on site would have been helpful. Just as we left they installed a coffee machine and had tropical fruit available to buy.

We loved the krabi discovery resort. Kanchana, the lady who runs it, is a lovely friendly person and we were given a handwritten welcome note with lists of the itineraries available. The room was quite pleasant with very effective air conditioning and a pool right outside. The venue is so quiet, it's off the beaten track so don't expect fully stocked 7-11's nearby but for us, the lack of bustling chaos was beautiful. She can direct you to a beautifully secluded beach (bit of a trek and climb), a wonderful day kayaking in the mangroves and personal boat trips out to the islands early morning. There is also two restaurants nearby, the monkey bar on the river which is lovely and the restaurant on the hill nearby. If you're happy on foot, there are extra cheap street food style mini eateries in the back roads.. If you go kayaking, the guide is recommended as they will stop John the monkey from stealing your bag. The location is a fair taxi ride/grab from krabi centre but one you're here, you can travel easily to the islands of koh yao yai and on to phuket by fast ferry. The pier is literally 5 mins walk from the resort. The cost is low and the environment is simple, for the semi budget concious adventurer who wants a comfortable room with a pool, I've not found much more of a peaceful home throughout Thailand. :)

Nothing was wrong for us. If you need lots of other people, 7-11 next door and many easy road transport links, this is maybe not the place for you

We needed the ferry so it was ideal. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The premises and gardens were well kept.

There was a mix up over food and so couldn’t get breakfast in the morning. Also we went to a local restaurant that was closed. The dining area is great as a space, but the food situation was really ambiguous.

The staff was super friendly and welcoming. I arrived after a long travel day and the owner was kind enough to call the nearest restaurant and get my food delivered in my room. Very big room and nice view over the pool. Breakfast was perfect! I only stayed for one night, but will come back for sure!

Quiet and beautiful resort right on the beach for a really good price. I left my brand new laptop on a bus and the manager went above and beyond to find it back. While I already lost hope he came and brought it to my bungalow. Just amazing

The owner is a super helpful person, the beds are really comfortable and the surrounding nature is beautiful. The pool is clean and well maintained.

It's far away from ATMs and general services of populated areas. That may be what you want!

It was quiet and secluded which is exactly what we were after. Kanchana and her staff were excellent and it was great value for money
