Quiet oasis in the middle of a big city. Small, but comfortable bungalows in the middle of a large garden with a water pond. At night it sounds like you sleep in the middle of the jungle, although you're just a 20min walk away from all the main temples and markets. Breakfast portions are rather small for hungry guys, but luckily the friendly staff gave us a second one. ;-)

It's important to know that the private bathroom is outside the room, one floor down.

This is a charming b&b! Old style Thai house with beautiful woodwork and furniture... A large tree is growing in the center atria where the breakfast area is. Our room also had a private lanai with view of the yard - it is a great place to relax! The breakfast options are many and varied - served with fresh fruit, fresh juice, coffee and toast. Our host was so helpful and friendly! It is in a great location - walkable to many sights... highly recommended!

The motel is part of a set of buildings in typical Thai style and the room I stayed in was very spacious and quiet with a large bathroom. The gentleman at the desk was very helpful in explaining where to go in Ayutthaya and I rented a bicycle from the hotel to get around the city and visit the temples and the museums. You could choose for either a Thai option or eggs for breakfast with a healthy fruit plate, coffee and some juice. I paid a lot more than I could have, had I ordered a transfer from Bangkok airport to the motel through the motel's own pickup service. Unfortunately I managed that through 12asia ending up paying a lot more, almost double, didn't know that, so keep that option in mind.

Maybe some softer cushion would have been great.. The rest was great, nothing else to add.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The traditional Thai house is lovely and the rooms are even better than they show in the pictures. Multiple cozy sitting areas around the public spaces. Breakfast was simple, but freshly made to order. The location was off one of the main roads but was within walking distance to most places we visited. 15 min walk to the night market. 10 min walk to restaurants along the river.

This place was a real surprise! First of all, all the staff we met was super! The manager, Mr. Chirdsak, was very kind and welcoming (and suggested taking the boat tour, which we really enjoyed!). Thor was incredibly helpful when we needed info about trains/buses, or simply an extra towel. Coco was also very nice! Thanks for making us feel at home! Second, the location was spotless and very convenient to reach the main temples or other attractions like the night market. Lastly, breakfast (a traditional Thai one) was excellent and homemade! Nothing! Once a place is tidy and clean, and people are welcoming, all is good! ☺️

Lovely traditional guest house with very friendly and helpful staff. Well located within easy walk/cycle of many of the temples, restaurants, night markets, 7 Eleven etc.

I stayed here for 4 nights, in 2 different rooms, one with a balcony and one without. They were both lovely, spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The guest house feels large and airy, traditionally Thai styled, with different common spaces to hang out in. The owner is very friendly and all the staff were so helpful and kind. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, which is pretty important to me. There are bikes for rent here which was great to get around town with, but make sure you check the condition when you pick one. This is pretty centrally located to the Wats, as well as to a number of delicious cafes. The food stalls by 7-11 down the block are surprisingly good. Breakfast each morning included fresh fruit, toast, and eggs any style with ham or sausage. Really this place was one of my favorite places to stay in Thailand and I was in the country for 3 weeks so that's kind of saying a lot.

The design of the place is very charming. The wood interiors of the rooms is warm and inviting. Everything was very clean. The location was fantastic and had free parking. Lovely fruit tray came with breakfast.

There was a TV in the room but only basic cable. We were spoiled, having Netflix available at our previous guest house. Breakfast was included but all the menu items were eggs. I was able to get the egg dish that was had rice and stir fried veggies without the egg. Only white bread for toast.

Luang Chumni Village is a lovely, calming place to stay. It is arranged like a Thai village, with each hotel room a separate Thai house (made of teak, on stilts, with water underneath). It is beautifully-done. The staff could not have been more helpful - lovely people. The breakfast was simple but really tasty, and served in a lovely courtyard. The hotel has a back gate that leads directly into the tourist area of Ayutthaya, giving the best of both worlds re location and tranquility.
