Location and the view were amazing

There was a leak in our apartment and the internal locks kept sticking and my son was locked in his toilet and then again in his bedroom. Also light above the bed was not working and when reported it still wasn’t fixed all week.

The private pool and massive room were the selling points! Absolutely incredible views at sunrise/sunset, really proving the "Panorama" name. The room had two bathrooms, and two TV's. The staff were extremely accommodating and very kind. The residence also has scooter rentals available which helped out a lot! The room is a lot bigger in person, very spacious.

The location is up on the mountain and is not walkable. There is a very convenient shuttle provided going up and down pretty frequently, and tours do still pick you up from the hotel, but getting up and down at night, you need a car/ride share service

Absolutely loved the views, the peace and quiet and the chic and stylish apartment. Restaurant cooked excellent food and was good value, which is important if you’re not with your own transport.

As some of the apartments / suites are let long term there isn’t a typical hotel vibe, sometimes you might be the only people in the bar (!) as families are living in the complex, but this didn’t spoil it for us. The road up to the hotel is very, very steep. if you are hiring are car, better to go for a slightly more powerful one than the 1.1 Toyota we hired, which barely made it up the hill unless we turned the air on off to give it more power…

Beautiful view, nice spacious apartments with private pools. Very relaxing atmosphere, outside the busy parts of Ko Samui. Very nice and helpful staff. Couldn’t have survived without the complimentary shuttle rides on and off from the property to the main road. Also complimentary (golf) cart rides within the resort were really nice considering the location on steep hills/mountain. Food at the restaurant was really tasty, breakfast prices (not incl to the fee) were too expensive for our preference.

If you’re looking for relaxing, this is the place. Nightlife & even larger variety of restaurants are far off this location (even from the main road). Some parts of the property could have used bit of renovation, but in general the place was great **** - would not say luxury though.

Absolutely beautiful property! The 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath suite was immaculate and the views were beyond stunning. The restaurant had an excellent mix of Thai and western food that was also surprisingly good. The staff are all very accommodating, pleasant and helpful. Tram service is offered on the property and the room service was top quality. They also offered laundry service that was completed in the same day. I would definitely stay here again.

Because of it’s location up on the mountain, it is not within walking distance of anything. The roads, however, were very well maintained and not too steep in any area making it easy to traverse whether renting a car or scooter. The property does offer taxi services for a price.

Great views from the main area and restaurant of the hotel, clean room and comfy beds. The room size is great, and it’s awesome having the amenities that we did. Staff are super welcoming and polite, and the free shuttle means you can easily access the road, beach and other amenities nearby.

Even for being in the location that it is, we did find the restaurant to be priced on the high side, including visiting other luxurious restaurants. The view from many of the rooms, including ours, is compromised by the close proximity of the building in front. Our pool had the window of this building looking directly at it immediately in front, meaning there was no privacy and we didn’t actually use it because of this. Reception only being available from 8am-8pm is not perfect, but understandable. The tap in one of our rooms also came off when turning it, which caused an intense water feature and soaked quite a few things, but these things happen and it is easily fixed.

From the moment we arrived, our experience at Panorama Samui Residences was excellent. The lady at the front desk was very polite, and the concierge took our bags straight away. Our room wasn’t ready until 12pm – earlier than expected, as check-in was meant to be from 3pm – which was a nice surprise. The hotel offers a free shuttle service at set times, taking you from the hotel down to the bottom of the mountain, which is very convenient. We stayed in the Deluxe Suite with Sea View and Private Pool, which was absolutely stunning. Room service was quick, and all the staff were polite, friendly, and welcoming – especially Sami, who went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel operates via WhatsApp for contacting reception, which was easy and efficient. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, and we were touched to find a beautiful swan towel arrangement and cut-out leaf lettering to celebrate our honeymoon. The location is simply breathtaking. Although we experienced a power cut due to the weather during our stay, this was completely out of the hotel’s control and didn’t affect our overall experience. Absolutely gorgeous – we could not fault the hotel in any way and would happily return.

We were a bit worried about this place having read some of the negative reviews - especially that it was a scam. But they couldn’t be more wrong. It’s great value for money and we really enjoyed our stay. Stunning views and very clean and wonderful private pool. The apartment was very large, and clean. The staff were hugely accomodating and lovely - even pointed us to a good swimming beach nearby. We could request daily housekeeping, they remade all beds (including changing sheets), swept and even washed all our dishes daily! Also provided water and buggy pickup/drop off from the car park. Aircon was strong and throughout all rooms (much appreciated in the heat and humidity). Communal pool was also large, clean and had stunning views. It was well maintained. We were the only people using it during our visit.

You do need a car/scooter to get here (we saw plenty of scooters parked up top and two of our party rode a scooter with no problems). The lights are a bit dim and there were some teething problems on arrival (the electricity went out which mean water was switched off too, but it was fixed within 1 hour of us noticing). Place had a bit of wear and tear and could do with better proactive maintenance but for this price point, we were willing to put up with minor issues (eg a towel rail fell of one of its hinges)

We truly enjoyed our stay at Panorama Samui Residences. The stunning views, the friendliness of the staff, and the excellent service were simply fantastic. We stayed in a very spacious three-bedroom apartment with its own private plunge pool. Expect a bright and clean apartment, although the finishing could be improved. The location was perfect for us, wonderfully quiet, and with the shuttle service it was easy to go for grocery shopping. If you’re looking to be right in the middle of the hustle and bustle, this might not be the place for you.

Beautiful quiet place with private pool.. good sized apartment nicely decorated, private bathtub, 2 toilets, big kitchen and outdoor space. Nice restaurant with good food and friendly staff. Food is served quickly. Very nice facilities and pools. Nature and trees and flowers. All in all a beautiful place to chill and spend time in private with family or as a couple.

The location has fantastic views over the ocean ad to koh pagnang, but the road up to the resort is very tricky with a small scooter if you are 2 people. We had a honda forza 350 and it had some strongle too 😅 It's a 20 minute drive to fisherman's and 25 to central samui.
