We booked for 2 nights. We wanted some place quite and peaceful and it was perfect. For these prices, the room and the cleanness was more than good. Extra plus for the pool which was almost always empty so we had a great time (we booked in low season). The staff is super nice and always helpful. You can book a taxi, apply for muay thai boxing classes or rent a motor bike by the reception. In front of the hotel is the principal road and after the road you have a direct access to the beach. It’s small but more than enough to go for an afternoon swim. It’s 35min (ap. 500BHT) to go see the Big Buddha by Grab. 7-11 is right in front of the door, and some small restaurants w good prices. Very simple but very good stay.

the staff were brilliant , very hard working especially the room maid and the gardener who was always willing to help out if you had a question .I rented a motorbike which was easy to do with no hassle ,even when I had a puncture I called the hotel and within 10 minutes they had a mechanic collect me and the bike to fix it . excellent service

my only problem was with the noise from the couple in the next room who liked to stay up way past midnight drinking and smoking weed the smell of which would blow into my room .luckily I had earplugs to help drown out the noise a little bit

The welcome from Palm was warm and helpful. My baggage had been delayed so I arrived without any of my adaptors to charge my phone but she found one and let me borrow it overnight. Then I couldn’t get through to the number I was given by staff at the airport to check on the progress of my rucksack so she went out of her way to contact the number for me, and told me it would arrive later that night. As the office closed at 11pm she took my number to contact me by WhatsApp in my room to let me know when it had arrived even though she would be off duty. My bags duly arrived at around midnight (7 hours later than I had) and were delivered to my room. She also arranged a taxi to take me to the pier the next morning at 7 am, and then sent me a message afterwards to make sure I had arrived on Koh Tao safely. The room was clean and had a fridge (with water) in and a kettle to make coffee in the morning. There is a supermarket just next door so I could go there and pick up toiletries and overnight essentials in the eventuality that my bag did not arrive before my leaving the next day. There was a lovely pool but unfortunately I could not use it as I had no bag with swimming costume in!

There is nothing I did not like about the property itself. The only thing I would say is that I knew I had to take the ferry at 8am the next morning so I looked on booking.com and the property appeared to be much closer to the pier than it was in reality. However, having said that it was only a 10 min taxi ride in the morning as there is not much traffic on the road at 7am.

The property was really quiet what we loved after a couple loud hotels! The pool is really big aswell what is always a bonus haha. The rooms are big and there’s loads of space for all your luggage, there is also a 24/7 food shop, beach and restaurant right in front of the resort so everything is close if you didn’t want to get a scooter or taxi to the city part. Huge shoutout to The two laddies we met at reception were really lovely and spoke good English so we understood everything perfect! They helped us book a taxi the next morning aswell :) Would recommend this place for a quite couple nights!

The only negative was in our room there was a lot of mosquitos what was quite annoying but didn’t really affect our stay that much!

The staff are wonderful - friendly and helpful. The pool is great. The resort is literally across the road from the beach, with several wonderful beach bars/restaurants, supermarkets, places to have a massage within a short walk. They offer bike hire and can arrange car hire. The resort is very basic and a little dated. Minimal furniture in the rooms. But for the price for a base it’s great. Quaint and peaceful.

We were able to check in an hour early, which was really nice. The woman checking us in was really friendly. Room had everything we needed and seemed clean. The pool was amazing! We spent most of our time on the beach on the other side of the road, but in the evening we hung out in the pool. There's a washing line, so you can dry your towels and swim suits.

We didn't realise that the beach was across a (at times busy) road, so that was a bit inconvenient. The hotel is still very close to a lovely beach and lots of restaurants. Not close to shops though, so if you want to do any souvenir shopping, you'll have to drive into the centre.

The place is really amazing. The location is GOOD if you are looking for a nice, quiet and beautiful beach. Most people stay close to the pier but I think the beach here close to this place is muuuch better. The private room for 2 is simple but with AC and also the bathroom was ok, nothing special.

The Wifi in the last 3 rooms of the resort (after the pool) was very poor, didn't worked at all. It disappointed very much. We tried to tell them but it was not fixed.

Beautiful outdoor area and good location, 2 minute walk to the beach and lovely bars around. Bestest and cheap Thai restaurant mamas around the corner too. Good size room and comfy.

The only problem was that the safe didn’t work & none of the staff knew how to work it/open it with very poor to no English which means we had to keep valuables with us and they didn’t give us an answer

Good location, very close to nice beach. The staff was helpful and flexible, they help us to rent the bike on very affordable price. The room was clean; each day we got free water and coffee. There is no restaurant or bar at the resort but there are plenty of them nearby. The pool was nice.
